This truly is a real-life Metallica concert experience, on a college student's budget! The 3D effects are fantastic, and the story line (which plays between and during performances), though not having much rhyme or reason other than suiting the music it's set to provides visual entertainment throughout. Would highly recommend to all, including non-fans!

I originally saw the movie the first night it debuted in the IMAX theater and loved it since day one. I preordered the movie through bestbuy.com as soon as I could and it was shipped to me in no time. all of the 3D effects really makes you feel like you're at a live concert.

Nobody expected the plot to be inspiring, so we should consider this to be a 2 hour Metallica concert in 3D and that's a good thing. The band is in top form playing their favorites with a unique stage performance while a concert roadie encounters just about everything while trying to get a cannister of gasoline to a stranded equipment van. As a Metallica fan, this is perfect for me. I love the music. The 3D is beautiful. The sound quality is great.

Awesome concert and an interesting movie definitely make for a cool experience. The 3D is a plus and Metallica never disappoints with their collectors items! If you love Metallica, this will not disappoint. Get ready for some loud fun!

The set list was amazing, the plot was suiting for the purpose....excellent effects...didn't like the ending, but it is just my preference...I like concrete endings and not ambiguous like this one, but overall, amazing!!!

So I cant really rate this on acting and what not as this was a gift for my husband and did not care for it much personally. I can say its a great value. It comes with two lithographs, a bandana, like 4 dvds and its all in a pretty cool box set. It made my husband very happy and he is a die hard metallica fan. Worth the buy if your a big fan.

This movie is a must see for all Metallica fans, big or small. I was glued to the screen and couldn't stop drumming along to the music!

Metallica Through The Never is a great movie which is intertwined with a concert. Just sit back and enjoy. Nuff Said!

This was an amazing experience to see at home. The camera angles, surround sound, and story were awesome to see.

Saw this in IMAX 3D and WOW, now I can bring this performance home and watch it on my Epson 3020 3D projector and QSC 4,400 watt surround system. The field depth of the 3D is awesome especially during the tesla coil scene and all the lasers feel like they're are popping out at you. At the end I just wanted more out of this great band.

If your a true metallica fan you dont want to miss this movie. Great picture and sound and is amazing in 3D!
