I wanted to upgrade my new desktop power supply from 400w to 600w as I was adding more internal and external accessories. It was easy to replace the original unit and connect up to the mother board and drives.

I bought an upgraded graphics card and needed to get an upgraded power supply. After looking around on the internet I decided to hit the local Best Buy Store and found this little gem. I must say I was expecting a difficult install, but it was pretty straightforward! It has many spare connectors for adding more hardware into the PC.
The only draw back would be if you have a very compact case, the amount of cables may be difficult to fit into your case. So always make sure that you have the space inside your PC Case before upgrading a power supply

Product as advertised - excellent power supply with plenty of connections for SATA and IDE devices. Runs quiet and added a few watts to my pc from it's stock configuration. Highly recommended.

This power supply came in handy with a system build a while back. We used it as an emergency replacement, and for the price it was perfect. 600W is more than you need for a solid gaming build. 5 Year warranty is more than most manufacturer offer, and I love and respect Thermaltake so it was a no brainer.
My only complaints are that it wasn't braided or colored cabling, so your interior looks like old computers with the multi-colored mess inside. Also, it isn't modular, so you're stuck with all the cabling, which can lead to a rat's nest.

It's quiet and it works. 4 stars because the cables look cheap. Also you can't remove them from the power supply. If your desperate for a power supply this one is for you. If you can wait get a corsair.

Power supply died on a two year old PC which is still one of our most powerful CAD 3D workstations in our office. Had been flaky for a while before dying altogether. Now running perfectly.
This power supply has all the needed connections, plentiful power, Is relatively easy to install, and comes at a great price. Rescued a $2000 workstation that had always had an underpowered power supply that gave out.
Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace a Thermaltake PS that gave up on me. Easy to install, silent operation, low price. What more can you ask for? I paid $48 on sale.

As your poor lobotomized PC sits lifeless, waiting for it's new electrical heart, you sit and ponder, what the heck are all these different wires are for, and why didn't you go modular?
After getting your B.A. & Masters in Electrical engineering you will finally understand where to plug everything in on your Motherboard and your drives and VideoCard. Which you should do before, sliding your new power plant in to place and locking it down with the same screws used to charge Frankenstein's Monster.
You will, no doubt, be sweating bullets now, wondering if you broke your PC. If you forgot to discharge static, or pushed too hard on a plug, or maybe you are uncomfortable with how many extra plugs you have open (GO MODULAR NEXT TIME!). You wipe the sweat from your brow, and slowly go to plug in your new power supply to the surge protector. Don't forget to actually flip the switch on the back of the power supply!
As you power up your pc you get that smug satisfaction that you completed the heart transplant and have given your PC new life. Transistors Flare, Copper Coils pulse with power, and this new machine converts and regulates the 120v coming out of your wall and distributes it across all the power hungry demons you've installed in your rig.
Rejoice, you saved some cash, fixed or set up your rig, and now have a solid power flow for anything you want to put in there.

I bought this power supply cause it was on sale. It works well. I haven't checked the power efficiency or any other technical details, but it works nicely for me. My only complaints are; one the cords are kinda short. In one location I had difficulty getting it to reach. The other issue was that the cords were tangled and somewhat of a pain to straighten. Also colors aren't too impressive with a themed build. This was a good experience for a first build, but I'll likely replace it the next major component change.

I purchased this power supply as a replacement for a failed unit. The install was fast and easy and the unit is very quiet. I do moderate gaming and this has more than enough power to run everything I have installed including my gtx750ti graphics card. It was a good value for the price.

I bought this to power a large 3d printer I'm building, so my review for a pc power supply is kinda useless to the casual buyer. it was cheap and is made by themaltake, a good brand when it comes to quiet and cooling, and I guess their psus are decent. I bought a 430 for my printrbot play it has been working nicely as a general power supply. haven't really used this one yet, but I get 25 points for every review I complete, so there's that.
