I prefer Corsair's coolers
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate the setup when first adding the cooler is especially the circular clip that clips into the other top piece. It's just a way tedious work. The metal of that stuff cut my finger when installing the cooler.

MOBO Incompatibility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t get me wrong great cooler for the price. Problem is my MOBO is a MSI X470 Gaming Plus. The RGB cables are only 3 pin where as my MOBO headers are all 4 pins. I didn’t think it would be an issue since it comes with a small controller with the unit. But that comes with another issue since now I can’t install the Thermaltake software because the Fan and pump is not connected other than power to the MOBO. Looked up the unit on their website and sure enough my MOBO is not listed. This makes it difficult to control fan speeds especially the the fan pump rpm which seems to be locked in its highest rpm. The radiator fan is great and quiet but the rpm speed won’t save when the computer reboots and goes back to a default setting which is a ramped up. Really wished It worked like I wanted but it wasn’t meant to be. On a side note it cooled my Ryzen 2700x to an average of 39 Celsius at idle and under a stress test it maxed out to about 69 Celsius. It’s great just not the right fit for my MOBO.

Half functioning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So it works where it counts, I've run several benchmarks, and done stress testing and my cpu hasnt melted, but the lights dont really work. Most of the time they're completely out, with occasional activation and sync with my motherboard.
