Since the speaker is in the rear sometimes alining toward your windshield will help reflect the sound back toward you. New and unfamiliar interface.

I had difficulty entering the destination address at first. After some practice, I found it to be easier to enter the destination. Maps were similar to the previous Tom Tom device I previously used. I have not seen the buildings in the maps as yet. It was easy to follow the route to the destination once I got it entered. I am still working on finding the points of interest I used to find quickly in my old Tom Tom. Although the interface was useable, it isn't obvious from the menu displays like the old Tom Tom I used to use. I am still evaluating it for effectiveness.

While it does an adequate job it is not at all easy to use. Still have not found out how to get battery charged and must have unit connected to power source for it to work.

Posted .I am sorry to read that the GO 60 S hasn't net your expectations! I will share your feedback with the product team. We find that the brand new interface does take some getting used to from our previous one, but once you use it for a while it becomes much easier to do the most common things!
The included car charger will not only power your device, but also charge it! The GO 60 S has a large screen so it does charge slower while in use. We do not recommend using your computer to charge your GO 60 - if you want to charge in the home we suggest using a USB charger designed for an iPad or tablet (5V, over 1A), but like I said, the included car charger will do it as well.

Forget about brightness!!! Looks like the old ones on 5 at 10 on this one.. maps are confusing colors blend in.. if I could return it i would..!!

I am sorry to hear that the TomTom GO 60S was not able to meet your expectations. If you still have the device in your possession I would like to comment on some of the issues you raised to improve your experience. The brightness and the color scheme can be altered on the device. To do so please select Main Menu, afterwards select Settings, Display and Appearance. Here you will be able to adjust the brightness and the color scheme. Hopefully this will improve the visibility for you.
As a last resolution you may reconsider the positioning of the mount. Have you tried to point the screen down? This could perhaps help. Thank you for your review. Wish it had a better charging system but i bring it in every night and charge it fully for the next days use.

Now he will always be able to find his way home. he ia a huge Star Wars fan so the optional voice choices made this the perfect GPS for him.
