This GPS is more difficult than my old one. We cannot get the volume loud enough to hear.

I also have a VIA and the GO 60 doesn't even come close to being as good. Wish I had never bought it. It also links to your Smart Phone and runs the battery down quickly so you have to place your phone on a car charger. Not always convenient. I am looking for the new VIA 1605.

The supplied documentation lacks the basic definitions for the control Icons. There is a lot of trial and error and going to the internet to read the instruction manual to set up the GPS properly. The map presentation is not changeable as it is on other Tom Tom GPS units. The unit is supposed to show buildings in 3D when in cities, but I have never seen it on my unit, even though it is set for 3D operation. It does get you to your destination by the quickest route and keeps you informed of the current traffic conditions. The spoken street names and your arrival destination location left or right is a plus for this unit.

After initial set up issues and a bunch of "linking" it seems to work fine. I have no idea why you have to set it up with your cell phone since there is a GPS on the cell...really defeats the purpose, no? But also got it for those odd chances of not having reception.

Nice unit. Works well, even with motorcycle gloves. I mounted it to my bike using a RAM mount. Stays nice and tight. Even works well in the bright sun.

This GPS was purchased to replace another Tom - Tom. It is great. I took me a little while to get used to the new operating program - it was never a problem just "different" from previous Tom - Toms. Once I had used it for a bit (about a week) I really took to it. I really like the way it will connect to your phone and update itself, not to mention having live traffic updates. Easy to use, and very easy to set up destinations. I would tell anyone looking to purchase a GPS to consider this one.

The new Tomtom size is great. The real time traffic is accurate and easy to setup. I am currently waiting for some updates to the maps as every location I have used is not on the correct side of the road.

We bought it because of all of the gps models we were looking at this one had the traffic updates. It syncs with your smartphone and indicates where there are traffic problems then gives alternate routes.

Bought this for my mother who is let's say not very tech savvy, easy to use,the big display really easy to see and understand. Mom loves it now she is always on the go with out worries of getting lost!

Nice wide screen, easy to follow navigation, and easy set up. There is a slight lag when ypu are trying to move throught the menus too quickly

I got this god for my mom to use , it has a big clear screen and works well with the app. It isn't as loud as she would have liked it is the draw back.

For the money the Tom Tom Go S 6" GPS is one of the best GPS devices I have owned. The lifetime map update and the lifetime traffic update is a great selling feture and was the main reason for me buying this model and brand of GPS. I would highly reccommened this brand and model to anyone who is looking for vaule and accuracy.

Not as many choices for alarms/alerts as my old TomTom. Other than that, I am thrilled. Wanted to give it 4 1/2 stars; I do miss my "Star Trek" alarm sounds!! Do love the voice choices. Thanks!

I purchased this navi for my window cleaning business. This is the best tom tom i have ever owned. It has everything you could want in a navi at a great price. I would highly recommend this navi.

I have never had a gps besides my phone and thought it would be hard to use but so far I've been able to figure out how to use it with no help

This is a good gps, I wish it came with instructions on how to use it and a cancel destination.

The display is awesome. Very easy to read and follow. Very easy to use and great traffic updates.

This model is easy to use, and the screen size is awesome! I especially like the spoken street names feature , ie "turn right on Main St...", instead of, "in 250 yards, turn right."

This Tom-Tom was very easy to get from box to truck, but I was unimpressed with the lack of features. This is a good first GPS, but should be labeled a starter GPS as it has next to no functions. Map and route works great. I do not wish to use phone app for traffic updates while driving. Thought that was bad !!!!

We decided to get a new TomTom because ours was getting old, but it was still useful. We like the bigger size and have gotten used to the new features. We are very satisfied.
