    The shank of this is thick. Not very practical for most cooking uses. Would be good for a big roast though.

    Awesome for meat that is big enough to insert this thing. It's about 4 inches so you need a decent piece of meat. It measures the ambient and internal temps which is great.

    The biggest drawback is searching for the app, when you search for it this one comes up and you think its the right one with lots of ratings and it turns out its the wrong one and for months you thought you just had a dud. And yes other reviews I have read see, to have the same issue without realizing it was the wrong app and that's more the thermopro for having 2 apps for wireless thermometerapps and for not differentiating more. overall quality and use is as expected. App confusing as a pain

    Amazing customer service. We had an issue with our thermometer, and I contacted Thermpro about it. They responded immediately, resolving our problem. So far, working great! LOVE not having wires!
