Videogame movies are a hit or miss. Although, I tip my hat off to the casting, from the previous tomb raider movies to this one, Lara looks just like she is in the game. If you played the last tomb raider — “rise of the tomb raider” and liked it, I would recommend seeing it in the 4K resolution.

Pretty typical modern action movie with lots of fight scenes and CGI but the plot and dialog are a bit thin. Still fun though, and has a strong female lead / role model that's also human / believable. My 13 yo daughter enjoyed it and plans to watch it again, which made it worth the purchase.

Was lacking mystery and action. Was really disappointed.

The original Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie never goes into great detail about the time after her father went missing. This one does. Forget all you know about Lara Croft from those movies. As I recall, the game never covered it either. Good movie and it's set to continue from the ending.

I liked the two Angelina Jolie/Laura Croft movies a lot; so, was worried that this Tomb Raider movie, that does not feature her, would not live up to my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to find this high adventure to be well-acted and exciting. I hope more of the younger Laura Croft/Alicia Vikander movies will be made in the near future.

For a video game movie. It’s not bad, but not good either.

I first watched this movie as a Blu-ray, and I was impressed with how clear the picture looked. Later, I watched the 4K disc, and the picture probably showed a bit more detail. I enjoyed Alicia Vikander's version of Lara Croft. I look forward to seeing her play the role again soon.

This one was OK, but I liked the previous ones better. This one put a small girl into the role, which felt off given the nature of the game. Angelina Jolie was certainly not huge, but she had strength and fit the snob role of the original Lara Croft.

Was never really much of a fan of the original movies, so anything with Alicia Vikander I'm all in for. The story was just lacking at some points of the movie, and wished there was some character exploration at certain points but oh well.

I liked it. It is not another A. Jolie style Tomb Raider movie, just as the newer 007 movies are not the older 007 movies. This movie follows the Tomb Raider game (loosely) and A. Vikander does a good believable job as Laura Croft. If you like the game, you should enjoy this movie.

I didn't get a chance to see this film in a theater, but I am glad I purchased on Ultra HD Blu-ray - I thought the film was well paced and Alicia Vikander did a good job with the Lara Croft roll. Video and audio quality are excellent. I hope we see this version of Lara Croft again.

cOOL MOVIE BETTER THAN THE ANGELINA JOLIE ONE. hOPE THE SEQUEL GETS MADE. bETTER ACTION AND STUFF. IT HAS THE RIGHT STUFF FOR AN ACTION MOVIE. iT WILL IMPRESS PEOPLE OF BOTH SEXES AND EVEN PEOPLE WHO DONT LIKE ACTION MOVIES

Noticed quite a few scenes that were very similar to the video games, and Alicia Vikander was perfect for the part. Action was great and the acting as well. Would have given it 5 Stars, but it just seemed to be missing something to put it over the top. Hope to see a Tomb Raider 2.

Tomb Raider on Blu Ray is definitely one of the better movie adaptations of a video game. Alicia Vikander does a great job transforming her body physically to become a strong character for the role. Great action sequences and story that sets itself up for a sequel. Great extras.

Better than the first series of Tomb Raider, good action

Not good. Not bad. This movie is spectacularly mediocre!

My wife loves the tomb raider games & was really excited for this movie. She thought that it was a good movie, but it's hard to fit all the details & story from an entire game into a 2 hour movie. As someone who hasn't played the games, I enjoyed the movie. Well done

After watching this, I found myself comparing it to the previous movies from some time ago with *ahem*, another actress. I suppose this may be a mistake, but what have you... This movie has it's moments when I would have preferred a different theme. But entertaining even so.

It was OK, kinda got bored by late half of movie, main character seemed to have worked a lot on herself for the movie but the story line was alittle lacking I thought. not worth buying unless on sale like I did, maybe rent to watch.,..im glad I didn't get the 4k version
