This legitimately a good movie with great box art work. Even though I hold nothing back on these reviews, I rarely get the points for doing them. That's the only reason I do these reviews is for the points. I will continue to post this disclaimer until Best Buy changes their policy on how people get awarded the rewards

“Thor” is the film that ultimately made me a fan of the character. When I was a kid, I just couldn’t get behind Thor, but this film convinced me about why he’s a hero to follow! Chris Hemsworth makes his triumphant debut as the God of Thunder and Tom Hiddleston makes his first appearance as Loki, one of the best developed villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The small town setting brings everything down to a personal level without losing the epic nature of the story itself.

Nice 4K movie another one for my personal collection.

4K is amazing. Three options, digital-Blu-ray-4K. Wish bestbuy still had movies

I really enjoy Thor's character in the marvel universe and I think Chris Hemsworth plays the role perfectly. Love learning about the Asgardians and their way of life and planet. Loki is a pain but, aren't all brothers!? Also really like Anthony Hopkins as Odin. Casted perfectly and the steelbook looks amazing!!

I've been a bit of a Thor fan most of my life. While we never had the financial resources that would allow me to buy comics when I was a kid, I got the ones I could and enjoyed Thor immensely. As an origin story, this is a good one. Falling behind Batman Begins and well behind Iron Man in my view. Still, great show, loads of fun. One star docked for Disney's continued insistence in not including Dolby Vision in the physical media. I'm really getting sick of that.

Do you like hammers? Do you like Shakespeareian dialogue? Do you find yourself wondering if they actually put laxative in Chipotle? This is the movie for you!!! You'll find yourself wondering why you ever picked up a weight in your life after seeing Chris Hemsworth with his shirt off. Good times all around.

This was and excellent movie and I recommend anyone to see this movie highly action pack special affects as well . I’m ready to see the dark horse I’m a true action hero fan and I really enjoyed this film marvel movies I really like especially the characters!! I give this film a ten!! A must see!!

Now I love the third one and it's real close but I give the nod to the first. Thor has a great cast featuring some great actor's. Tom Huddleston as Loki just about steals the show. This movie has it all, a good story and really good action with a touch of drama. Not bad for a comic book movie.

The first copy i got was busted but when I got the second copy when I returned the first it was busted again. I love that the Best Buy I went to went out of their way to find me a good condition Steelbook! Which they did! I will always come back know they care about their customers!

Looks good considering it's an older movie that has has been remastered in 4k. Audio kept me busy spotting the missing hard hitting bass where it had should've been. Steelbook looks awesome. I'm new to 4k so what better way to start my small evolving collection of steelbooks with MCU.

I enjoyed this version of Thor he looked more like Thor with dyed eyebrows and hair now it just looks like Hemsworth with a wig also he's too much of a comedy act now it's enjoyable but this is the Thor I enjoyed the most

One of the more underrated MCU movies. Keep the 4K re-release Steelbooks coming. However, it’s a shame Thor: Ragnarok doesn’t have a Steelbook to match the design of this Steelbook and Thor: The Dark World’s Steelbook. The outline of these Steelbooks is kind of colored like Mjolnir.

What a great addition to the collection...the artwork is sweet, really like those movie posters look. Picture and sound qualities of these 4k versions look better and sound more immersive over the blu-ray versions. Pick these up if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed.

A lot of movie goers claim that this movie isn’t good but I strongly disagree. This movie is great and really adds to the overall storyline for the infinity saga. Definitely recommend this for your movie collection.

Thor may not be the best MCU film, but it was a respectable and WORTHY entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chris Hemsworth has charisma (and abs) for days and is a fantastically cast as Thor. So many fantastic Thor centric characters are introduced such as Loki, Odin, and the lovable Warriors Three (Who deserved so much more time in the MCU). A definite must have for MCU aficionados, enthusiasts, and fans!

I'm a big fan of the "Marvel's Infinity Saga". I bought this as an upgrade to the BluRay version. There is a video quality improvement but it is small. Audio is also upgraded but like the video you need a TV/Projector and audio system that is up to the task.

I wasnt sure about this movie at first. I really didnt care if I saw it it not, but once I did I was pleasantly surprised. Chris Hemsworth's Thor is perfect. I wound up loving this movie. That is the reason I repurchased this re-release in 4k.

Been waiting for this movie to be included in some sort of box set, but I guess Disney/Marvel want to still charge full price for a movie that came out over 8 years ago... Anyway, this is a great movie. Not as much going on as the later films, but it introduces us to so many great characters. And the fact that half the movie takes place in New Mexico, doesn't hurt, either!
