This does what it should. Allows me to download recordings to my phone to be watched elsewhere

It is a needed items for TiVO in another Room. Does the job, but no extra efforts from TiVo

It is nice to save and watch TiVO-saved shows on the iPad. Takes a lot of bandwidth to save, so don't be in a hurry. I was shocked when I attempted to connect my iPad to a hotel television during a business trip. The audio worked, but displayed unable to show. Very disappointed.

I can now Stream video from my Premiere DVR's to my Tablet, phone while on the balcony, by the pool, while commuting on the train.

It's a good DVR with some limited remote uses. Good for over air and cable use. Not for satellite.

use with OTA instead of Bolt. Does the job, no frills

It took one week to setup a MOCA network which requires for this box. It is working for a while and stops working it is pain in the behind. I had 3 service calls, they could not fix it. This is an expensive junk with the all Tivo system.

Good way to watch Tivo recordings on other TVs in the house, via Amazon Fire TV. Performance within the house is solid. However, trying to watch away from home, even with excellent ethernet connection can exhibit lag.

I thought this would be a breeze to get up and running. I have called Tivo support twice. Both times ended in disappointment. They were very courteous ("Please may I put on a brief hold?" "I understand your frustration let's try this"). Each call lasted about 40 minutes. Each time I was unable to get things running. The second call ended with them asking me to try one more thing and if that didn't work I was suppose to call back so they could connect me to a higher level of support. Two 40 minute calls and then I get to a higher level of support? Seems like I should have had that 10 minutes into the first call. I haven't made the third call as yet since I have not be able to remove the unit from the wall to which I threw it after call #2.

I bought this so that I could stream my recorded TIVO programs from the two TIVO boxes I have in my home. Unfortunately, even after buying an ethernet switch, this product would not work with my home network config so I ended up returning it to Best Buy.

I travel for business, this device makes it very easy to take recorded shows with me. The download takes some time, so I set it up in the morning, go to the gym and when I get back it is on my device.

I was excited about the TiVo Stream. I'd be a frequent user of both in-home streaming to iOS devices and offloading to devices for travel. Unfortunately, the Stream only works with a very specific network setup--both your TiVo and your Stream must be plugged directly into your network router. It won't work over wi-fi, won't work with Ethernet over power, won't work with both devices plugged into the same switch. Both your TiVo and your Stream will need to be near each other, and both will need to be near your network router. I help a lot of my friends set up their networks and there aren't many of them with a setup that would meet the Stream's limitations. The Stream is potentially great but they've bungled it by severely limiting the places where it can be used.

With the TiVo Stream, you can watch anything you have recorded on your TiVo premiere DVR on your iPad. Small disclaimer... you have to be at your house to do so. You can also watch "nearly-live TV" from your iPad. it takes up a tuner on your Tivo premiere DVR, but still gives you another option. For $130, the price is a bit steep. I'll wait until TiVo makes a slingbox version of this where you can stream from your TiVo from anywhere...

Wish Tivo included the Stream feature in the OTA model I have but they don't so I had to get this to get the feature. Does what it says it will and is very handy to have.

Using the TiVo stream in conjunction with a fire tv is a cheaper way to get my TiVo content on additional TVs for cheaper than buying TiVo minis. Excellent product!

This box completed my cable cutting goal. I have a Tivo OTA DVR unit for my living room and a Tivo Mini for my bed room and now the Tivo stream so I can watch FREE TV any where I have a WiFi connection, at home or away from home. Easy setup and works well as long as you are on a high speed WiFi connection. AND ALL FOR FREE. I love my Tivo system!

A must have for any TiVo owner. Being able to take your recordings wherever you go to watch whenever you want is awesome.

I bought this device because I saw it on clearance on the shelve. I have a Tivo Premiere and a Tivo HD3. I bought the Tivo Premiere before they released the Romio editions, but it works with Tivo Stream so I can't complain about that. I bought the device because it was half off the retail price and I'm sure Tivo will eventually support Stream for Android.

I spent hours on the phone with TiVo who eventually told me to return my stream to Best Buy. I kept at it and found that trend micronet firewall was the issue. I also had to get a stronger Wi-Fi signal in order for the streaming to work. Now that it's working, I can lay in bed with my iPad and headphones and watch anything I want as my wife falls asleep
