Not Great for Homes with Curly-haired People

I had previously purchased a non-auto emptying tineco and thought it did a good job on all my hardwood floors, especially in picking up human hair. I had been researching vacuums with the auto empty feature and decided to upgrade to this model. It does a decent job in vacuuming, although more power/suction from the side would be helpful. I love the light son the vacuum and the runtime for the battery is more than enough to vacuum my entire 1900 sq. ft. house. Unfortunately, this system absolutely struggles to automatically empty human curly hair. I have medium-length curly hair and the automatic station cannot efficiently empty it--not even small amounts of the hair. It tangles, clumps, doesn't allow other debris to empty. The back of the vacuum doesn't close properly after the auto empty, there is always hair hanging out of the back of the disposal bin when I lift it off the charging station. It is very disappointing, especially with the expense of upgrading to the auto-empty feature. This model does have a pet hair feature and I have tried to use that to see if it would empty better, but the results are the same. I find myself manually empty the dust bin rather than being able to use the auto empty feature. I would not recommend the auto-empty feature for anyone with hair!

Stick vacuum

So far it works great. I like the AutoEmpty feature so every time I use it its empty. The old one I always have to empty it because I don't think my children empty it. I just got a rubber mat to put it on. I got this one to replace the LG one I had.

Nice vacuum

Vacuum seems to work okay. Very pricey for what it is. I guess you pay a big premium for it to be wireless. There is a button on the top that says press for 3 seconds for pet grooming mode. I don’t see how you are supposed to groom a pet with this vacuum. The manual says that function must be used with a "FURFREE KIT" but there are no pictures or information as to what exactly this kit is. I can't find it on their website. Their customer service has been absolutely no help in finding this information. After presenting the question 3 different times I still have no answer and no new information. I don’t believe their customer service understands English very well.

The vacuum quit working ( turned off mid vacuum and never turned on again) after 1 year and 3 months. The second Tineco I've had to endure the same fate on the same timeline. When it worked it was a good vacuum, but it's too pricey to be replaced every 15 months.
