Customers frequently mention the fast-paced gameplay and fun Titans as major highlights of Titanfall. Many also praise the game's action, price point, and maps. However, some players express disappointment with the limited campaign mode and lack of a robust single-player experience. The absence of a compelling storyline is also a recurring criticism.

Nothing to complain about $7 game with all DLC. What a bargain! No Single Campaign but online Campaign is fun to play

Titanfall is an online-only twitch shooter developed by many of former Call of Duty designers. It features 15 imaginative maps with loads of strategically placed walls for parkour, and the addition of mechs to wreak havoc upon your opponents. The game's only real weakness is the lack of a true single player campaign mode, but the excellent graphics and fast-paced shooting action are sure to provide hours of fun.

Titanfall delivers its promise of fun and addictive gameplay. The only problem is the lack of single player, story, and game modes. It does bring 15 multiplayer maps but that's about it. This is a multiplayer only game so as long as you're willing to drop $60 for it it's great fun. Hopefully they will add more content as the lifespan of the game goes on. Otherwise wait for a sale.

FINALLY we get a shooter that harkens back to the Unreal Tournament / Quake III days instead of Brown Military Shooter #571 OORAH Edition. If you're used to Call of Duty and want something fresh, interesting, fast-paced, addicting, and also has good netcode where you don't get insta-killed, get this game. It will blow your mind. While I still ove Battlefield 4 for something more methodical, I'm never touching Call of Duty ever again, especially after this.
The campaign plays out through normal multiplayer matches and is seamless and fun, the maps are some of the best I've seen in an online shooter in years, everything is balanced nicely, and the gameplay is top-notch.
On the other hand, there could have been a bit more content for $60, the graphics aren't eye-popping or stellar (although they do their job, just don't expect an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G next gen experience), and this game is hardly a system seller. Get it for the PC or the XBox 360 in a couple weeks if you can. If you already have an XBox One, definitely get it. Otherwise, this won't change your mind if you're waiting for a price drop.
The bottom line: This game is Call of Duty if Call of Duty didn't suck. It takes everything that was great about the earlier, great CoD games and makes it even better. Having a blast with this one. Chances are you will too!

Titanfall has quickly become one of my all time favorite titles to play online, what it lacks in terms of having a campaign to play it more than makes up for in its online multiplayer modes, super fun and competitive and was inexpensive, also titanfall 2 just came out and it has a new campaign to go along with the game which makes the first one seem more complete

This is a solid game. If you like FPS games this is gonna check every box you're gonna like. It is online only so if you like your FPS with a single player and story look elsewhere. That said this is a faster than normal pace game as in you can move super fast thanks to your wall running and jump pack that works like a double jump. If you wall run your momentum picks up and you move even faster. The guns are standard call of duty like guns. The Mechs are fine but noting ground breaking. I think this game was way over hyped, not the revolution we were told it would be. I feel this game will loose it's appeal quicker for me than I thought it would because it's call of duty with mechs and doesn't really have enough player customization, as a call of duty does. It's still a good game and better than ghosts, that was the worst call of duty I've ever played. I would have liked to see the price be cheaper than a full game since their is no single player game at all and it feels like half a game to me because of that, also no co-op mode aka spec ops or zombie modes. I would still recommend it for xbox one because of the shortage of games and it's good enough to keep you busy till more games come out, I just don't see this as a game I'll be playing eight months from now.

First off, I think most would agree the multiplayer aspect is great. Fun, fast, different.
But compared to even a lackluster recent Call of Duty or Halo, those titles actually had a Campaign.
TitanFall has a series of MP missions in place of a real campaign, with human players and everything. Slapped with an opening cinematic or scripted intro/outro to make it feel like a story. It wasn't.
Let alone the idea that in 4 months, when the initial population is no longer playing the campaign, new players picking it up won't even get the challenge of fighting humans, only the lackluster ai and a prolonged load time trying to find other non-existent human players to shove into the match.
And of course, negative feelings on the Always Online. If I felt the ai or combat was impressive due to cloud computing it would be different. But overall the game did not take it to that extra level at any point where I said to myself, "wow, they must have achieved this through cloud computing, amazing, this changes everything for games. I will now change my opinion on Always Online". Now it just seems like an effort to keep players on the servers, not stealing copies, or what ever the nefarious reason for Always Online exists.
Still, best MP of the year.

I have to admit, Titanfall was seriuosly overhyped as a Call of Duty killer and as a hardware pushing game by Microsoft and their paid off media. However, Titanfall had a great showing at first and then its multiplayer community had somewhat dwindled. This is seriously a fantastic game and deserves more love than whats its currently getting. Come get on its multiplayer either on Xbox One or PC!!! Titanfall's multiplayer is massive and Its way better than the Titanfall knockoff Call of Duty Avanced Warfare with its small scale and beloved campfest!!!

Titanfall is great! It excels where games like COD: Ghost frustates you to no end; online multiplayer. Titanfall is a super smooth multiplayer. There are limited hiccups online, the maps are spacious and balanced, the gameplay is fair and balanced. The only drawback is the limited number of fighting modes and the lack of a true campaign. All in all a great game worth a buy.

TitanFall is a great, fast paced game with an active community. The DLC maps are fun and they all promote a fast, constantly moving play style. It's had to play a match of TitanFall and be bored. With that being said, once you level up to Gen 3 or 4 playing the same maps; albeit with tougher Gen challenges, some of the gameplay gets pretty repetitive. But then again, most FPS shooter games are that way anyways. If you're looking for a fun game to kill some time with. Definitely checkout TitanFall.

I bought an Xbox One for this game and I am not disappointed. The action is intense, the weapons are fun and balanced, and the titans are awesome. I've always wanted a game featuring huge mechs and now I finally have it. They have been able to achieve a semblance of balance between pilot and titan as well. If you like action games or shooters you really need to try this.

The subtleties and balance of the gameplay have only got better with each new patch or update. The Titans might seem impregnable and overpowering, with their massive cannons, rocket launchers and chainguns, their heavy armour and their crushing feet, but Respawn counters with the pilot’s cloak and stim (speed boost) abilities, their ability to leap onto Titans and attack them from the shell (the Rodeo manoeuvre) and by giving pilots weapons that can do genuine damage to the stomping behemoths.

Titanfall was one of the first titles to release with the Xbox One. In my opinion, the game revolutionized the FPS genre by taking the mechanics of a linear Call Of Duty-esque shooter and vertically stretching it so that the game's wall running, Titanfalling, and parkouring around the map was seamlessly integrated. It feels so smooth and the game runs at a very eye-pleasing 60 fps. Even though Titanfall is a rinse and repeat shooter, its experience is definitely replayable. Highly recommended if you just purchased an Xbox One.

I've played all the cod up till advanced warfare. .. black ops felt the realest to me so far. .. and I've avoided the weird double jumping halo feeling games with wall running and whatnot. ... this was my first enjoyable game like this and I really enjoy the feel of the pilot play and the cool transition into the titan... it would be nice if there was an offline game to play on those days where my Internet goes down or servers have issues. . But. ..for the 8 bucks I spent on this I've definitely gotten my money worth

Titanfall is a fast and fun first person shooter. With a lot of gamers only focusing on the multiplayer aspect of their games these days, Respawn took a chance in having the campaign be a watered down story mode. Nevertheless the multiplayer is a great gaming experience and pretty much all gamers, at any skill level, will be able to pick up this shooter, have fun, and feel like they're pretty good at the game.
Titanfall has the makings of a Call of Duty twitch shooter / run and gun game. Every experience you encounter while playing multiplayer has an "epic-ness" to it. Whether it's stealthily snapping the neck of an opponent or dropping your titan into battle you'll feel like your on the frontlines of this future war story.
The game lacks a bit of depth in that reaching level 50 is fairly quick to do, and like other CoD games, you can restart the leveling process with all of your unlocks and a special badge next to your name. Surely DLC expansions will add some of that missing depth but I could see the game getting somewhat stale once everything is unlocked. Luckily I have a good group to play with so the lack of depth isn't a huge factor.
