This cam has pretty good quality, I like the easy set up. Software can use a little bit of work but overall a fan.

Just installed it on my car. Looks and feels solid. Picture quality is great even not in 4k. 2k is enough for me.

So far its working out really great. The set up was very simple, and the installation was pretty straightforward. The video quality looks bad at first if you hook your phone up to it, but when you go to transfer it to a computer its really quite good. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a simple plug and play solution without alot of complicated nonsense or thinking involved.

Easy to install. Video is good, but one issue. Red light cameras notifications are loud, but any road safety sounds you would not be able to hear. Very quiet. I had volume on max and still chimes very faint. Contacted tech support. They replied saying need week to test this. I’ll keep this camera until return period is in affect, but would need to return if this isn’t resolved. I had X500 camera for 7 years, sounds were loud. Thinkware please fix it!!! Will update here if solution is found.

This camera is very good and just works works works. The only catch is it will jump infront of your other apps. At least it does to me on my android phone. ie. You start up, the camera confirms it's on, then jumps to its own wifi setting and kills my music and waze map. So I have to shut that out. It will records and does its job, but you cannot play back videos until you connect to thinkware.

Excellent purchase. Video and audio recordings are good quality. Easy hookup to the smartphone to review footage.

I like this das cam but it is not intuitive. Still haven't got the "cloud" to work. IT is very little help. The online manual gives a bit more info. Overall, this is a good camera. I wish the app that you need to use it were better. Video is high quality

I have these Dash Cams in all my vehicles. They are the best dash cams I have yet used, they are high quality and have amazing features, you can use app to see and watch and access the cameras settings as long as you are connected to the cameras wifi. You can also install another in your back windshield that is also accessed by the app. Your car is 80% protected around where the cameras can see.

My entire reason for paying a premium price for this dashcam was for the parking surveillance mode. However, the recorded video is unacceptably pixelated; nothing like the nice, clear videos they show on their advertisements. When I contacted Thinkware, they said the pixelation in this mode is "normal". Don't waste your money on this dashcam when much cheaper models are out there that are just as good in all other standard modes.

After much research, I decided on the Q800 PRO and its corresponding rear-view camera. So far, no regrets on the purchase. It works as intended... good video quality for both front and rear view. The Q800 can adjust the up/down angle of the camera based on where you mount it on the windshield and windshield angle. A big plus was the use of the Thinkware OBDII plug and play connection. With this connection, you don't need to hardwire to a fuse box. Thumbs up!

Installed the Q800 PRO to my SUV after watching all installation instructions in YouTube. I also installed a rear camera (THINKWARE - Rear View Camera). The front camera picture quality is very good. I also connected it to a Cellink Neo Battery because I did not want to use my car battery to power it when parked. Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance of the dashcam & battery.

Front camera works great, a little redundant when you are in a camera zone but I am sure you can turn it off. I bought for front and back camera, but found out the rear camera displays in reverse. I was told by tech support that they did that on purpose as people were using for backup camera. See my 1 star review on the reverse camera. Unless you're looking for a front only camera, or they fix that I would not buy this product for front and rear.

Replaced a Garmin dashcam, much happier with the profile of this unit and it has better quality video.

I installed this in my Honda Odyssey and have the rear camera too and had to use this in a wreck we were in. Thankfully I was able to have proof I was not at fault! The 1440p is definitely clear enough make out plates and faces, it also has amazing low light with the Sony Sensor built in!

This dashcam has performed well for my son thus far. The biggest perk that he has enjoyed is being able to see when someone walks past or around his car when the car is parked.

Had this hardwired so that it works when the engine is running and have been impressed with the video quality as well as the ease of connecting with the wifi. It's hidden behind the rear view mirror so there is no distraction while driving plus it doesn't stand out as an add-on. Bonus, Best Buy had it on sale for $100 off.

Love this dash cam so much I bought one for my daughter and will be buying another for my son!
