I purchased the 4-pack because of the value it presented over buying a single Tile for $25. I planned to keep two for myself and give the other two as gifts. Being someone who never really loses their keys, but misplaces them in the house often..I thought this would be a useful tool to help me find them in those moments when I need to leave in a hurry (e.g. for work). In theory, this is a fantastic product. Long range Bluetooth signals keep contact with your smartphone when Tile is nearby, and as soon as you lose connection the Tile app records the location where the connection was lost in order to narrow down the search for the associated item. When Tile is back in range, it reconnects and can help pinpoint the exact location by using the interactive App. You can even send a command to set off Tile's built in alarm tone to help you find what you're looking for even faster. The problem is, the connection between smartphone and Tile is terrible. It often tells me that Tile is out of range even when the two are side-by-side. And the feature that allows you to find your smartphone by clicking tile twice...a joke! Good luck actually activating the alarm this way to help find your misplaced phone. All in all, it has been an expensive disappointment. I haven't even chosen to give the other Tiles away because of how poorly it has performed for me thus far. If you choose to drop some money to give this a shot, take a test drive and buy the single Tile for $25 first. You won't regret saving yourself the extra $40 of disappointment. P.S. The size of this thing is also pretty limiting. For a second generation model, they advertise it as being appropriately sized to fit inside a wallet. This thing is way too bulky to fit inside a Men's wallet. I could potentially see it being possible to fit inside a Women's clutch or larger wallet that is carried in a purse.

Works well. only lasts about a year (as described) should be designed to replace the battery.

easy set up. placed on keys and attache. Works well when I am in a hurry and lay one of these aside. find it and be on my way.

This chip is awesome now I have no worries for my important things like my keys and wallet.

I really like using these since we have had the tile product we never loose our phone or our keys, such a great product!

I love the tile. I got one for every family member. We always loose our keys and this product is the best for finding them.

I read about the tile tracker over a year ago and decided to purchased the four tile set for an overseas trip. I placed them in my luggage, backpack, and purse. Unexpectedly, I felt very comfortable knowing the tile was in these items and could be tracked if lost. I plan to purchase the thinner tiles for other items.

It was very easy to install iPhone app and set up the tile. Great features including being able to find either your tile from phone or vice versa. Decent volume when ringing the tile, though you might need to be closer to hear if it's in your wallet or buried in a bag. Also, it's important to note that these are only guaranteed to last one year, after which you can send them in for a fee to get a new replacement for a new unit that's the latest version. I hope the next ones are smaller!

Bought these for the grandparents. Helps them find keys, phone, etc. Works as described.

Works great! I have one in wallet, keys, car and even my dog collar. Easier and quicker to find my phone than logging into findmyphone (as long as it's somewhat close) and piece of mind to be able to see my home address next to all my items. I may have left my wallet in the car but that's ok since its in the garage...

this is a nifty lil device for people like me that can never find their keys.

great item. I keep mine attached to my keys. When I cannot find my phone, I click the tile and it rings my phone. A friend didn't get her luggage after a cruise. It took weeks to locate it (in a car rental shuttle's lost and found). If she had a tile in her lugage, she would have located it right away.

I got it as a gift and I love it. I got two sets of keys that I lose all the time. Now it is a lot easier to fine.
