Air blows directly up to the ears, which makes conversation hard to understand. In a hot day, it does help a little, but I do find it uncomfortable after a long period of time because the device that is in direct contact to my skin gets sweaty since there no airflow. Quality wise, better than other cheaper brand I got from amazon.

I purchased this for me, but my wife uses it as well to battle her hot flashes. I like it to cool down quicker after exercising. As the weather gets warmer it will be great for cooling me off with pulling out the box fan or turning on the AC unnecessarily.

She absolutely loved this neck fan and the versatility of use. She's also liked the fact that it had a fan option to blow on the back of her neck instead of just in the front.

The device itself is a hard plastic with not much give on the cushioning, but because it sits directly on the neck, the device itself was causing the same issue I was trying to remediate. I also believe the device is quite loud on even the lowest setting with almost 60 dcb on the max setting which was somewhat effective but became uncomfortable overall after about 10 to 15 minutes.
