I've owned huge 10-20k Mah power banks before, and although they are cool.. they've been too big and bulky for me to want to carry around all day for my phone. Sooo, all that being said.. I've grown quite fond of this little magnetic power bank. It is about the size of a credit card, a bit thicker obviously. The magnet on it is strong enough to stay put on my iPhone even though there is a slim case on my phone. The battery on my phone tends to die rather quickly now a days, so having this compact wireless charger in my pocket is very nice and convenient. I have an iPhone 13 Pro, and this battery will charge my phone about twice before I need to recharge the battery pack. The "O Stand" is sturdy enough to keep my phone propped up while watching videos or listening to podcasts. The O stand rates 360 degrees so you can position your phone in whichever position you'd like. The battery charges via usb C cable, and has a button that lights up the LED lights that indicate how much battery life is left in the pack. All in All, I am quite pleased with this power bank, it provides enough juice to get me through the day and recharges itself rather quickly. I highly recommend this to anyone with a phone that needs to be topped off frequently throughout your day. It will also output a charge through he usb c port! if you want to use it to charge smaller devices.

    Cool Rotatable Stand

The Torras Ostand Magnetic Power Bank with 360 degree rotatable stand is small (about 100 mm x 70 mm x 10 mm), but it is very portable and packs 5000mAh of charge. I tried this power bank with my android phone, but the case on my phone is too thick. However, my 20-year-old grabbed it for his (not android) phone. He has a wireless charging compatible case on his phone. The Torras power bank works great with his phone. It lives in his backpack ready for use. He really likes the 360 rotatable stand. When he’s on campus and needs to charge, it’s simple. The power bank sticks magnetically to his phone case. The cool rotatable stand on the power bank works as a phone stand when the phone is magnetically attached. He can watch videos with the stand in landscape mode or use his phone in portrait mode while still charging. The power bank seems to charge my 20-year-old’s phone reasonably fast. It is rated at 15W. If you have a phone that will charge wirelessly, this portable little charger is worth checking out.

This Torras battery pack has a 5000 mAh capacity and charges via the included USB-C to USB-C cable. It doesn’t come with a wall adapter, so you’ll need one that supplies 18W output to charge it up, which takes about 2 hrs. The top surface of the power bank is a wireless charging pad that contains neodymium magnets and supports MagSafe for compatible iPhones and phone cases. Other wireless Qi charging devices like Bluetooth earbuds can also be charged on the pad. You can also use its USB-C port for output to charge devices that don’t support wireless charging. Note that wireless charging output is rated at 7.5W while the advertised 15W fast charging output is only achievable via wired charging. The battery pack is lightweight at around 7.25 oz, and the built-in ‘O’ ring stand is continuously rotatable 360°, swiveling up to 120°. When the stand is folded, it is recessed and lays flat, so it won’t catch or snag on anything. It’s easy to pop the stand out, and it stays put once you’ve set the angle and position. It also rotates with just enough pressure that it’s still smooth sliding but won’t spin on its own. This makes the battery pack a decent stand as you can set the orientation to either horizontal or vertical, then prop your phone up against it. Depending on your phone’s model and whether or not you’re using a MagSafe compatible case, the magnetic strength of the charging pad may vary. If you have an iPhone 12 or newer, MagSafe is built-into the phone, so the battery pack will adhere firmly directly to the back of the phone. The magnet also helps align the charging coils for efficient wireless charging, allowing you to hold and use the phone and battery pack during charging. I found that using a case that is not MagSafe compatible interferes with the effectiveness of the magnets, but I was still able to charge wirelessly by simply placing the phone on it at the right spot. With a 7.5W output, after 30 minutes of wireless charging, my iPhone’s battery life was up to 86% from 76%. The battery and phone got a little warm to the touch but nothing that felt out of the ordinary compared to simply using the phone. When used with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra without a case, the magnet was able to stick to the phone as well, though not very strongly and would slide off easily. It was just easier to leave them on the table, since I can use the battery pack as a stand to charge at the same time. On a full charge, the battery pack was able to charge the S24 Ultra wirelessly for a little over 2 hours before running out of juice. This amounted to a 35% battery life increase (~1750mA) over that time or around 9Wh. That output rate is considered “fast charging,” but below the S24’s 15W wireless charging capability. Since the S24 Ultra also has a 5000 mAh battery, one might assume you’d get one full charge from the battery pack; however, due to inefficiencies in wireless charging, some of that energy is lost in the exchange, mostly as heat. This was evident when I measured the temperature; the back of my phone registered 115°F while the battery pack was up to 125°F in spots. That’s plenty hot to the touch, and I was concerned the high temperature might actually damage the battery. Plugging the phone into the battery with a wire allows you to achieve its maximum output rate of 15W, and when charging this way, I saw a 66% battery life increase over the same 2.25 hours before the battery pack ran out. That’s a much better output performance, and the battery pack and phone also didn’t heat up as much. Overall, the Torras Ostand Magnetic Power Bank is an ok wireless battery pack. When charging wirelessly, most contemporary phones with a 5000mAh battery will gain around 35-40% power in around 2 hours, but it can get pretty hot with Android phones. You’ll get more total charge when wired to the battery with less heat output since the charge rate is twice as fast. The magnets keep the power bank securely attached to your device, provided you have a compatible MagSafe phone or case and the pop out ring stand is useful for extra support in the hand or propping up the phone. It appears iPhone users may have a slightly better experience than Androids with natively supported MagSafe phones and lower heat output when charging wirelessly, but older iPhones will require to a USB-C to Lightning cable or adapter to charge with a wire.

Slim Rapid Charge Power Bank With a Strong Magnet

The Torras power bank has been practically glued to my phone for about a week now. It's my new travel and work companion and goes everywhere I go. It's lightweight and slim profile adds very little bulk to my Samsung S24 Ultra. Coincidentally, the magnetic case I use on my Samsung S24 Ultra also happens to be made by Torras. I was first introduced to Torras a couple years back when purchasing a case for my S22U. I'm glad that I took a gamble on the Torras brand as I've been a huge fan ever since. As you can see by the attached picture, this magnetic power bank pairs perfectly with the magnetic Torras case. The plastic construction of the power bank feels very solid in the hands and seems like it can take some abuse. It has a very strong magnet that won't fall off even in the most demanding situations. Since this power bank is so slim, I love that I can just leave it attached to my phone case and simply throw in the case + power bank into my pant pockets with no issues. The 360° degree rotatable stand is a really nice touch by Torras. The stand not only allows you to view your phone in either portrait or landscape orientation, but there's an infinite amount of viewing angles that are possible due to the rotatable stand. In almost all of the viewing angles that I tried, the stand felt extremely sturdy. The only minor caveat is that there's a bit of backplay when rotating the the inner disc wheel which houses the stand. It's a really minor nitpick but I would love to see this improve in future versions of this power bank. The charging performance of this Torras power bank has been flawless. No random disconnects, no inconsistent charging, or any surface contact issues. My only small gripe with this power bank is that I really wish it provided super fast charge instead of just rapid charge. While rapid charge is fine, super fast charge would have easily made this a 5 star product. With my phone at about 5% charge, it will take anywhere between 2-3 hours for the power bank to fully charge my phone. To fully charge the power bank when it has died, it usually takes me about 1.5 hours. I like that the power bank has five small LEDs built right into the unit which serve as power indicators. There's also a small button that you can press to see how much battery you have left. When charging your device, it lights up letting you know that it's charging a device (blue LED) and also let's you know how much battery you have left (white LEDs). Overall, this is a great slim power bank that you can simply toss in your tech bag, slap on your mobile device, and not be hindered by any bulkiness. It's also fantastic that it doubles as a kickstand!

Slim and lightweight. Adds ~70% charge to iPhone

The best part of this power bank is its portability thanks to how slim and lightweight it is. This might be the perfect power bank for you as long as your expectations are set correctly. For example, it was able to give my iPhone 14 an extra 70% of battery in about 2 hrs and 10 minutes. So, don’t expect this power bank to be able to charge a phone from 0% to 100% or super fast, let alone fully charging more than one phone. This power bank is perfect to keep your phone charged all day long. Since it doesn’t add too much weight and since it's so slim, you can also easily carry and use your phone with the power bank on it, unlike other more powerful but bulkier and heavier power banks. For those with iPhones that include MagSafe technology, this power bank is even better since it has a very strong magnet that attaches securely to the back of the phone. I never felt nervous that my phone would fall while holding it from the attached power bank to take pictures, make phone calls or anything else. Detaching the power bank is also simple if you slide it first before pulling it out. If you just try to pull it out without sliding it first, you’ll have a lot of trouble trying to detach it! The ice on the cake is its versatile rotatable stand. I found it a little flimsy, so I’d be hesitant to carry my phone just by holding the stand for example. But it’s perfect for setting your phone on a table vertically or horizontally at several angles. It makes it handy for FaceTime, video conferences, or watching movies on a plane while your phone is getting charged for example. Something to make sure you know is that the power bank does Not come with a charger, only with a cable where both ends have a USB-C connector. That’s the same type of connector used for the iPhone fast chargers. That means you need to have a USB-C charger. As far as charging the power bank, it took between 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs for me from being completely depleted to fully charged. In case someone finds this helpful, here is a breakdown of the times it took to charge my iPhone from 10% to 80% at which point the power bank was fully depleted: 10% to 50%: 1hr 5 min 50% to 60%: 30min 60% to 75%: 33min Total time it took to charge my iPhone from 10% to 80%: 2hrs 08 minutes

TORRAS - Ostand Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh with 360° Rotatable Stand - Black Summary: Convenient multi-purposed stand that charges fast! Use: We have quite a number of charging bricks, but with the increasing count of MagSafe devices we are replacing our older lightning power cords. We also travel up to the mountains for hikes frequently and so need chargers for on-the-go-charging. This unit also functions as a stand, so that is a helpful benefit. Pros: * Compact. This unit is much smaller than older battery packs of its Amp-Hours. Makes it easy to carry around. * Sleek. Not only it is compact, the black look is sleek. * Efficient. Given its size, and of course Qi capabilities, this unit charged 30% of an iPhone 14 Pro Max inside of 30 minutes. That is a efficient for us. We have larger batteries that can do much better, but they are cabled. So we will likely continue to keep a mix of cabled and wireless chargers for various needs/use cases. * USB-C. This unit charges using USB-C cables and the higher the wattage the faster it recharges. Its so nice to consolidate cables! Cons: * Stand Ring. The pop out ring used to stand the charger is the same used on some Torras iPhone cases. Unfortunately, they didn't wear well and became flimsy and unable to support even just a phone after a few days of use. However, as convenient as the stand ring is, it isn't the primary feature we sought and so this isn't a deal-breaker for us.

Gets Hot and Fails to Fully Charge Phone

Enter the Torras Ostand Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAH. Out of the box, it looks great. It is slightly thicker than my Samsung phone in case, but small enough to fit in a carry-on bag. The O-Stand works well. If you are using an Apple iPhone with MagSafe, the pack snaps quickly to the back of the phone. But, on my Samsung Galaxy S22 and on a Pixel 6, wireless charging made the battery pack extremely hot to the touch. I never got a full charge on an Android or Apple phone before the battery pack ran out of juice. Whether I was using the pack via wire or wireless, charging left the battery pack empty well before my phone fully charged. As a result, I am mildly disappointed. Unboxing: Inside the box you get the battery pack and a small USB-C to USB-C cable. Experience: The pack charges relatively quickly. I never timed it, but it seemed to take around an hour to fully charge. Unfortunately, the power indicator lights are on the back of the charger. If you have the battery pack lying flat with your phone on top, you cannot see the battery light indicator. There is a power button located near the USB-C port. I am not sure why it is there, but I guess you could turn it off to save the battery pack. I just found the switch confusing because it did not seem to always register on or off. Testing: To evaluate the pack, I discharged my primary phone's battery to 25%. Then, with a full charge on the Torras Power Bank, I assessed the power bank once wired and once wirelessly with my Samsung Galaxy S22 and once wirelessly on an iPhone 14 Pro. While wireless charging with the Samsung Galaxy S22, I was surprised by how hot the battery pack and my phone got. The phone stopped charging at around 84% before the battery pack ran out of juice. Again, both the pack and my phone got ridiculously hot to the touch. Hot enough for me to be concerned. Wired charging fared a bit better. I got a bit more juice on my phone, but I still did not get a full charge. Wireless charging with the Apple iPhone 14 Pro performed much better. The temperatures would get warm and then cool off. This pack does feel more tailored for iPhone users than for Android users, but, again, I did not get a full charge from the battery pack. The pack has fast wireless charging and fast wired charging. It does not have Samsung’s Super Fast Charging, though. You can keep the battery pack plugged in and use it as a wireless charging pad if you choose, but if you would be better off just plugging your phone in at that point. Conclusion: I cannot truly recommend this battery pack. It looks cool. As a stand / charger for iPhones, I like the pack a bit better, but for Samsung phones, I was concerned about the heat. The biggest deal breaker for me is that I cannot fully charge my phones with the battery pack. That is disappointing and reason enough for me to not recommend the battery pack. 3/5 It will charge your phone….but maybe not fully.

The TORRAS is a small but might (and handy) portable charger that has impressed. The device has a max capacity of 5000 mAh. The charging has taken me around an hour, so that is not ideal, but for the type of accessories this is, it really should not bother many folks. I used this on my S24 for a while and had no issues. The 360-degree kickstand on the back is SUPER handy, as you can prop it up vertically or horizontally, depending on the need. Overall, I have no issues with this portable charger. It functions as it should, it has a very well-built kickstand, and I really could not ask for more. There is a power button at the bottom and led lights that show the power level of the device, so you do not have to guess how much power you have left. This will be the device I carry most days. I may buy another and leave it at work or in my car, just in case. If you do get this portable charger, do not let the charging speeds bother you, this is a “set it and forget it” type device once you place on the charger. You will reach for it next time you go out, and more than likely, will be fully charged.

The Torras Ostand magnetic power bank gives you convenient charging anywhere. The charger comes with a small usb-c to usb-c charging cable and the power bank. The device has four small indicator lights that show the percentage of battery charge on the back. The rotating stand on the back is really nice feature that rotates 360 degrees. Besides using it as a stand, it gives you a more secure grip while holding the phone. The magnet is incredibly strong while attached to the phone and easily stays attached even when using a case. Combined with my iPhone 14 Pro Max it held it securely in place and I never worried about the phone dropping when using only the stand to hold both. When using the stand to prop the phone up while charging, it held it the phone without any issues. While using it to charge my 14 pro max, it took about an hour and a half to charge it completely from 59%. While charging the phone the power bank dropped two indicator lights, which I assume is roughy half the battery. So on a 14 pro max size phone, it may not fully charge it from zero but will get it pretty close. The Torras Ostand is a convenient device to have when you’re on the go to maintain your phone’s battery.

I've had my fair share of portable chargers, but they were the more legacy style with micro USB or early Type-C. I never used a magnetic portable, but I've used the default apple wired charger made for my phone for the last couple years.. So I have a bit of experience in regards to what to expect in regards to heat output and charge rate... Lets get started! PROS: -Strong Magnet. This product is very good at sticking to the back of my apple case. I don't think anyone would have to worry about the magnet falling off the back when in use. -Can be used in magnet or USB-C mode to charge phone. The two way charging is a great feature. - 5000mAH battery. All day play that can double or triple use time on phone depending on wear and model you own. CONS: -Product gets quite hot leaving it on magnet to charge. Not sure if this is just my copy, but I'm not a fan of this, especially next to the default apple wired magnetic charger than is both cooler and quicker to charge from wall. I guess this is what the kick stand is intended for? Likely needs more dissipation of heat. -Bigger than IPhone 13 Mini. The overall design looks like its intended for an iPhone 6.1" + or Pro variant. (And or alternative 6"+ Android phones.) If you have a older smaller phone with magnetic charge, just be aware that it's not a perfect line up around phone, but the magnet DOES sit dead center without interfering with camera on a 13 mini official case. OVERALL: I'd say this is a decent charger, but I'm let down about the practicality of the charge rate in magnetic mode. I would recommend that people use this as a regular USB-C to Lighting or USB-C to USB-C charger to avoid heat issues or faster degradation on main battery. Going to give this a 3/5.. which I would consider average. Not special, but not terrible either. Just a decent product.

I have recently become a big fan of TORRAS products (you'll see in my pictures below, my phone is in a TORRAS case!) and found the Onstand Magnetic Power Bank to be very handy to have. Initial Thoughts: The TORRAS Onstand design - both for their case and this magnetic power bank - is incredibly versatile. The stand allows you to set the power bank up in pretty much any position you could imagine and also provides a nice way to hold the device to avoid drops, etc. You can slide your finger(s) into the stand for increased stability. The TORRAS Onstand power bank was able to charge multiple MagSafe devices (not just iPhones). I was able to charge my iPhone 15 Pro Max from about 50% to 100% in 74 minutes, which more than likely would have taken less time because I was intermittently using the phone while it was charging. Again, the nifty Onstand let's you use your device while it's charging! One note - the power bank and the device being charged does get warm to the touch. There are two things I wasn't thrilled with about this TORRAS power bank. I tested multiple plugs and USB-C wires, and found it just takes longer than I would have expected it to charge. My average from completely dead to 100% (or all lights on) ranged from 3-5 hours, depending on the plug/wire. Nothing necessary bad about this - just something to note. The only other issue I had with the power bank is the magnetic strength - which, could be a pro or a con, depending on your situation. In my case, the magnet was almost too strong, especially when I tried it on a regular-sized iPhone and a Pixel device. It was hard to pry it away from the MagSafe connection. Overall, I would give this 4.7 stars if I could. I would recommend it!

I have purchased many magnetic portable chargers from two of the large online retailers and they work just fine. However, when I received this charger, I immediately noticed the difference in quality. This charger has a very high quality aluminum body that just feels right in your hand. It even has a built in ring that folds in to provide a kick stand. The ring is very sturdy and has good friction to stay put. The ring does not serve as a grip however, although I am not sure it is supposed to. The power bank provides at least one charge on my phone. The power bank also features a dual function USB type C. You can charge the bank via the type C and you can also connect your device via the type C port. This is nice as most chargers only allow you to charge the bank via the type C port. The magnetic feature of the power bank is extremely durable. It is by far the strongest sticking power bank of any that I own. It snaps on and stays put to my case which also has a strong magnetic back as well. They pair very well together. Overall, I highly recommend this portable magentic power bank. It has a very strong magnet and a nice kick stand built in. It is easily my favorite portable power bank.

My Torras battery has already had quite a bit of use, as I frequently travel for work. I find the battery to be extremely useful on planes because of the built in swivel stand. The swivel is very sturdy, takes a bit of force to extend from the battery, and won’t give or slide while using… that is, as long as you aren’t using the Torras swivel case. I currently am using the case version of this battery, with the built in swivel, which works identical to the battery. However, when paired together, my phone case swivel causes my battery to also swivel. If not for the extruding portion around my camera lens, the battery would spin a full 360. This makes the device a bit less reliable when using as a stand. Strength wise, the magnet is very powerful, and will stay adhered to your MagSafe phone no matter what you are doing. The battery also features a nice indicator light to let me know the charge status, as well as a USB-C input or charging, which is ideal. Overall, I like it, and if I didn’t have the matching case, I would love it!
