I bought these on sale after searching other reviews for a nice Bluetooth speaker set to use with an Amazon Echo Dot. Once paired they pair perfectly on every powerup. The audio quality is very balanced and clean. The treble and bass control hinge frequencies are set high and low enough that turning them up has little effect on the midrange clarity. With the bass control turned up they have significant usable output down to around about 50hz without making male voices sound boomy. Turning up the treble increases the clarity and detail without increasing sibilance or other harsh sounding artifacts. I've been very pleased with these!

For the price and value these are great, have them connected to a Bluetooth turntable and they sound amazing. I can easy connect to my phone and sound is still great. Supports aux for laptop as well.

These speakers have a decent sound for their size, but they lacked the power for our needs. A good purchase if you get them on sale and have a smaller room.

The Kurbis Blue Tooth 60 watt speakers by Thonet & Vander provide a very even sound of the sound spectrum. The loudness (volume) is sufficient to be heard in several rooms. The range of the blue tooth signal is very good and perhaps better than advertised. Very nice sound reproduction. The speakers will only allow once bluetooth device to be received at a time. If you want to switch to another BT soruce you must first disconnect the current BT source(device) before attempting to connect a different BT device. This step takes a little time but the sound quality makes it worthwhile. The speakers can also be used by plugging wires into the back with RCA or mini plugs.

Loud and clean sound. I leave mine on so I always can play music from my iPhone. I had never heard of this company, but am pleased with the sound, quality, and ease of use.

Love these speakers! They have a very powerful sound and fill my room quite well with sound. Only drawback....no remote!

Not a well known brand but I found these to be exceptional speakers. So much so I purchased the next model up when they were offered on Deal of the Day.

I understand these speakers are meant for clarity, while sitting close. They produced very good highs and mids, but absolutely no lows. While I was not expecting deep bass from a 5" speaker, it sounded as if the cut off was around 200 Hz. I was disappointed with the lack of low frequency reproduction. Otherwise, great monitors.

These are great little speakers producing decent sounds.

I got these on sale and wouldn't have made the purchase if that wasn't the case. But I am glad that I did. They have a full sound when playing music and can get very loud. Traditional design with modern technology. You cannot use these for call mode in your phone, as with other Bluetooth speakers.

I have owned and used the Thonet & Vander Kurbis speakers for two weeks and they are awesome. I use them with my tablet, laptop, cell phone and believe it or not a small battery operated radio I'm using in my kitchen with a small Bluetooth speaker connected via 3.5mm cord. Every time I use the speakers they seem to sound better and better without the need to turn the volume all the way up. But I bought these speakers to use in my kitchen so I can turn them up and rock-out! I've tracked these speakers through another online vendor and Best Buy to see what people were saying across the board. The Kurbis speakers are loved by many. I appreciate that I can adjust the treble and the bass. That is not always an option on Bluetooth speakers. I am enjoying the sound from all my devices with these speakers. I still can't believe how great the battery operated radio sounds through these speakers. I didn't use the speaker cord that came with the Kurbis speakers. I have some extra Monster speaker wire that I used with my speakers in the living room. If I may I would suggest not using the wire that comes with the speakers. Buy some really good speaker wire and notice the difference in sound. Better wire, better sound. I have done this little trick for over 25 years of hooking up speakers and stereo systems. Thank you Best Buy for the great one day only price. At half price they were a steal! I ordered mine within an hour after they went on sale and they sold out before noon! A happy girl here, rockin' in the kitchen!!
