The night time quality is low, but you can still see the lanes and street lights. what is $70 that could save you a $1000.00 deductible. (I have 2 teenagers that drive).

But license plates are not readable. Biggest concern is that you can't see the video without taking out the SD card, so you don't know if the camera is correctly pointing at all times.

Also should include an optional suction cup mount because it's difficuly lining the wire with the adhesive so that it isn't in your driving vision. I got so frustrated I only used it once without putting the adhesive. Just holding it to test the quality and trying to find an innovative way to mount it myself. Buy one with a suction cup of walmart one..
