better than the first and much more battle scenes.

Its a good movie!!! Thor and Loki are awesome!!!!!

I enjoyed this better on second viewing. When I first saw it, I thought it was a sequel that added nothing to the overall story arc of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, I watched it again and feel it is a nice addition to the collection.

This movie wasn't one of the better movies in the MCU. If you're a fan of the series, then I'd recommend picking up for your collection. If you're a casual fan you can watch it/rent it and it isn't a must-own.

it's got marvelous audio and amazing 2D video, the 3D disc is nowhere near worthy of bragging. Hiddleston steals the show yet again, but Hemsworth is no slouch, adding welcome depth and dimension to a hero who could easily be all too flat. Bring on Thor 3

Was looking forward to a great popcorn flick. Not so much. It turned out to be inferior to the original. Hard to believe, but it moved at somewhat of a sluggish pace. While the special effects and sound were great, it wasn't enough to keep me entertained.

If you enjoyed the first Thor film, then you'll enjoy this one. The plot is a bit flimsy and the villains don't do much or have much of any kind of motivation. But the action is alot of fun the effects are great, and Chris Hemsworth is fantastic as Thor.

Hard to find 3d movie that you want to watch more than once and this is it. The collectors steel book case is great. I haven't had a chance to see the special features but very pleased so far and the price was right. (thanks for the exclusive Best Buy)

Seeing how this was a Marvel movie and how I want to continue completing my super hero blu-ray collection, it wasn't very difficult for me to make a choice of buying or not buying it. If it helps, I liked "Thor the dark world" more than "Thor".

The director of Game of Thrones does a great job bringing that gravitas to Thor2...but,as georgeous as it is i spots,there is always something lacking,character wise.. The VIDEO is great,the Audio,equally so. 3d?3/5 for immersion..

I love all the Marvel movies. Can someone tell me why on earth or Aasgard that this movie was NOT available in the combo pack containing the blu-ray, standard dvd, and digital/UV code? That is what made me mad the most about this movie.

If you liked the first one, Aswell as other Marvel Stufio's movies, you should like this one. As far as sequels go, it's better than the usual. The weaving in of all te other Marvel movies is a plus. Good choreography, plot, and CGA.

Its ok but forgettable and overall i odnt think its worh picking up unless your collexting the MCU

This is the second Thor movie. It isn't as good as the first one. I would recommend watching it if you have seen the other Marvel movies. The special effects are good.

Second least favorite Marvel movie. If you've never seen it is a definite watch so you know what happens in other movies. Loki is always great though

Far from the worst comic movie ever but it’s still pretty good! I’m not the biggest Thor fan so there may be a little bias here! Recommended if you like Thor!

This is a two hour homage to Marvel sequels and that the bad ones are still pretty decent. Needed more Kat Dennings, had just enough Loki, and there's nothing like a shot of an aging 50-something's male sagging butt.

Thor: The Dark World is, overall, better than the first. It continues many plot threads from Thor and The Avengers and even manages to set up Thor 3 and Gaurdians of the Galaxy. Recommended for any Cinimatic Marvel fan.

Let's start off with the 3D content of this movie. I enjoyed the 3D and thought for the most part it all worked. I don't think this movie had any gimmick pop out of the screen gags, but does show nice depth. The movie starts out painfully slow, and in my opinion ruins the movie. Once you get to the action the movie gets much more enjoyable, and there are even several plot twists to excite things. The final plot twist for me ruined the movie. I feel like all these comic book hero movies are following the same formula. They start off boring and end strong instead of giving the movie a more even and enjoyable pace.

The Thor movies (with the exception of Thor:Ragnarok) were some of the weaker films in the Marvel franchise, but are worth a look, regardless
