    There just wires

I bought this power supply to go with the video card I chose to install in my computer and so far there hasn't been any problems. The power supply is quiet and my video card installed without any problems. The wires are a bit stringy but once you get a hold on what goes where than you worry about it otherwise forget about it use plastic ties to help control your wires. "FYI" I would suggest using a wrist strap to get grounded when you swap out the connections from the motherboard and HDD's.

    Perfect Power Supply For Replacements/Upgrades

Bought this power supply because i needed to install a good graphics card. Fits perfectly into an HP case. Supports multiple processors as well as high end graphics where multiple power connectors are required. Also has legacy connectors so i was finally able to hook up the fan on my SSD drive. Also has a downward facing fan to aid in the cooling of graphics cards. If you need a power supply you can't go wrong with this one.

    600 watts of POWER!!!!

This power supply was very easy to install. I was afraid that the 4pin ATX for the motherboard was not on the psu cabling but read that you had to detach a 6+2 pin to make it a 4pin. After installation I noticed that the start up of my desktop is twice as fast and very pleased with it. I can't complain about having 600 watts of power for the motherboard now :D

I have always liked Thermaltake and would have given it 5 stars but i was not able to use this particular unit since it lacked a 4 prong square plug that connects to the mobo? the last unit I bought had all the plugs I needed

    Great but loud

Just bought an h8-1234 and decided to upgrade psu and gpu. Saw good reviews elsewhere for this model and was also a good price on sale. I'm no computer builder but I'm good at taking apart and putting back together things. There are way more attachment cords than needed and after hooking it up and turning back on, this thing is a lot louder than previous unit. All in all I'm still satisfied but be warned it is loud

    cheep cables

this is a 600watt PSU with 23/20amp 12volt rail. Over all it runs good but the 12V CPU power to the main broad is 20AWG wire as well is the PCIe power connector that all so split at the end. they are so cheep they split the 20awg wire further stressing it's load capacity. If i were drawing 15+ amps from any video card i would be concerned as the wire is WAY to thin. try comparing the 20 awg wire from this PSU it to some 18 awg wire..

Previous 600w PSU died after use since 2008. I'm a PC GAMER, this new psu was very simple to install. I bought this PSU because the one in my computer had died due to age. I was expecting a cheap feeling PSU but it's far from that. It is very quiet so much so that I forget sometimes that my PC is even on. Highly recommend this PSU.

Great PSU but really loud under load

This is a great PSU that can keep up with my XFX R7 260x 2GB DD and A8-7600. The only downside is that it is quite loud. Under normal conditions this PSU runs fairly quiet and is not much louder than the stock PSU. However, once you fire up a game that ups the power draw, this thing is about as loud as an oscillating fan. Another downside is that the cables are extremely long which adds a rats nest of cabling inside your tower. I could understand if you had a gaming tower with more room for cable management, but it is a real hassle for the average every day user. Overall I have seen great performance but the ~70% efficiency is kind of a turn off. I will be upgrading this PSU to something quiet and modular in the near future.

This is a good power supply with plenty of cables. The price is very reasonable especially compared to other ones from different sites. Easy to install and runs quieter than my old power supply.

    Somewhat dissapointed

It powers on but the packaging and the description on the website are VERY misleading. To the average person its probably irrelevant but its advertised as a "cable management optimized." To make a long story short... Its not. The cables are an absolute mess! The only cable with any sleeve around is it is the 24pin connector. The rest of the cables are all stranded and have no sleeve around them. They are the old school wire tied together look. I hardly call that "cable management optimized!" Had this thing had sleeving all around I would have gave it 5 stars but to pull it out of the box and see this absolute mess of cabling really dissapointed me. Bestbuy should have a complete picture of the product and or the MFG should put the pictures on the box.

Fully modular power supplies are easier to install, but cost a fair bit more than these. I bought parts for my two kids to build their own machines (I.T. guy here...) These power supplies have been installed on two gaming machines (single graphics GPU) for 3 months without issue. Note : If you are going to run the latest and greatest graphics cards GTX680/690, I would probably suggest 750W+.

Perfect replacement for Gateway DX4300 desktop

Best Buy Geek Squad checked my desktop and found the power supply was bad. I picked out this ThermalTake TR2-600NL2NC and the tech said that one would fit my needs. It was very easy to install. I tie wrapped the extra cords and stuffed them in a empty drive chamber. Time to perform this was about one hour. Drive is very quiet. Can tell no difference in it versus the original 300 FSP 300-60THA(1). The Geek Squad did not charge me for checking out my drive or for the free advice.
