This is my 6th TiVo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love TiVo and have been a TiVo user since 1999 when they were first introduced. They certainly have come along way and the latest version, the bolt, is a technological wonder. The fast mode is a great way to binge watch television episodes. I have no idea how they do it. You would think if it is going faster the voices would be distorted and start sounding like Mickey Mouse but the voices are in the exact same tone as if the fast mode is off it's just faster. The commercial skip feature is a real plus also although it only works on selected television programs and networks at specific times, it has really saved me a lot of time. I can't wait to see what's next .

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm glad I upgraded from a TiVo premier. I love the commercial skip feature. I also got this because of the 4K display. If you have had a TiVo product before you will love the bolt.

No More TiVo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am returning my BOLT. I am a long-time TiVo owner and the BOLT is the 4th model I have purchased. My Roamio was purchased last February at full price. I called TiVo on October 18th to confirm I could cancel my monthly service for Roamio since I was buying a BOLT. I was assured it was canceled and I would not be billed next month since the BOLT is prepaid for one year. Today I was billed for it and called TiVo again. This time the person told me that I was under "contract" with the Roamio until February and would have to continue paying. I had already sold the Roamio using Amazon Trade-in and no longer even have the device. I will not do business with TiVo again unless someone contacts me in a hurry to make it right! They have lost a good and loyal customer. I need to mention that this was in no way Best Buy's fault.

Don't Bother!

After two units hooked up to 3 different tv's with 3 different HDMI cables, the picture quality even on a 4K TV ws HORRIBLE. It barely looked like a 420p picture! Tivo customer service was stumped. Got rid of it right away!
