When I first saw Titanfall 2, I thought it looked great. I had always wanted to play the original on ps4, so I was excited. However, money for games was tight, so I decided to wait for a sale. Lo and behold, the game went on sale for 20 bucks for GCU members yesterday. I picked up the game, played it, and loved it. The first 2 levels of the campaign are fantastic, and serve as a great introduction to the frenetic multiplayer, where the majority of the appeal lies. Multiplayer is fast, thrilling, and non stop action. Infinite warfare has nothing on titanfall.

B.T. and the campaign make this game 100% worth playing. Obviously the graphics and effects are incredible, but the innovative gameplay made this like no other first person shooter I've ever played before. Add in a surpisingly good story between your character and your Titan, B.T., and Titanfall makes for one heck of a ride. My only big negative is the Titan Loadouts. There are almost too many of them, and you don't really get a chance to get comfortable with one until they drop a new one in your lap. I often caught myself finishing levels, then realizing I hadn't used half of the loadout's capabilities. Maybe this is something more useful in multiplayer, but it was implemented just so-so in the campaign. Regardless, Titanfall 2 is a must buy for even casuals FPS fans.

I have owned this game on Xbox One since a little after launch, but I have friends on PS4 that play as well. When it went on sale, I figured why not. The game is so much fun, and playing with more friends is enough to justify having it on both consoles. The single player is probably the best single player campaign of 2016 aside from Uncharted 4. The multiplayer has a lot of modes to choose from, and you can spend your whole night in the Mixtape Playlist so you get a good variety of modes on the fly. Oh, and all game altering DLC (i.e. maps) is free.

    The best FPS this year

An amazing single player campaign and arguably the best sci-fi multiplayer FPS out right now. I bought Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as well. I've played all three games and cannot recommend Titanfall 2 enough, even if you already own the other two. If you have to choose one of the three, Titanfall 2 is absolutely the one to go with. Despite being more than worth the full price right out of the box, all future maps, weapons, and other "game altering" DLC will be free. Something that can't be said about BF1 or CoD:IW.

The fast paced gameplay combined with the variety of playing as a pilot and a titan helps set this game apart from other first person shooters. The campaign in this game was thoroughly enjoyable, although I wouldn't have minded if it was a little longer. Online play is quite an improvement over CoD type games where people camp and snipe. With momentum being a big part of this game, players that try to camp don't last long. Overall, this is a very enjoyable game that helps shake up the notion of a typical first person shooter.

Well put together single player. Great graphics. Took about 7-8 hours to beat the single player. Multiplayer is about the same as the first Titanfall. Excellent game especially for the price it has fallen to.

Titanfall is a great game whether you prefer solo game play or multilayer action. Everything you do really feels rewarding, whether you're the best or just an average player. In the campaign mode, you're put in the middle of a great story, and everything seems to make sense. The multiplayer has several variations and maps, from pilot versus pilot to Titans and pilots fighting alongside each other. It has a good mix of close-quarter combat scenarios as well as large, long distance areas suited perfectly for Titan combat.

I went into this game not expecting to like it as much as I did. I've never been a fan of CoD type games, but this one really hooked me. I went as far as to platinum it. Fast paced and very fun. The single player campaign had a short but entertaining story with very likeable characters. Really looking forward to the next one. The multiplayer is really rewarding and lots of fun, especially when you call down your titans. There's even a hoard mode now. Can't recommend this game enough.

I was very pleased with the first Titanfall so I was really stoked about getting this sequel. I was quiet happy with single play version of this game. It kept me locked on and interested in the story line and has a good balance of human mode and robot mode. Will robot mode is stronger, you can not totally depend on it and the single player story line makes sure of it. The multiplayer has good balance as well. I haven't played any other multiplayer game modes other than attrition but the game mechanics are good.

I purchased it when it was on sale. My friends and I used to play battlefield all the time and decided to give this one a try. A lot of fun when playing with friends online, I didn't try the single player yet.

I would recommended, Great and intense robot battle in campaign and multiplayer but doesn't offer anything new that you haven't seen in other FPS games like COD, Battlefield, Wolfeinstein or Killzone. For more of my rating keep reading: My rating scale Excellent/Great/Good/Fair/Worst - Graphic: Great, love the robot design and beauty environment but some places feel kinda plain and boring - Gameplay: Great Single Player: Fast paced action FPS+ Robot Battle but AI need some improvement Multiplayer : Intense, fast pacing battle + Robot=awesome - Story: Good, it feel pretty good at the beginning but kinda get a bit boring throughout the other half - Music/Voice: Great

Having never played the first Titanfall I really didn't know what to expect from this IP. I took a chance and bought it for the story. Excellent decision on my part. It has a top notch story with an excellent mix of gun play and parkour. I did not encounter a single bug or glitch and the graphics looked phenomenal. The MP seems solid as well but it is a little to fast paced for my liking.

I loved the original on Xbox One and this sequel is more of that. The single-player campaign is a really well done execution of the game's core wall running and mech-controlling mechanics with a nice story to go with it. The multiplayer is mostly more of that minus the pure Call of Duty leveling and challenge mechanics that were just mirrors of what that team offered in their CoD games. Now, the leveling is done better to better reward all players instead of just the good players.

One of the better shooter campaigns of the last few years, the movement in this game is what sets it apart. Jumping around the map, wall-running, dashing, feels great. The campaign has some interesting mechanics that set it apart from other generic shooter campaigns, and is just the right length so that it doesn't over stay it's welcome. Multiplayer has been improved, the balance between titan and pilot feels just right, and there are many modes + unlocks to keep you coming back.

Great game! One of the best first person shooters out right now. Action packed and a helluva lot of fun. The gameplay is fast and flawless, not to mention it looks great! Haven't tried the new campaign they added to this years sequel but I've heard great things. If you missed out on the awesome giant titans combat in the first one you owe it to yourself to pick up Titanfall 2. Stop reading this and go buy it now. Also has free DLC throughout the year. Do I need to say more??

I'm giving this game 5 stars because of its exhilarating, creative campaign that matches the likes of such fps classics CoD: Modern Warfare, Black Ops, and Halo. This game is fast pace, and online multiplayer plays as a twitch shooter with the big difference, being able to use giant mechs to turn the tide of the battle. It's explosive, fun, but the community is small online, so as of to date, finding a match can take some time. Overall, a fun, entertaining game.

Titanfall 2 is a first person shooter set in the future where you team up with this huge titan, with a snappy attitude, that you will control from within. You can play either single-player campaign or co-op. The graphics are outstanding and once inside these huge Titans you control them and if your on the ground outside of them they'll protect you from harm with their massive weapons. Oh by the way you will be facing other not so friendly Titans. Have a BLAST !!

I've just started this game and put about 3-4 hours into it. Usually I don't play games like this for 3 hours straight nowadays but I stayed up late at night playing the story mode which I enjoy alot. So far the story is engaging and hasn't got dull yet. The game's visual and graphics are nice as well. The controls are also understandable I'm hoping when I'm done with the story mode I'll be able to play the multiplayer alot better then I did for the beta.
