Thief is a pretty good game, you do need patience to play this game and to get used to the repetitiveness of some of the missions but overall it isn't too bad

Very entertaining game. The story is great, and the graphics are fantastic. Very dark though, so make sure your TV brightness is correctly adjusted.

It is similar to assassins creed and the gameplay feels the same. Not bad if you pick up on sale for less than 20 bucks, other than that save your money.

Picked this up for about $10, honestly don't think I would pay more than that. If you are truly interested, check out some full reviews.

Thief is a great challenging game when you have the difficulty up or have certain custom difficulty settings on. Fun to sneak around in the shadows and try to complete the game being a ghost. Control scheme is odd to get used to at first. They have adapted an app that helps keep track of your stats, but you can easily check them in game. If you want a single player game that is meant to played stealthily, all whilst looting all the shiny objects you want then this game is a great play.

I played this on the original xbox and loved it. It was great to see them bring it back and I have to say it was just as good as the original.

The game is good but not great. It has the feel of a last Gen game ported over. There are times when the Ai gets stuck running at wall and the cut scenes don't sync up with the voices. One of things that is fun is you can play 3 different styles of thievery to complete your goal and use custom settings to determine the difficulty.

Been playing thief from the time the first one came out over a decade ago. Bought this one for my kids to play thinking like the previous ones this one won't have any adult content. I am told by the kids that there are naked people and people very inappropriately dressed, and they won't be playing it anymore just in case there are more scenes like that. For an adult who likes the thief series this is a perfect good game.

I am a big Assassins Creed fan so when I seen Thief come out I was very interested in playing it. For being stealthy it is a great game, moving to different covers, jumping from shadows, moving in the cover of darkness. However the overall combat could use some work, while using some of the takedowns are impressive, fighting is the game is difficult. I recommend trying to go through the game in stealth, and only picking the fights you have to.

Ipreordered Thief because it came from the same developer as Deus Ex. I have not played or replayed a Thief game since Deadly Shadows on Xbox. I expected to be stealing cool and unique loot for money, but instead, most of the game is spent pilfering through apartments and hovels stealing spoons, forks, scissors, and letter openers for small amounts of gold to buy upgrades. I expected a Robin Hood type plot, but instead I got some weird fantasy plot where another thief gets involved in a magic ritual and it causes city wide depression and then you have to steal primal magic shards to release the primal magic from the thief because a revolutionary hero is using the magic to heal people but the primal magic actually turns people into monsters. Yes, monsters. Monsters you have to avoid/sneak around/fight at several points in the game but it's never explained. The occasional short side mission was enjoyable, especially the bank heist dlc. The city is hard, annoying, and frustrating to navigate, with horrendous load times. Wait for this one to get to $20 before you buy or just rent it for a week instead.

Thief walks a line that is rather thin. The game is rather solid, but constantly you get hints at what the game could have been. Also, the control scheme seems to be a bit clunky.

This is an older game so let's get that out of the way. The graphics are no better than its Xbox 360 counterpart. BUT, for $6.00, and a good game, you can't pass it up.

i like this game is fun but if i would have waited it was 1 of decembers free games with gold so i could have saved some money but whatever its fun to play

This new version of Thief stays true to the original game from past years. Level of difficulty is nice forcing you to think about what your doing and not just running around blasting everything. It can be a little tedious at times but even that makes it feel more realistic with being impatient having consequences. Overall if you enjoy stealth over blasting everything in sight you will enjoy this game.

BEAUTIFUL graphics coupled with solid stealth mechanics makes Thief (XB1) a game worth playing. Combat is (or should be) non-existent because you are a thief! Don't purchase this game expecting to run into a room, bow-a-blazin... It doesn't work like that! If you want to be treated with a beautiful visual experience as you slowly and methodically move around each area, Thief is for you.

This game is a great game for the gamer that wants a game that they won't beat in a matter of hours. It is in depth and has side missions along with numerous collectibles to be found. You choose how to complete the missions and the path that you use to accomplish it. It is nice to have various options for completing the jobs. I would definitely recommend this game to others!

The story is very good, the area and the time period reminds me a little of Dishonored by Bethesda. This game has fairly good graphics and animations however the Xbox One Game look is so similar to the 360 the are almost identical. Still waiting for a next gen game!

This game is ok. A little slow. Sometimes hard to find what you are looking for.
