I’m completely obsessed with my Tineco. It’s been a total game-changer! With a toddler and constant messes, I honestly don’t know how I lived without it. I did a lot of research before buying, and I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper model or switch brands. I’ve seen some reviews about the dirty water tank filling up quickly, but honestly, it hasn’t been an issue for me. It doesn’t fill up that fast, and even when it does, it takes just a few seconds to empty and pop back in. I have a large first floor with two bathrooms, a laundry room, a spacious living room, a medium-sized kitchen, a standard dining room, and a small hallway and I can clean the whole space on a single charge. The only downside is that it doesn’t do well with dried-on spots, but that hasn’t been a problem. Now that I can stay on top of cleaning so easily, I rarely have anything stuck to the floor anyway. Just buy it!

Having purchased this vacuum once before, I knew exactly what I was getting when I decided to buy it again. The suction power is incredible, lifting dirt and dust that other vacuums simply leave behind. I love how easy it is to maneuver around furniture and how light it is to carry up and down stairs. What really convinced me to buy it a second time is its durability. My first vacuum of this model lasted years with regular use, and I only replaced it because I wanted the newest model with a few additional upgrades. The build quality is exceptional, and you can tell it's built to last. If you're looking for a reliable, powerful, and durable vacuum, look no further! This vacuum has exceeded my expectations time and time again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a deep, hassle-free clean.

Complete game changer and goodbye mop. Did a lot of research and felt this was the best deal for the sale price. Gotta have the flashdry feature for minimum maintenance. Would say I only use max mode and it’s good for about 1000 sq ft before running outta water (on max). Would say over 1000 sq ft would need a refill midway.

The Tineco FloorWasher FlashDry Cordless 6 Series has a sleek, modern design that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. It is lightweight, making it easy to maneuver around the house, especially in tight spaces and under furniture. The build quality is solid, with durable materials that suggest the device will hold up well over time. The ergonomic handle and well-balanced body make it comfortable to use for extended periods. One of the standout features of the FloorWasher FlashDry is its powerful suction and efficient water-drying system. It effectively washes and dries floors in one pass, leaving them clean and streak-free. The dual-tank system keeps clean and dirty water separate, ensuring that you’re always washing your floors with fresh water. Just set the device to auto and the built in sensor will automatically detect the amount of dirt on the floor and will optimize the suction and water flow to maximize work efficiency and battery life. There is a manual setting for max suction if you want maximum cleaning power and not rely on the auto setting. The motorized brushroll does an excellent job of scrubbing away dirt and stains, even on tougher surfaces like tile and laminate. The Self-Propel Assist feature makes it easy to move the device as you just have to hold it and it propels itself forward. The FlashDry technology dries floors quickly, which is particularly useful in high-traffic areas where you need the floor to be dry almost immediately. The cordless design of the Tineco FloorWasher FlashDry adds a level of convenience, freeing you from the hassle of tangled cords and limited reach. The battery life is impressive, offering up to 35 minutes of cleaning time on a single charge, which is sufficient for most homes. The charging time is reasonable, and the device comes with a charging dock that also serves as a storage station. Operating the Tineco FloorWasher FlashDry is straightforward, thanks to its intuitive controls. The LED display provides clear information about battery life, water levels, and cleaning modes. Switching between different cleaning modes is easy, allowing you to customize your cleaning experience based on the type of floor and the level of dirt. The ios app also shows all of this information in an easy to read manner. The self-cleaning feature is another highlight, making maintenance a breeze. After each use, the FloorWasher can automatically clean its brushroll and tubes, saving you time and effort. Just place the FloorWasher in its base and press the self-cleaning button on the device or on the app and it will clean and dry itself in about 5 minutes. The FloorWasher is suitable for a variety of floor types, including hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl. It’s also effective on both wet and dry messes, making it a versatile tool for everyday cleaning tasks. While the FloorWasher is not completely silent, it operates at a lower noise level compared to traditional vacuums. This makes it a good choice for homes where noise is a concern, such as when cleaning while others are sleeping or working. One minor drawback is the size of the water tanks. While they are adequate for most cleaning jobs, larger homes may require more frequent refills. Additionally, the FlashDry technology, while effective, may leave very wet surfaces slightly damp, requiring a final pass for complete drying. Another drawback is that you will have to empty the dirty water container after every cleaning job and clean it out. While not a big deal, some people might find this tedious. I guess you could let the dirty water sit there in the container if its not full, but then you could get an odor from it. The Tineco FloorWasher FlashDry Cordless 6 Series is a highly efficient and user-friendly floor washer that delivers excellent cleaning performance across various floor types. Its powerful suction, quick-drying technology, and cordless convenience make it a great addition to any home. While it has a few minor limitations, such as the water tank size and final drying pass, its overall performance and ease of use more than make up for these. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile cordless floor washer, the Tineco FloorWasher FlashDry is definitely worth considering.

    Cleans great with some quirks

This is the first Tineco product I have used and was excited to try it out. Overall, I was very impressed with the cleaning of my tile/vinyl floors. Having a built-in vacuum cuts prep time as no need to really clean before using. Another time saver is not having to work/move around a power cord, and I found it to be very quiet in auto mode as well. It was very easy to put together, just slip handle into main body of unit. The charger is ready to go as well – just plug it in, I charged the unit overnight before using. While the unit charged, I installed the app and it’s easy to use allowing access to cleaning functions, etc. The cleaning brush was already attached. In use it cleaned the flooring extremely well leaving a very thin film of water in its wake - that quickly dried and didn’t streak, even on my darker tile floor. The transparent clean water/solution tank clips on the back side of unit and is easy to use, but I found the angle to fill a tad challenging – a filler cup might help. The dirty water tank is in the front and while transparent it is very dark making it hard to see though, but it is very easy to clean. Unit comes with extra brush, filter, cleaning tool, deodorizing/cleaning solution and transparent tray that fits in bottom of charger to prevent leaks from unit/brush. There are voice instructions given when using, charging, etc. - with volume being controlled in app. Using Auto mode, I cleaned around 500 sq feet of floor with one charge (about 35 minutes or so) and still had power left. I did have to refill the water/solution tank once but did not have to empty dirty water. There is an LED ring that lights up when using and changes color/suction strength if it encounters a “dirty” area it also indicates if using water only (red – blue) or solution (blue-red). It also indicates suction, has cleaning icon, battery level indicator. Using the mode switch conveniently located at top of handle you can select between Auto (default when starting) max or suction only. When done you just place the unit back on charger and a voice tells you its charging and to remind you to clean dirty water tank. This is where I made a huge blunder as I cleaned the dirty water tank leaving in sink to dry. I was scrolling through the app and noticed a clean option pop up. I selected it thinking it would take me to another screen/option – oh no. It started unit up (still had clean water attached with some solution left) spewing water all over the charger and floor as it tried to suction the water – with no tank. I shut it down and cleaned it up. I was surprised it allowed unit to run with one tank missing, doesn’t seem very safe – quirk #1. The cleaning brush/unit option did seem to work well though. I did intentionally “spill” some water and it sucked it up with no problem Quirk #2. When standing unit upright when using to temporarily stop cleaning (it turns itself off when upright) or to move it – the head wouldn’t lock. It appears there is a small plastic piece in the upper part of unit that fits into the head of unit to secure it. Once that part gets wet it just slips out. In trying to stand unit up while using (on) and it wouldn’t lock, the unit tried to skitter away from me. If I did perchance get it to lock the head would go flat against the floor when moving it - leaving a wet trail on the floor from the brush. I tried leaning unit back as far as I could, and it would still detach. This is the most irritating quirk. Quirk #3. Due to its design (probably to reduce the possibility of tanks leaking) the unit doesn’t lie very flat when using. This made it difficult to get under my pool table. The size of the head is somewhat small as well but that makes it easy to fit around toilets, and under obstacles, etc. Also, when using the head kind of “floats” over floor making it a tad challenging to steer sometimes. 2-year limited warranty I think the unit does a great job of cleaning and even with the quirks I look forward to using it and would recommend it giving it 4.5 stars.

    EFFORTLESS FLOOR CLEANING SOLUTION!!!

The Tineco Floor Washer Flashdry is a must have for anyone seeking a deep, efficient clean without breaking your back. This wonder effortlessly glides across hard floors, picking up dirt, grime, and even sticky messes effortlessly. So, let’s go over some of the features of the new Tineco Floor Washer Flashdry. SPECIFICATIONS: WET/DRY VACCUM WEIGHT: 9.5 LBS CLEANING WIDTH: 9.2 INCHES FLOOR TYPES: HARDWOOD, BARE FLOOR, LAMITE, TILE, ENGINEERED WOOD RUNTIME: 35 MINUTES THE UNIT COMES WITH AN EXTRA ROLLER AND FILTER CORDLESS DESIGN: First and foremost, the cordless design offers incredible convenience. No more tripping over cords or searching for outlets, just grab and go! The battery life is impressive, providing up to 35 minutes of cleaning time. I was able to wash our whole first floor, about 900 sq feet of space on max settings with about 50 percent of the battery remaining. Not bad at all!!! FLASHDRY: The first thing I want to mention is that this is a bit misleading when you read the advertisement. When I first read the advertisement, I was under the assumption that the machine would also dry your floors as well once you mop but that is not the case. The Flashdry feature has to do with the cleaning and drying of the roller, which is about a 10 min process from start to finish. The self-cleaning feature of this unit cleans the roller which takes about 5 minutes and then completely dries the roller which takes another 5 minutes, and you are ready to clean again anywhere in your home. I will mention that the unit does get a bit loud during the self-cleaning cycle, but does a great job cleaning up the roller and getting all the gunk out of the machine. PERFORMANCE: I must say that this is where this vacuum cleaner shines. The unit has 3 modes, Suction, Auto and Maximum. The suction feature is if you just want to vacuum an area rug or your floor without any water or cleaning solution, the auto feature automatically adjusts your suction and the water level according to the mess that you are dealing with. Lastly, the Maximum setting uses the most amount of water, suction and battery. I tested out the unit on all three settings and I preferred the maximum setting, which left almost little to no water on the floors. The other great feature of this unit is the edge-to-edge cleaning. I have another machine similar to this one but does not get anywhere as near to the edge as the Tineco. This unit is also self-propelled so there is almost no effort put into cleaning your floors. There also an app available for this unit which allows you to change the settings from water only to water with along with the cleaning solution, shows you the battery information, access to self-cleaning features and most importantly the firmware/software updates. Overall, the Tineco Floor Washer Flashdry Cordless has exceeded my expectations. It’s a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly cleaning tool that has made maintaining a clean home so much easier. I could not find anything on the machine that I was not happy with If you are in the market for a new floor washer, I would highly recommend giving this machine a try.

No More Manual Mopping For Me!

I must admit I’m a novice with this type of technology. I’m used to mopping the old-fashioned way. Which I highly dislike, as it takes a lot of setup, clean-up, and physical effort. When I stumbled upon this, I saw a possible solution to one of my woes. Seemingly a device that does it all; cordless 4-in-1 mop, vacuum, self-clean, and self-dry. Sign me up! TLDR/CONCLUSION 9/10: Great lightweight device that does an admirable job at mopping the floor and does a stellar job at cleaning up messes. You do not need to vacuum before using saving you time. Very easy to operate. Love the display as it is bright, tells you all you need to know, and the auto mode has variable suction and tells you when something is saturated. Battery is about 35 minutes; recharge time is about 5 hours. Small enough it goes in between the toilet. Dual Edge cleaning comes in clutch to get very close to walls giving you a deeper clean. Self-clean does great on the brush. Then manually cleaning the dirty water and filter is a breeze. Overall, I am a big fan of this thing. Does exactly what I wanted it to do. SETUP: 8/10. Instructions could be a bit more clear. At first, I thought this may be a daunting task. Thankfully, I was wrong. Everything goes together easily… except I’m not sure where the plastic tray goes… But outside of that everything is pretty user friendly and intuitive. It comes with some cleanser. They say to only apply that cleanser to the device. QR code on tank to buy more, which is appreciated if you heed that tip. You put a capful of it into the water reservoir and then fill the rest with water (of whatever temp you like, warmer is probably better). Meaning one bottle should last a long time. It has a vacuum already built in, so I did not vacuum beforehand or do any type of clean up as I figure that is the purpose of this device. Next you have four buttons for control. -On the front there are two buttons. One to turn on/off the device. The second is to change through the different modes. - On the back you have a wireless toggle and how loud the voice is. As this vacuum has a voice that will tell you what mode you are on if you so wish. I personally like this as it will say powered on/off, charging, cleaning mode, etc. At first this was very loud, I pressed the button once and then it was normal volume and I left it at that. I did not connect to wireless. As I didn’t see the point. - The one on the very top activates self-clean when on the charger. You will need to have some battery left for this to work. Additionally, it goes through battery quickly on this mode as it is using high suction. For example, I had about 30% of the battery, turned it on, went to 9% before I manually shut it off. But this does a great job of cleaning and drying the brush. Along with an admirable job at cleaning filter and tank to a lesser degree. Mostly, I see this as cleaning the brush only and you still need to manually rinse and remove debris from the tank and filter. Which is easy, just use your fingers (or the included brush, and some water. Last, you have a very large display on the device that will show you battery, how much suction, what mode you are on, any error messages, and my favorite, how saturated or unsaturated an area is (FlashDry). As when the device is pulled backwards it will spray water and when you move forward it will suck up and dry said water (or spill). When it detects something is dirty (or I think very wet) the ring around the display will turn red (like a speedometer) with 100% and green being fully clean/dry and red being 0% and very wet/messy. I personally love that function. Reminds me of Dyson’s variable suction power. As it will increase suction power the redder it is when on Auto Mode. You can also put it on full-bore mode if you want more manual control. HOW WELL IT CLEANS: Mopping 7/10 Keep in mind, I’m new at these vacuums so can’t say how they relate to others. But I cleaned my kitchen along with three bathrooms (all of which have not been cleaned in a long time, I’m ashamed to admit) in a single charge (about 20 – 40 minutes) and ended with 10% battery. The recharge time they report is 5 hours, seems accurate from my not accurate testing. Again, I did not vacuum beforehand or pick up any pet hair or anything like that. I just filled the tank and went for it. I felt like it was doing a great job at wetting the surface along with cleaning it. When I came to a dirty spot, I was able to run over it a few times and the vacuum would increase suction, and cleaned it quickly. Also, with you moving forward with the FlashDry tech it did a good job at mostly drying the area where it was easy to walk on that area a couple minutes after and it would be dry (and practically dry directly after). Which was neat to watch in real time. I don’t know if this is a pro or con but it filling up the dirty water tank took some time. I only had to empty that 1.5 times (All 3 bathrooms and kitchen are small). The bathrooms which were probably the most saturated I noticed the biggest difference. I loved the “dual edge cleaning” which means that you can get right up next to the wall (or whatever) and it cleans it entirely (no gaps) and this worked brilliantly. With it being on both sides made cleaning a lot easier as the spaces I was in were small, which would have made it very difficult if I only had it on one side. Also, small enough that it fits around my toilets without issues. In the end, the water was VERY dirty. My floor seemed quite clean (not the grout though), and there was a ton of hair that had built up at the top and in the filter. Which was nice as it didn’t put the hair and all that into the water. It was well separated which made it very easy to just grab that disgusting wet clump and throw it into the trash. I then put it on the self-clean (after it charged for a bit) which did a fantastic job at cleaning and drying the brush. Then I emptied the water reservoir and rinsed/cleaned the filter and dirty water tank. And left it to charge. Cleaning Spill 10/10. I also purposefully spilled some stuff. And it vacuumed and dried it very quickly and easily. Like, you spill some cereal or yogurt, or oatmeal and it will straight up clean that mess in like 10 – 20 seconds (don’t need to pick up the chunks). Granted you must fill the water tank, hit the spot, then empty/rinse the tank, go through self-cleaning afterwards. But still! Way easier and less resource intensive than cleaning it up yourself with paper towels. Honestly, probably the same amount of time. Top marks here. BATTERY 7/10: Again, 35 minutes, 5 hour recharge time. Enough for a quick job. But not a large or heavily saturated area as would need to recharge which takes a long time. Love that it has a built-in charging/cleaning dock though. But no where to store extra brush, cleaning brush, cleaning solution, or extra filter. But appreciated that is included. LIGHTWEIGHT + PULLS itself 8/10: Even with injury or being weak will be able to operate this device without much difficulty. MANUVERABILITY 7.5/10: When it is sitting straight up it is on but not rotating or spilling water, then you tip it and it starts to rotate. I enjoy that a lot. It is on a sort of ball mount allowing you to hit most corners relatively easily. But it is probably about 45 degrees. Around the same with tilt backwards. So if trying to go under a chair or something it won’t work well. But good design as that prevents spills of dirty/clean water that could damage the electronics. So, probably more of a pro than a con. BUILD QUALITY 7.5/10: Plastic, everything clicks together well, but not super tight. You can tell there are seals, but the seals aren’t super tight seals. So, I deducted some points. The screen is excellent though. Really enjoy that.

After years of using disposable wipes on swiffer-style mops, including wet ones, I figured there had to be a better option. We also have fairly new pre-finished hardwoods that we’ve only felt comfortable using water on to clean. That said, cleaning the entire floor would be nearly impossible by hand, so we largely vacuumed it for years. Enter this beautifully designed Tineco floor washer. I hadn’t heard of their brand before discovering this product, but the more I read up on them, the more I became convinced that they’ve been in this space for a long time, having designed most of the products in this category and undoubtedly learning and improving these machines a lot, over time. It shows, the machine just feels very well designed and considered. From the charging base to the button placement, everything works well and aesthetically it’s very professional and modern. __DESIGN & USE__ More on the design. The black and white color scheme looks great, with smooth curves and intentional design choices. By design, it’s complex, able to provide water, monitor how much it’s providing to the floor, and then suck it back out of the rollers and into a separate container. It connects to the Tineco app, largely for settings changes (more on that below) and in this model, has a charging dock that cleans and dries the brush head after use - definitely saving time. Everything you might want to clean is easily accessible, including the roller, which slides out with a flip out pull. - Handy! Auto mode worked fantastically on all of our surfaces. So well, in fact, that we felt confident using it on our pre-finished wood floor (as mentioned above.) Its soft roller seems gentle and It only leaves a small trace of moisture that quickly evaporated over 5-10 minutes. It’s a complete game-changer for us. While we will likely continue to use a traditional stick vacuum for most daily cleaning, our Tineco is essential for getting floors fully clean - Dirt, grease or oils, that you may not see, but build up on surfaces. And for tile, it’s completely replaced our disposable sweepers and wet pads. The display on the machine is fairly basic, but gets the job done. But my biggest (and only real) gripe is the voice that announces various states of the machine, like charging or starting, is very loud and from a lesser quality speaker. Luckily, you can turn it off within settings, which I did immediately. Now it’s silent - which is 100 times better. The self-cleaning cycle also took longer than I expected, about 8-10 minutes. While the machine is very quiet in use, the self-charging process in the dock is a bit louder, so keep that in mind. __MAINTENANCE__ Since water is involved, I was curious about just how much work it would be to maintain. We own an upholstery cleaner that acts in much the same way - and cleaning this floor washer’s components is very similar. In exchange for its awesome ability to truly clean floors, you will need to clean the dirty water tanks’ components after each use (unless you don’t mind stinky water). I’m completely fine with this, water is just this way. You have to take care to clean and dry things out. A ‘dry’ debris area within this tank collects pet fur and other larger things for removal. Luckily, the base does a great job of reducing the maintenance steps by taking care of the rollers. In my experience, the roller came out of the self-cleaning cycle almost entirely dry. I still chose to remove the roller and let things air out, but that’s all. Most of my effort was in cleaning the dirty water tank and airing out the fresh water tank. - Not bad. __OVERALL__ We were wowed by this device. We went years without realizing just how dirty our clean-looking floors were getting. And while it requires a minimum of cleaning the dirty water components after each use, it’s well worth it. The self-cleaning mode saves time, and now that we’ve used it (and a floor washer like this), I don’t think we’d want to live without one. The machine itself impressed us with its well-considered design and usability. I highly recommend it!

This Tineco Flashdry Cordless 6 is my first floor washer product because I had always thought they were a bit of a gimmick, joke's on me! Initially I was kind of skeptical of being able to vacuum and mop in one step with a "floor washer". Normally I use my Tineco cordless stick vacuum to first suck up all the small things on the floor and then take my swifter duster thingy to run across the floors and then break out the bucket and old school mop to clean them once a week. I have tile floors in the kitchen, bathrooms, and entry way and hardwood flooring in the living room and bedrooms. The only carpet I have are in the closets which never get dirty. I first read through the entire manual from cover to baack to ensure I did everything according to the manual as I've never had a floor washer before and didn't wanna screw anything up. It's a good manual and they provide lots of details about how to use the product. The assembly was extremely quick and easy. 1. Snap vacuum together there aren't any screws or bolts 2. Charge the vacuum fully which took only an hour or so as it was 70% charged from the factory 3. Pour 1 capful of cleaning / deodorizer solution and fill clean water with warm water 4. Make sure dirty water container is installed completely (snaps tight) 5. Press the start button (Begins in auto mode but I press again for turbo mode) 6. Optionally setup WiFi and download the app to your phone (Not fond of EVERYTHING needing an app, it works fine without the app) The mop is self propelled & pulls itself along the floor so you only need to pull it back or tilt the handle to make it go right or left while it pulls itself forward. Once you get the hang of it the floor washing is pretty straightforward. I moved all the furniture out of the kitchen except the refrigerators and went to work, a single fill of the cleaning solution did my entire kitchen, entry way and part of the living room. I had to refill both the clean water and dirty water containers only three times to finish the entire house. The floor washer did indeed vacuum and wash the floor in one step. The floors came out much cleaner than with my normal routine. Overall I really like this floor washer and I will use it every week. It does a great job of cleaning the floors, I may still occasionally use a wet mops to spot clean or cleanup a spill but for cleaning the entire room this floor washer does a very good job.

THE Stand-Up Floor Washer To Buy!

To start off, I already have the TINECO Go H2O XL series floor washer (you can read my review of that washer here on the Best Buy site), and while it wasn't exactly what I was looking for to use in my home, it DID end up being an awesome fit for our friend's business. It is perfect for one-and-done washings on a relatively small amount of floor space and on a daily basis. THIS TINECO Floorwasher Flashdry is the one you want if you have a home with more square footage and won't necessarily be cleaning the floors everyday (though that would be OK too). Comparing the two, which really isn't exactly fair, since I don't even think TINECO equates them to be necessarily equals (but I may be wrong), they both have the same battery run time and the same capacities for the clean/dirty water tanks. That's pretty much where the similarities end. So what is better, and justifies the price bump, on the Floorwasher Flashdry? Let me run it down: 1. More powerful drive and mopping: I still think that the MAX setting should be the default setting because the normal mode doesn't lay down enough solution to effectively clean in my opinion (at least if you aren't doing it every day). The Flashdry S6 seems to almost be enough on the normal mode but MAX is still the best. The Flashdry S6 will also darn near drag you around the house, it is so powerful! It's a good thing that it also feels more maneuverable and 'solid' than other floor washers and mops. It made it easy to go barreling around the house cleaning the floors. 2. Better Base Station: While I wish the base station on the Flashdry S6 had spots to store the cleaning brush, and extra filter/mop roller, it is more than made up for by it being a superior base station in all other respects. It is SOLID and won't move around easily. It also has the charger built in rather than having to plug in the vacuum separately. 3. Superior Self-Clean: The self clean and dry feature built in to the base station (and the floor washer itself) is FAR superior to any other power mop I've used before, by TINECO or anyone else. While it takes several minutes more than the self clean on the GO H2O XL, it also gets everything MUCH cleaner AND everything is dry afterwards! While you still have to empty and rinse the dirty water bin both before and after the wash cycle, you don't have to spend really any time on the cleaning system itself like you do on others. Once you load it up with more fluid, it is ready to go again. 4. Waste Separator: The addition of this one piece to the dirty water tank helps a ton in the cleanup of the device when you are done. I have a cat and on the GO H2O XL, his fur about choked the pump, but this time most of his fur was trapped in this plastic cage and just needed a simple wipe off and rinse. I liked doing that rather than dumping the dirty water AND his fur down the drain! 5. Suction Only Mode: This mode is nice if you aren't looking to lay down solution and have it sucked up but just want to suck up a spill on it's own. I tried it out with just some water on the floor (don't need to make an ACTUAL mess), and it worked nicely to get it all up. This will be awesome the next time we have a backup in our dishwasher and it leaks everywhere! Ok, so what are the 'Meh' parts of the Flashdry S6? There aren't a ton but I do have a few. 1. Same capacity for both battery/solution/dirty water: This thing should have a bump up in the capacities for ALL of these things for the price (IMHO). The battery capacity may not be more, but I do feel that I was getting better use time, so maybe the S6 IS better at managing the power it has. 2. Display: I wish that the display had a button or was touch sensitive so that I don't have to pick it up and put it back down on the base station to see the charge status. I also don't care about it telling me how dirty or clean the floor is (via the colored ring around the display). It seemed rather arbitrary to me since I cleaned up an obviously dirty section and it showed still as blue, while on an area that looked pretty clean, it showed red. I don't know, weird. There is only one thing that I actively DON'T LIKE on the Flashdry S6 and that is the Wi-Fi connectivity set-up. It should not need my location or anything else to hook into my Wi-Fi system. Fortunately, there isn't anything really critical needed from the App but still. If there IS some reason why that connectivity is needed, then TINECO does not do a great job of highlighting that in the enclosed documentation. In light of other issues with 'smart' devices, I think I'll leave my floor washer in 'dumb' mode. Overall, I'm really pretty happy with the Tineco Floorwasher Flashdry. It is far easier to use and to maintain than my previous floor washer and is nicer than any manual system I have as well. For me it is worth the bump in price for the features it adds.

This vacuum has opened my eyes to what mopping use to be. This vacuum makes those deep clean days a breeze for a variety of reasons. These reasons include, portability, build and ease of maintenance. First and foremost this Vacuum does provide the deep clean that is mentioned in the description. The scrubbing tool that does the work is, what looks like a paint roller. It rotates and really does a nice job scrubbing up wet (or dry) messes. The reservoir inside holds an adequate amount of water and cleaning fluid too which minimizes the amount of need to refill and resume. The build of this is sturdier than i had expected too. This plastic charging base is solid and does not give me cheap vibes and the vacuum it self is rugged and seems to be able to take a spill if needed. The battery on this vacuum is said to charge to 100% in 4-5 hours which is the amount I expected and did not die on my while cleaning my main level of my home. Lasty the cleaning and maintenance of this vacuum is amazing. The reservoir and link/solid waste trap pops out in a snap and can easily be cleaned under water. There is annoyance of taking the entire vacuum apart to one hidden lint trap. All in all, if you need a ruggedly build vacuum and is portable and easy to clean and upkeep then this is strong recommendation for your needs.

Tineco has been making floor cleaners since 1998, and been busy at work trying to bring as many features as possible to their line of quality vacuums and washers. The Flashdry vacuum is a great choice for virtually any non-carpeted floor in your home. Even though this is marketed as a wet/dry vacuum it is not recommended to use this without water/solution in the system as it can lead to mechanical issues. Because of it's design it is also not recommended to try to vacuum up large chunks of debris on your floor, like paperclips or shreds of paper and such. Which, these are all things that you would normally pickup by hand while using a regular vacuum cleaner anyway. The vacuum works great for spilt cereal, small snacks, and general dirt tracked inside from shoes. Because of the thickness of the roller and the way the vacuum pulls debris from it, almost none of the stuff getting vacuumed up gets thrown around or pushed away, which can easily happen with other types of dry vacuums. The best part of this design is that it uses edge to edge technology for better cleaning along the edges of walls. Plus the cleaning head is low enough to fit under our fridge door and cupboards.  The unit is a little over 20lbs and is somewhat compact so it doesn't take up too much space where ever you decide to store it.  The unit has a led display clearly placed at the top of the main section for easy viewing during use. The vacuum also has voice cues to indicate what mode you are in, or additional instructions. The volume and language can be changed by the button on the back of the handle above the speakers.(this can also be changed on the app) The power and mode buttons are on the front of the handle. As soon as you power the unit on it's ready to go. Just tilt the handle downward in the vacuuming position and the motor kicks in. You can feel the vacuum pulling you forward right away. If you are not ready to move yet, simply pull it back towards you, or return the handle upright. It defaults to "Auto" mode, here it will auto sense how dirty an area is and then try to adjust the roller, solution, and suction used. The glowing ring around the LED display will change to red if it senses a dirty area, and then blend back to green once it is clean.  You can manually select the "Max" mode for spots that you feel need extra attention, or the "Suction" mode to try to dry wetter areas.  The display will indicate when the water/solution tanks need to be filled or emptied with the appropriate icon. This will also constantly show the unit's battery life and floor cleanliness. Tineco uses it's proprietary term "iloop" to detect debris. It is unclear exactly what technology is being used hereto determine the amount of debris, but so far it seems to be pretty accurate. A lot of other machines use Piezoelectric sensors to measure resistance and detect different electrical impulses of the incoming air or water flow. I called Tineco, but they were unable to offer me any specifics about what sensors are being used. I even scoured the internet with no answers to be found. While the vacuum roller does great at picking up loose debris, both solid and liquid. It does struggle a little bit with stuck on dried goop. A dried spot of jelly took me a few minutes to get up. A good portion of it was removed within the first couple passes, but I had to let the rest of it soak for a bit before it was completely removed. I did have a few stubborn spots of gunk on the floor that I actually needed to get down to and scrub a bit for them to come up, but with that amount of effort, I don't think probably any floor cleaner would have gotten it on its own.  They also mention not to use other solutions in the water tank but Tineco's because it might impede the actual performance based on the amount of surfactants, enzymes and foaminess. It is also not recommended to vacuum up other sudsy cleaners used on the floor for harder stains, as their foam could interfere with the suction to the dirty water tank. The cleaner can run for about 30 to 40 minutes based on its need to increase power consumption for heavier debris areas. It only takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge the cleaner from dead status. The base for the Flashdry unit not only charges the unit, but also creates an enclosure around the roller to aid in the self cleaning and drying cycle. If used properly and as recommended this floor cleaner will help keep your floors clean and odor free for a long time.  I personally love the ease of use for this in our kitchen, which is our highest traffic room. Before this vacuum I used to only wet clean the floor maybe once a month because of the effort involved. I would vacuum every week but I hated getting out the mop. The Flashdry wet vacuum is a dream come true. IT vacuums and wet cleans the floor in the same effort, and does a pretty good job at both. We have 2 cats that add to the kitchen floor debris with their food and water dishes as well. This takes care of everything and doesn't get messed up with the cat hair either. Cleaning the machine is pretty easy with the self cleaning base and pop out waste water tank. The waste water tank has a removable filter and solids separator. The solids can be knocked out into the trash can or wiped out with a napkin, and everything else can be rinsed down the sink. I must say that I actually prefer this way more than taking a bagless vacuum and dumping tons of dust into the trashcan, which ends up recirculating into the air anyway. With this vacuum everything is wet so no more floating dust coming back into the room while emptying it out.  So far this vacuum has worked great, It's so easy to use, and the floor dries so quickly after using it that I find myself grabbing for it every day.

Great for Hardwood Floor and Tiles

I’ve been using Tineco products for almost a decade and this is a popular brand when choosing for mopping solutions. The FlashDry 6 combines vacuuming and mopping into one great device and I’ve been cleaning the house using the product. My house has hardwood floors and tiles, which makes vacuuming not entirely effective. The FlashDry 6 is an all-in-one cordless solution; it gives you pretty much everything you need to start mopping and vacuuming: extra brush roller, a bottle of deodorizing and cleaning solution, dry filter, cleaning tool and of course the drying and charging dock. The cleaning solution is mixed with water and it’s great that Tineco provides a bottle, which should last for more than several months. The cleaning mix is contained in the clean water tank. Unlike a regular vacuum cleaner, the FlashDry 6 not only sucks dust and dirt but also mop the floor with the wet brush roller and interestingly, excess water is being picked up by the machine and contained in the dirty water tank. I’m happy with the results as the brush roller is effective enough in removing persistent dirt on the kitchen tile. Of course, there are some hardened dirt that only scrubbing would be able to remove them. The roller is wide enough and it cleans from edge-to-edge, which makes every cleaning job easier and more effective. Using the device is quite easy, there’s an automatic mode, which would make the machine to operate in accordance to its optimum setting. Mopping the floor with the device is super easy and quite effortless as the Self-Propel Assist feature works well. The device is also lightweight so you can maneuver it quite easily. The noise isn’t bad and the air filter works very effective as vacuuming leaves no smell of bad air. This device has a speaker system that is loud enough to inform us when the clean water tank is finished. It also tells us which mode we are using when cleaning; not entirely necessary as the LED screen is big and informative enough for that purpose. But it does leave a good impression that this is not an ordinary cleaning device. The charging dock works flawlessly to charge and dry the device. The only thing that I don’t like is that the cleaning solution mix in the clean water tank will deplete quite fast and needs refilling every couple of jobs. My other vacuum cleaners, in comparison, need much less attending. The dirty water tank also needs regular cleaning but not as frequent as the clean water tank. Tineco rated 35 minutes of use before the dirty water tank needs to be cleaned so that translates into several cleaning jobs depending on how large your house is. It’s not a big deal because all in all, what really matters is the performance and this device performs satisfactorily. You know it’s doing the job well as you walk on the floor in barefoot. I won’t be getting back to regular vacuum cleaner when cleaning hardwood and tiles.

Making it fun to mop again

While some companies are making multifunctional cleaning devices, the Tineco does one thing and one thing well - mop floors. It’s incredibly easy to use, relatively low maintenance, and works really well. The only drawback to me, is finding another spot for yet another cleaning appliance in the house that’s near an outlet (eliminating closets for me). IN THE BOX AND SETUP Inside you’ll find the mop, a handle, charging base, plastic cover that the mop sits in on the base - which can be removed for cleaning, a bottle of solution, an extra filter, an extra mop brush, and a cleaning brush (that looks like a bottle cleaning brush). There’s a manual included, as well as a quick start guide printed on the inside of the box. Putting everything together takes little time and effort. The handle snaps in (although you have to use a screwdriver to take it off) and the plastic cover fits nicely into the charger. DESIGN It feels weird talking about the design of a floor mop, but this is really smartly designed, intuitive, and looks good. Removing the bins and emptying/filling up the bins is intuitive. The design of the display on the body of the mop is bright and easy to understand. It shows your battery charge while mopping (and it does go down rather quickly, but you’ll get 30-40 minutes of use per charge). Frankly, everything is intuitive and it makes a chore feel a little bit less like one. PERFORMANCE I thought it would be annoying to have the device have verbal prompts, but I ended up really liking it. When you put it on the charger, a verbal prompt states that it’s charging. When you change modes between max, suction, and auto, a verbal prompt tells you. When you’re done using it, a prompt reminds you to clean the dirty water bin. But on to the performance. I was extremely pleased with the results. I have hardwood floors and three kids and they’re constantly dropping, spilling, stomping things in the kitchen. This mop won’t pick up anything that’s dried up and crusty (I had to scrape it up first) but it does a fantastic job of cleaning up liquid spills. You will be surprised how dirty the water gets in the dirty water bin, especially when you think your floors aren’t that dirty - at least I was. Similar to a lawn mower that self propels, this mop pulls forward. It makes it super easy to glide across your floors. It doesn’t soak the floors, in fact, it’s cleaning while sucking up the water as it goes. It will leave a small layer of water (you can see it as you mop) but it dries within minutes. Much better than an old handheld mop where you had to wait a little bit for your floors to dry. I love that it sits on the dock ready for use at a moment’s notice (assuming you have some cleaner and water in it). I find myself cleaning the floors much more frequently when I can grab it off the charger, mop really quick, and put it back. All with minimal fuss. MAINTENANCE One of the things I always look for when buying a vacuum or other cleaning appliance is the maintenance? For example, robot vacuums require more maintenance that a typical vacuum, primarily because of the small dustbin and need to frequently change/clean filters. And with anything that requires cleaning solution, how much does it use and how expensive is it? Luckily it comes with an extra filter and brush, so I anticipate that lasting a while, but what about the solution? Luckily you only need a capfull per tank of clean water, so the included bottle will last you a while, and a 33 ounce bottle will set you back $25. All in all, I think the maintenance cost is pretty minimal which is a big plus. In addition to cost, there’s also the issue of time. It’s recommended that you empty out the dirty water tank after each use. That’s to prevent odors. Luckily, in most cases it can be rinsed out and air dried. It has some crevices where I was afraid dirt might accumulate, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. There’s also the self-cleaning feature of the brush. This is automatic - and quick - but you will need to clean out the removable plastic tray that rests in the charging base. So re time spent maintaining the cleaner, it’s pretty minimal. I give Tineco high remarks in that department. MISCELLANEOUS I wanted to add that there is an app that you can download and connect to your mop. I’ll be honest, I didn’t download it, I have enough apps on my phone and I’m not convinced it’s worth the effort of connecting it. But the option is there. You can also turn off the verbal prompts if you find them annoying. The self cleaning feature is nice, essentially the mop will sit in the dock, spin the brush and clean the mop head. It didn’t take long at all. A feature I really like as it minimizes the maintenance issue I have with cleaning appliances - there’s no cleaning it by hand after each use. The only two downsides are that you have to find a place for it near an outlet. Some houses might not have any issues depending on your setup. Others, like me, basically have it sitting in a corner. At least it’s not ugly, and frankly, I don’t mind it, but I might consider moving it when having people over for a social gathering. It’s not something you’ll want to put away in a closet when not in use - and not charging - although you could, it just takes away from the convenience. The other minor gripe - and this likely applies to any such mop, and that’s needing to empty the dirty water bin after each use. I don’t mind it, it’s easy to clean, and while it’s not technically necessary, the mop prompts you to do it to prevent the build up of odors. CONCLUSION All in all, this brings back the fun in cleaning. At least as much as possible. Cleaning isn’t fun, but when you have tools that make the job easier and more efficient, it’s a boon. Not to mention, it works extremely well.
