We bought our PureOne S11 a year ago and love it so we bought our daughters a PureOne S12 for Christmas. One of the S12 didn't work out of the bought but my daughter is working with Best Buy to get a replacement.

This is by far the best quality vacuum on the market hands-down! The power instruction is incredible. Having the extra filter in the filter cleaner, makes keeping the maintenance done a breeze.

Tineco vacuum's iLoop is a game changing technology and Tineco went it all-in on technology in building this hi-tech vacuum. If you love technology, you would admire this vacuum cleaner on the amount of digital information it offers. Tineco has combined the robotic floor vacuum and high end vacuums functionalities and features into this Pure S12 EX model. If you are ready to splurge on a high end vacuum that can offer powerful suction and amazing features, Tineco would be the obvious choice. I just compared the noticeable features and main aspects of Pure S12 EX with respect to two other name brand stick vacuums that I own, which are also in the same price range Suction power: I felt that had a higher suction power than my other name brand one when cleaning the carpets with the direct drive tangle free power brush, but definitely beats my other ones on hardwood floor cleaning when using the soft-roller power brush. I liked the fact that iloop color changed from blue to red as I cleaned giving me some indication that I need to do multiple pass to pick up all the dust from my rugs. With a 500W powerful motor you have variable suction power at your disposal that comes in handy when cleaning your cars and trying to get into corners and crevices. I prefer to set the suction power on Auto and let the vacuum adjust the suction power in real time to clean various surfaces but did use the slider bar when cleaning my car as I wanted max power to suck dust and debris from underneath the seat and the unreached corners. I liked the fact that it came with a trigger lock (for continuous power lock) to keep the vacuum running which was very handy while I was cleaning my car and didn't had to worry about holding the trigger during cleaning, good thought Tineco! Cleaning: This is on par with my other vacuums when it comes to picking up fine dust, pollen, pet dander, etc. from my carpet, upholstery, and rugs. I can compare this to my wired high end vacuum that I usually use once a month to pick up the fine dust and pollen from my carpet and upholstery. I can attribute this to the auto suction power capability as I saw iLoop change from blue to orange/red when I was deep cleaning my rugs. This gave me an indication that I need to clean my rugs more often. Also, the powerful LED lights on the two powered cleaning heads are handy when cleaning under couches and beds. I prefer this one compared to my other vacuum when cleaning hardwood as it had rubber wheels and doesn't scratch my hardwood floor. Battery Power: It came with 2 Li-Ion batteries and I used one for about 60 minutes and still had about 25% battery left in it. Extended battery power is a must if you have to clean your entire house and the spare battery comes in handy for extended cleaning. My other stick vacuum's battery usually lasted about 45-60 mins max Accessories: Tineco came with more accessories than any another vacuum I ever owned (have 8 in total). I am a big fan of accessories that I can attach to the stick vacuum to clean my PC, Keyboards, air vents, crevices and corners, couches, etc. Wall mount is handy, but hate to wall mount the 3 different vacuums I currently own, so I chose not to use the mount option other than to charge the battery. Noise and Weight: This one is relatively less noisy than my other ones as I am not constantly running my vacuum on max power and this is super light compared to my Shark and weighs about the same compared to my Dyson stick vacuum. App: The app has some good information - shows the usage history, pretty much like the robotic vacuums app features, battery life, filter maintenance, etc. Definitely recommend trying this vacuum if you are looking for a high end stick vacuum that has better or on par features and functionality compared to name brand ones. I was a little skeptical when I saw the price tag on this vacuum but changed my opinion after comparing this vacuum against the name brand ones that I currently own. Can’t comment on the durability as I only had it for only a week.

I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. For $275 , rhe vaccum is a great alternative if not better than a dyson. Highly recommend ..

I use this regularly in place of my heavy duty Kirby sweeper. It stores easily, it's easier to use do to it cordless portable nature and works well on my wooden and carpeted flooring.

Awesome machine...great attachments. Wish it came with the soft roller.

Overall, I love this vacuum. Picks up pet hair and dirt very well. The only downside is that you need to empty the container often.

A very good battery operated vacuum. This replaced my Samsung jet 70. The brush head assy. is much better and more robust. Happy so far!

Full admission, I had never heard of Tineco before giving the PureOne S12 EX a whirl. That said, I am glad I know who they are now. This vacuum gives my Dyson V11 a serious run for its money. The Tineco PureOne S12 is very different than the Dyson in that it is a 'smart' vacuum. The vacuum connects to your WiFi and phone or tablet via an app. It displays how much dust you are collecting between runs, battery life, filter wear, and how full the dust bin is. What I have found is that it is at best something 'fun' to check out, but serves little real world purpose. The PureOne S12 does have Tineco's iLoop technology to allow for a pretty great auto mode for controlling the suction power. iLoop monitors the dust being collected and will ramp up or down the suction power to ensure great vacuuming with the battery in mind. I have been using the S12 for the last week on carpet, hardwood flooring, and tile with a house consisting of three kids and a dog. The S12 does a great job. For a test I vacuumed the living room carpet where the dog lays and sheds quite a bit. I made a single pass in auto and then went back over it with the Dyson V11 to see if the Dyson might pick up more. The Dyson came up empty. A great sign for the S12 and a full dust bin made a pretty convincing argument. This leads me to my one big problem with the S12.... the dust bin. The dust bin is super easy to open with a small button on the side which pops open the bottom. The problem is that unless you are only vacuuming up dust I couldn't get it to empty without sticking my hands in and pulling out the contents. This happened every single time I used the unit. This is not a problem I face with the Dyson and it makes what is a pretty great vacuum into a bit of a pain to use. The dust bin isn't that large to begin with and so emptying it multiple times during a cleaning becomes a chore when I have to get dirty to empty it each time. Most likely this is an issue thanks to the pet hair. I am sure that if you are in a house without pets it is far less of an issue. Just keep this in mind if you do though. Battery life has been great and I can easily vacuum the main floor of the house (2200 sq ft) on a single battery. Which reminds me, the unit comes with an extra battery which is super handy if you have a very large house or forget to put it on the wall charger (like my kids have done). Another great thing is that the power head has a light on it. That is one thing I have sorely missed on the Dyson and am very pleased to find on the S12. Having one again was a revelation when doing the hardwood floors as it highlights the dirt versus just using the overhead rooms lights. Really boosts the cleaning satisfaction as I feel like things are actually getting cleaned up. Overall, the Tineco PureOne S12 EX is a great competitor to the Dyson V11. I can easily recommend it with the one caveat being the dustbin. Don't get me wrong the S12 does a great job with pet hair it just takes a little more work to empty it. If you don't have pets I would say this is a super easy recommend. Show up for the great suction power and solid battery life. I just wouldn't consider the connected 'smart' features as a reason to consider it.

Decent enough vacuum but not very good on high pile carpets or thick rugs. Requires a lot of elbow grease to move around on it

It crapped out twice in the 10 months we’ve had it. It also does not feel as ergonomic as the cordless Dyson. Although technically under warranty, I am going to bite the bullet and buy a Dyson without going through the warranty process.

It’s alright for what it is but I was disappointed in the battery performance. I mainly wanted it for getting in corners and little small spots. I tried it on my carpeted area in my house and it was hard to push. I honestly preferred my little 89.99 shark to this model. If I had not got it on sale i would definitely have returned it.

I would rate this lower if I could. Poor suction, not too bad if run on "Max" power but then battery lasts maybe 15 minutes. Have to run over larger food particles multiple times and then later they may fall back out. Complicated cleaning process with filters. Absolutely horrible customer service from Tineco; advertise 2 year satisfaction guarantee but won't honor this if purchased through Best Buy. Best Buy guarantees for 2 weeks. $400 wasted.
