With so many options that do the same things this watch does, I'd go with one that is newer. This item is very dated and for the price, not worth it. Returned it and got something cheaper, nicer, and better quality.

I did a ton of research prior to making my purchase. I finally could not decide between the tomtom spark and the polar a360. The major seller was the wristHR since I didn't want a strap on my chest. I needed waterproof since I love to go swimming, but I also do many other activities and sports. I didn't need just a step counter. I wanted calories burned, heary rate, activity tracker, workout tracking, waterproof, sturdy, and hear rate zones (fat burning or cardio). I bought both the tomtom spark and polar a360. The tomtom spark pros and cons PROS: Beautiful watch, the small fit perfectly for a small pettite girl. The band is study and comfortable. The display and screen are very nice and clear. It has built in HR. Waterproof. I can walk, swin, run, and have gym mode. Counts calories and steps. CONS: HORRIBLE SOFTWARE. The app wasn't comparible with my brand new tablet (android) I downloaded it to my iphone and spent a full day trying to sync and miserably failed. Without syncing with app this device is just a calorie and step counter completely useless (for me). The next day after purchase I wanted to throw it out the window that's how frustrating this was. I immediately returned it and kept the Polar a360. Shame I really wanted to be like the Spartans. :(

When I purchased this watch, I had a Garmin Forerunner 15. The Garmin is crazy easy to use and is great for tracking distance. I purchased the TomTom because I wanted a good heart rate monitor and a watch that played music. First, the watch looks great (I wasn't expecting that). It's pretty easy to use, but you do have to click around on it to see stats. The heart rate monitor is extremely accurate and has held up. However, if you are tracking a run, you can't switch songs...so honestly I now only use this watch to play music on a run I have already tracked distance for. The battery life is pretty good, especially if you aren't using GPS or heart rate monitor (which is where I'm at now). If you are used to tracking your data on an app and it being simple and looking great (like a fitbit)...this is not there yet. As far as how it has held up...I've had it for maybe 6 months. The band has still lasted, but softened up a bit (unlike the Garmin which I had to replace after 4 months). However, the downside...the connection for the charger is really funky...like silliest design I have ever seen. It has been a huge pain to plug it in to charge and now (only 6 months in) the charger has totally fallen apart. Overall, the quality is better than most, however, I would not recommend this model. If they update and change the charger and make music changing possible while you are in run mode...then I would recommend. For the price, to last 6 months...not worth it. Also, finding good bluetooth headphones for running has been a pain...I have gone through four different brands. I recommend the JBL Reflect Mini's...they are comfortable and stay in with decent sound. However, pay the $15 for the Best Buy replacement insurance...they will die after 3 months. The other headphones (and I've tried all of the best) fall out and hit your head while running. These are light and amazing...just know you have to replace them.

Overall this is a good watch and the only one that is capable of playing music, which is a big reason I got it. However, after not even 7 months the rubber watch band broke and now has to be replaced which I'm sure will take a while and is a hassle. A band should not break that quickly. Maybe they should transition to a better band.

For some reason every time after charging demo mode is on, and i have to turn it off, which is pretty annoying, is there a way to fix that? Also it doesn't sync my activities to iPhone, i had Tomtom runner for two years before and had no problem doing that. Help please
