    The Semi-sequel to Knocked Up

The movie is great, I don't laugh out loud while watching many movies but I definitely did with this one. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that they have 2 actors who played decent sized roles in Knocked Up coming back as completely new people. That irked my boyfriend and I a bit but otherwise we love this movie.

I had a good laugh in various scenes of the movie and was very observant in the dramatic scenes when the actors all impacted with one another, which were a nice touch-up in this movie. It is enjoyable to watch how the family in this movie functions as a whole. I recommend this movie to individuals who are pursuing or have a career in Psychology. There is great information to discuss about family matters and boundaries! :)

I couldn't resist buying this movie, especially at such a great price. You get the Blu-ray, DVD, digital copy & Ultraviolet copy! This is a really funny movie. It follows two characters that we are first introduced to in the hit movie "Knocked Up". The humor is adults only. And please don't watch this movie is you haven't seen the last episode of the TV series LOST-the ending will be spoiled for you if you do!

    Not a Light-Hearted Comedy, But Well-Acted!

When I first saw the previews and saw that Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann would star in "This Is 40," I knew it was a film I had to see! It is quite funny, although it is also extremely sad how much fighting there portrayed and how dysfunctional and sometimes unlikable the characters are. The film bombards you with real-life depressing situations faced by a couple who do not handle them well, so it is not the typical "escape" I have come to expect from comedies. It is definitely not a film to watch with your kids, but if you are a fan of Judd Apatow films and the talented actors in this movie, you probably will want to see it.

I thought this movie was suppose to be an addition to the knocked up movie, it kind of is, but I would have like to have seen more of those characters. Overall it is a rather funny movie. Great to put on when you need a good laugh or when you just need some mindless entertainment.

As a fan of most Apatow movies, I was expecting good laughs throughout. The movie delivered at the beginning but trailed off into too much drama towards the end. Were I expecting a drama, I would have given this a 5 but Apatow fans likely expect lighthearted comedy so I gave it a 4.

The first time viewing this film I didn't know what stood ahead of me. I was treated to one of the best comedies I have seen in my life. It's pleasant surprises like this that make renting movies so enjoyable. And then one day I'm walking thru Best Buy looking for the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album and see this DVD sitting in the $5 bin...unbelievable!!

Funny movie continuing the story of the supporting characters from Knocked Up. Rudd and Mann are hilarious. Just wish there would have been some reference to Heigl's character, since she was Mann's sister, and you figure she would make contact on her 40th birthday.

It was a great movie. After seeing "Knocked Up"... And a sort of "Sequel"; didn't meat my expectations. It was very dark and had funny moments, but not many. If you're expecting it to be as funny as "Knocked Up"... Let's wait for another Judd Apatow movie to come out...

Well this movie is a riot to both me and my wife. It really hits home with many of the basic ideas of reaching 40, and changes in your life, although they are of course treaty exaggerated in this movie. Love the way they portrayed it all, and love the actors that are in this movie too. Great job, great way to laugh at some of the things we all face in life.

Is a good movie. Has a good line up of actors that will make the movie for you if you have liked them in others. Would recommend for people into comedies at all.

Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann are a terrific pairing in this very funny adaptation of the trials and tribulations adults face around the age of 40. Director Judd Apatow is a master of his craft and once again made a film the whole family can enjoy. There are a couple of risqué scenes that may not be appropriate for children under 12.

After the disappointment of "Funny People" (a film that starred a lot of funny people but wasn't funny at all and ran about an hour too long), Judd Apaptow returns with familiar characters (from "Knocked Up") in a hilarious film.

This is a funny movie! It's actually hilarious! I suggest all the 35 year olds watch it and start freaking out over nothing. 40 is when you get your sexy back and while these two might not exemplify the totally hot and gorgeous version of 40 I'm used to they really are great and let's face the facts there is room in my king bed.

Judd Apatow should retire. He did good with Superbad and 40-year old, and knocked up. Enuff of your honest heartfelt comical excesses bullsh*t. Enuff enuff enuff. Still haven't watched this is 40, but he wrote a great book called sick in the head. Highly recommend that!. Only reason I got this BS video.

Very funny movie. Not as funny as knocked up but it is worth the watch. This movie is about what 40 something's most deal with:mortgage, kids, hormones, diet, expectations, etc. even if you aren't 40 still a great movie!

Got this movie as the funny part of my birthday gift for my husband's 40th. We could identify with so much of the humor as a married couple of this age with kids. Lots of total belly laughs for both of us!

This movie was pretty funny. I could watch this movie over and over again. So if you need a good laugh, then check this movie out. Might not be a good movie to watch with your kids though. Adult laughter only.
