This game is a challenge but not so overwhelming that you wonder why bother. Unlike one reviewer said, it DOES have a campaign mode where you can play alone if you want. You can also select others from within the game itself not having to know people in social media. I find the graphics here to be among the best I have seen in any game. Sharp and brilliant without appearing to be "cartoon looking". One complaint is that I noticed when signing up that I made an error in my email address. However there was no way to correct it. Be careful because as you sign up there is no going back. I would recommend this to friends and hope for a Division 2

This game has been really fun to play. I've leveled two characters and and maxed out their gear. I think there is a lot of balancing that still needs to happen in the game but they are making patches and coming out with a lot of new content over the next year. I look forward to seeing the improvements to this game. You can see more of my reviews on www.krenziq.com/reviews

This game is a cross genre between a MMO or even Diablo and a FPS. There is leveling, quest and other usual modern MMO/diablo type game. But you do need to aim like an FPS game. This game is fun but there are alot of hackers when you get into the dark zone(is multiplayer arena basically) If you don't mind that part, the game is very fun!

am for the most part a single player gamer. Still, I found myself fully engaged with this game. The story is not the best but it does convince one of the world they are in as being authentic. The mechanics of the gameplay is definitely MMO-ish but that does not take away from the game in this case. I've enjoyed the game so much that I am starting to delve into the MP aspects. This game has the potential to bring many hours of rewarding gameplay.

I purchased "The Division" on all 3 platforms and must say that PC is by far the most enjoyable, however there are a lack of players compared to console. The single player campaign is a one shot play through and without the DZ (multiplayer arena) the game gets old. Gear wise you HAVE to play DZ with a group, the high-end gear makes a huge difference. If you're a single player kind of player, I'd wait until you have atleast 2 friends who play consistently. Waiting for the extract in the DZ is only 90 seconds but it can be intense not knowing who will turn on you or if the NPCs decide to come after you. Build specs can be changed at any time so you're not locked in to one particular class. There is a lot of content being released at a steady pace. If the dates hold up, I can see myself playing this game for a long time. If it falls behind... I may not be willing to wait. Ubisoft delayed this game for over 2 years but it was worth it. Been playing for a month now and hit two characters at 30 with DZ levels above 60 on PC alone. Hope everyone has a chance to experience this great game!

The story cuts off, leaving you with unanswered questions left and right. (That how games are marketed now, so you can buy their dlcs). There is no true antagonist to face off... yet. Unless you consider glitches to be your worst boss. Nothing like falling through the ground during a firefight. Nothing to really do once you get through the story line besides enter the dark zone. But the dark zone is filled with hackers with god mode, no clip, infinite ammo, wall hacks, and speed hack. Not my definition of a fun time. You can google the list of gripes players have. However, when the game isn't affected by the items above, you can see what the game could have been. There was so much to be excited for. Key would be how Ubisoft fixes these issues and add contents for the dlcs. Maybe the game will improve.

Game mechanics are great for an RPG-lite cover-shooter. Other than a few annoying bugs, it performs well. Environment is fairly immersive with decent character dialogue and interaction. The biggest problem with the game (and why I wouldn't recommend it at this time) is that it lacks any sort of substantial end game goals. Finishing the missions and getting to maximum level of 30 is quick and easy. Shift in gameplay from there after is supposed to revolve around a variety of activities to keep players busy. Currently, there is only the Dark Zone and a few daily quests (which are the same every day). There is no variety and trying to get better gear is an enormous grind. In summation, the game has a lot of potential that will hopefully be realized sometime down the road when more content is added.

A fun co-op game plagued by broken elements

The Division is a gorgeous game that is extremely fun to play with a group of people. It has a fairly compelling story and is somewhat fun if you play by yourself. The real enjoyment from this game comes in linking up with three other people and completing different missions together. I was disappointed in the fact that the game required a very large update to be performed when it's first installed comma and there have been some graphical and connection errors throughout my entire time of playing. There are number of broken elements to the game, such as certain characters and settings, levels and missions that don't automatically start or finish for you, requiring restarts. And I've needed to log out of uPlay often to properly play the game. Hopefully Ubisoft will patch these issues soon.

This game is very reminiscent of Diablo II, but with a Tom Clancy vibe to it. It's a grind and loot game so if you're not akin to things like that, I'd probably stay away. They fixed a lot of the issues it had during launch through updates and DLC. Make sure you know people to play with as it is much more fun and a total different experience when playing through the campaign as a full 4-person team.

Most Fun Shooter I've Ever Played

This game literally can not be put down. I've put thousands of hours into the Call of Duty franchise and this game is just so much more fun. The third-person, DPS-based combat is addicting. It's like someone took the gear attributes of WoW and shoved them into a third-person-shooter with a huge, open-world map. I loved every minute of the game and even after level 30, the PvP in the Dark Zone is outstanding.

Great Shooter - DLCs Will Make it Even Better

The Division is an excellent shooter RP game overall (thus far). The launch day issues, which are commonplace with any MMO anymore, have been widely resolved at this point. The initial game content offering is a little on the weak side, but I believe this is by design to help limit launch kinks. The forthcoming DLCs should add an amazing amount of gameplay that will keep me addicted for another year.
