It is louder than expected and not much distortion at max volume. i would recommend it. perfect for a dorm room.

Toshiba mini book shelf stereo/cd system

I wanted a mini stereo receiver/ cd player that would fit nicely on my home entertainment tv stand. This Toshiba is a perfect size and the sound quality is great!

One cd playing at a time

You don’t want to be in the bedroom the rest of your life. So, one Cd to play at a time is good for me.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the sound is just ok not as good as some of the other reviews say i can live with it the problem is the remote is small hard to use and handle and you might as well not even use it because you have to point it right at the stereo it would also be nice to have the memory presets for radio stations numbered instead of having to go up and down through every one

Not Toshiba's Best Product

The speakers are of poor quality, base is mushy. IR remote control to the unit is not the best, must be a direct aim to the receiver port.

Did not see pre set in description. Remote is pretty small and not the easiest to use. But the sound is good in our house and that's what matters
