Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer absolutely ooze charisma throughout every scene they are in

Kept hearing about this one and was not disappointed when I finally got around to watch it.

Very good movie , at a great price. This is a great story & very good acting. If you like westerns this ones for you. There are some great shootout scenes & some drama or a little love story in with it. There’s some famous actors in this movie also. I’m not really a western movie fan & you might not be either , but you’ll like this one just like I did. I’d recommend buying this movie.

I have greatly enjoyed Tombstone ever since I first saw it. In fact, I can't even think of a better Western genre movie, and that is saying a lot. Over the years, I have purchased it on VHS, LaserDisc, DVD and now Blu Ray. The improvements to the visual and audio components make this the best it has ever looked and sounded, by far. When played and up-scaled through my UHD Blu Ray player on my 75 inch Samsung 4K TV, it is absolutely stunning.

Saw this back in '94 on laserdisc and just saw it again on blu-ray; I had almost forgotten how awesome this movie is, it's not the extended version like the laserdisc but it's still great; takes you right into the action and does not drag on like Kevin Costner's Wyatt Earp. Kurt Russell makes a better Wyatt Earp by far than Kevin Costner and Val Kilmer is just awesome playing Doc Holliday. This movie leaves all the other Wyatt Earp movies in the dust.

one of my favourite "new" westerns from the 90's. an updated version based on the of the legend (rather than 100% historic account) of Wyatt Earp and his brothers & Doc Holiday in legendary Tombstone Arizona. Loaded with star power Kurt Russell, Val Kilmir, Bill Paxton, Sam Elliot, Jason Priestly, Powers Boothe, Michael Biehn, Charleton Heston just like the classic westerns of the 50's used to be a who's who of Hollywood. Unfortunately the BluRay does not have much to offer in the way of extras.

Graft movie at a great price. Glad to finally add it to the collection.

This is one of the better wild west films I have seen in a long time.

Tombstone will suck you in, very good western. I'm here hucle Barry.

the film maybe partly based on fact, a good story of the old west

I would say that if you're a man, then you have to own this movie. But, my wife likes it as much as I do. Kurt Russell chews up the scenery in every way possible - it's clear he is loving this role. Val Kilmer. His Doc Holiday is a quote machine! He steals every frame of the movie he is in! His best role ever. The rest of the cast is pretty much a 'who's who' of Hollywood, and even Wyatt Earp III is in the movie as a baddie Cowboy! This movie still rocks 22 years later!

Well the best modern day Western is made easily a classic movie

Being born in 1968, and having a brother who's seen every western ever made, I have seen most all of them too. This is one of my favorites, along with 'Shane.' This is amazing, because this is a modern movie. I didn't know Hollywood still had it in them. I've read some critics who say this wasn't historically accurate enough for them, preferring Kevin Costner's 'Earp.' I've seen both and I'll take Tombstone every day of the week and twice on Sunday. It just has it all: great cast, soundtrack, story, direction, and it doesn't ever bore. It's just an all around great movie western. I can't count how many times I've seen it, but it will be watched again, I promise. It never gets old. A classic.

This “Historical Classic Movie” should be kept in everyone’s DVD Library, who appreciates the rich historical content, and the legendary characters that are the center of this historical American Western epic.

Classic. Kurt and Val and an exceptional cast. Keep in mind, Disney Touchstone would have shut this movie down, but Kurt Russell stepped in to "quietly" ghost-direct the movie. The world almost missed out on what is today regarded as one of the finest Westerns ever made.

This Western is one of the top ten of all time and Val Kilmer's performance is praise worthy beyond the silly Oscars. The Blu Ray is more than up to the film and even were it to come out in a 4K version I would not be interested in trading "up". Very highly recommended. Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

Tombstone is one of the top 3 favorite western moves of all time. I was pleased to see this movie on blu-ray, and i hope to purchase it on 4K someday. It has more action and drama from some of the best actors giving their greatest performances, and memorable moments that will have you watching Tombstone again and again and again. Don't miss out on this epic film.

I was recommended this movie from a friend and was very impressed. Film shows an interesting view of the Earp brothers and those they battled. It might have presented the characters in a better light than historically accurate, but enjoyable. Made me want to find out more about these real people. Strong performances from all cast members. Packaging and quality all good.

Movie very well done - much better than the Kevin Costner version. Val Kilmer is outstanding as Doc Holiday, Kurt Russell very good as Wyatt Earp, Sam and Bill do very well as his brothers. Dana Delany keeps Wyatt from being "an oak". Watch this movie - you will enjoy it!!
