This game is surprisingly fun and addicting. Playing with friends really adds to it!

My kids (ages 12,11,9) love playing this game. There seems to be quite a bit of replay-ability, as it is a constantly changing game. My only complaint is that they kids couldn't share a single cartridge. They claim there is only one profile per cartridge, so we ended up by a second cartridge so that multiple kids could play. I'm not sure if this is true but they all gave me the same story.

Tomodoachi Life is not a game for everyone...heck, it's hardly a game at all. What it IS...well, it's a weird little program where you make digital representations of people (friends, celebs, or your own creations) in the form of good old Mii's, drop them on an island, and see what they do. They live, they love, they procreate (by simply telling you they had a kid out of NOWHERE...only when married, of course). You can play little minigames and use in-game cash to buy the Mii's stuff, give them advice...it's pretty simple. The appeal of the game is really in the situations that occur. I've had quite a few great laughs from this title in a way that you don't often get with more traditional games. If you're looking for challenge or an epic narrative, you WON'T find it here. If you want a weird little title that encourages play sessions in the minutes and will make you laugh, give it a go.
