I did enjoy the first one more, but this was still really good. I like how the first two are more straight forward and not so tongue and cheek as ragnarok was. Picture quality was fantastic, a tad bit softer than the first, but still gorgeous. Loki is awesome! Great looking SteelBook also!

The Thor movies in 4k look much cleaner than the bluray. Great Atmos sound. Cool Steelbook edition.

Beautiful artwork and finally a 4k release! I love the back cover art progression through the trilogy. In case you missed this movie, it’s filly recalled in a 3 minute spiel during Endgame. That’s really all you need of it.

Excellent movie. I have always enjoyed superhero movies and this is no exception. If you enjoy marvel universe movies then this is the thrill ride you have been waiting for.

This movie was better than the first movie. The plot was simpler and easier to follow. The action sequences were big and well orchestrated.

Thor:The Dark World, as part of the Avengers series is excellent ! Can't wait for part 3!

Despite many negative reviews of this movie, I do like this movie better than the 1st Thor. It's a good movie and if you haven't seen Thor The Dark World, you should and it's not a movie to disappoint.

Many people write off Thor: The Dark World as the weakest of the Marvel movies which I feel is a bit of an unfair critique. It expands on the Thor universe and takes us off world to visit other planets and see unique design elements. It does lean a bit too heavily on the comedy aspect and doesn’t do anything to fundamentally change the characters. It does feel that the sole purpose of the film is to introduce a new Infinity stone and doesn’t put enough focus on establishing the villain. With that said, if you own all the other movies on 4K, this is a decent set to own. You get the 4K disc and the regular blu ray. There are no new special features other than what we got with the original release. You also get an HD digital redemption code.

As with the other films re-released in 4k, this one looks overall very crisp and you can definitely tell the difference between it and the HD version. This one does not seem to suffer from the blurriness issues that the Iron Man upscales had. For what it is, it's amazing. There are a lot of upscales where you can see no difference in quality. This is not one of those. The packaging itself is wonderful. The artwork and borders go well together. Hopefully Ragnarok gets a re-release to match. Great addition to my MCU 4k steelbook collection. PS: Best Buy, please stop sending steelbooks in bags or mailers. They almost always get dented or bent and then I have to return them and wait for another. Just use a box.

I remember i went to go see the dark world back in thathers with my dad and step mom and we both love it, I thought it was a great movie and it a lot of action and it was dark movie compared to age of ultron, the winter solider, civil war, infinity war, endgame, Shang Chi, Black Widow, Loki, No Way Home, Logan, The Wolverin, Multiverse of madness

The storyline in this movie is not as great as the one present in the original THOR, but it is still very entertaining. The 4K image is also greatly improved over the blu-ray version. The detail levels and HDR colors are a definite improvement, and are a sight to behold. In addition, the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is able to "pop" for the majority of the film to an extent that is almost unprecedented in Disney / Marvel 4K films. This one is a clear winner in almost every regard, especially in comparison to the blu-ray disc. Highly recommended to all!

I had all the MCU movies in regular Blu-ray some had digital copies this one didn’t. So when I got into steelbooks and saw this new release I said why not! I really wanted a digital copy and I rather pay for disc/digital and a nice case instead of just a digital code. And since there’s probably no chance of a whole 22 movie infinity saga set I can settle with getting this and all other new 4K releases of the MCU movies with matching covers! I like this movie a lot and love the acknowledgement it gets in endgame (spoilers)

Thor is back with Natalie Portman reprising her role as Jane. They both end up at Asguard, because Jane got into something she shouldn't have. The dark elves made for an interesting villain and I thought it was cool how this movie ended up having one of the infinity stones the "Aether". Malekith made for a really good villain. He definitely made a real enemy out of Thor after what he does in this movie... NO Spoilers!! Love the steelbook of course!

Steelbook looks amazing. This movie "wowed" me all the way through. It really shined in 4k especially in dark scenes with bright special effects which I gotta say it looked way better than End Game in these type of scenes. Sound quality was also great. It utilizes the surrounds alot. Bass was on que. Hard hitting & alot of rumble. I'll rewatch it again when nobodys home & I'm able keep it at reference level without having to turn it down.

This movie is great, has amazing lines, fast action, really sets a nice pace. The sound is great, can't say enough good things about the sound, it has what you expect for the money you spend on a disk of this magnitude, the money they spent was well placed. You get high quality content. The CGI is so realistic you forget its CGI and just fall into the story and lose yourself in the emotion and staging of the drama and action.

It’s not as terrible as a movie as people make it out to be. I was worried that this wouldn’t get a 4K version because of the negativity surrounding this movie, but I’m glad I was wrong. However, it’s a shame Thor: Ragnarok doesn’t have a Steelbook to match the design of this Steelbook and Thor 1’s Steelbook. The outline of these Steelbooks is kind of colored like Mjolnir.

And as his evil half-brother, Loki, returns for Asgardian justice, a new threat rises. Also rejoining Thor are his fellow Asgardians, Lady Sif, gatekeeper Heimdall and Warriors Three, as they encounter mythical Norse creatures among evildoers.

Great movie, price was a little high, but nobody is selling 4k or bluray anymore so might be standard now.

If you are a fan of the Marvel movies and you love UHD TV viewing, this is a must-have for your personal home collection. Personally, the Natalie Portman character is a bit whiny for a Thor movie, but she's easy on the eyes. I think Kate Beckinsale could have owned that character. The limited edition Steelbook packaging is ultra cool as well.
