The image is clear and sharp. Nice darks, the HDR is not super strong but very noticeable, way better that my Samsumg 40" which doesn't have it. The "soap opera" effect that plagues cheap 4K TVs is rare, and when it happens it can be easily fixed by disabling the "clearframe" advanced picture option (the name of Toshiba's anti-blur technology). Built-in Chromecast works smoothly, I just miss being able to turn my TV on using the connected Chromecast that is never turned off, but it is not a big deal. Great TV, I already returned a Visio once that was more expensive and have terrible blacks and very annoying "soap opera" effect. Recommended.

Had no idea TV was really this good! Very easy to use, no complicated things with the remote, takes up so much less space than what I had and looks so much better!

Tv has a beautiful picture. I am not high tech but this tv is easy to use. It comes loaded with screen saver pictures or you can upload your own. The set up was a breeze. The volume is fantastic. We did purchase a HDMI cord. No other accessories were needed.

So mom needed a better TV that was going to give her access to all her streaming channels and the ability to plug-in a couple of other devices. I was concerned that the TV wouldn't quite meet the grade color wise but boy was I wrong... and happy to be wrong. The price usually is indicative of the quality of the product and that was a major misgiving! Not only was it less expensive than I thought it should be for a quality TV but the size, picture quality and ease of use makes it a dream for mom!

I specifically bought this TV for the Chromecast feature. So far its provided what I need. The is pretty good, but not fantastic, but for the minimal amount I paid for this TV, it's OK. Sound quality is not perfect, but I've found that it's above average, again good for the low price of the TV.

Got this on the Black Friday Doorbuster. The picture quality is amazing, has hdmi arc which made it extremely easy to pair my insignia soundbar. Setting it up was a 2 minute job. I noticed that it up-scales picture very well, I also have another SHARP 55inch 4k tv, but a 1080p video looks better on this one for sure. Built in chromecast makes life easier but you need a smartphone with you to view anything. A few built in apps would have been nicer.

I purchased the Toshiba 55-inch 4K TV on a Black Friday special, and the whole experience was outstanding. The purchase process was well-organized, the item was loaded into my vehicle for me, and at home, it came out of the box practically ready to go. A cable connection and a blu-ray player hook-up had me in business. The picture is sharp, the color is excellent and the sound is clear. I'm very happy with the purchase.,

High resolution, big size, cheap price, chromecast built-in, nice product

So happy to have gotten this TV and at an absolutely amazing price on Black Friday! Love love love the built-in Chromecast! So cool to be able to control the TV with my phone. The clarity and quality are crystal clear, 4K is awesome! The only complaint is the TV foot design, but at least they aren't set as wide apart as others and do just barely fit on the TV stand.

This is a pretty good TV for the price. I bought it because it went on sale and for the price 55" was a good deal. The picture quality is good and I especially like the fact that I can use Chromecast without connecting an external device.

The description does not mention it, but this 4K television also has HDR capabilities. The picture is excellent and 4K content really pops. The Onkyo speakers also produce enough rich and vibrant sound. I don't think we need a soundbar for this setup.

This has chrome cast which is nice if you watch a lot of YouTube. It has no apps on it ( the tv makers want you to stream everything from your phone now) . If you have a amazon account to watch movies it isn’t going to happen on this tv without buying a fire stick. It does have a nice picture most of the time , however it gets real blurry from time to time and I have to turn it off and back on again or reset the tv to factory levels which is pain because then you have to redo the chrome cast setup again. If you just want a cheap tv to watch , this will do however if you want more from your tv look at something else.

We got this TV as an open box deal so it was a great purchase (price-wise) for us. At first it was restarting itself and losing our WiFi connection occasionally and randomly, but now it seems to be doing good and it's picture is great! NOTE: We didn't realize this at first but it's not technically a "Smart TV". It has built in chromecast which means you can't just pickup the remote and browse netflix/hulu. You have to use your smart phone and "Cast" your show onto the TV or if you have Google Home, that'll cast Netflix, YouTube and Music to your TV. I still think it's great and it's really not that much of a hassle to use your phone since you basically have it with you all the time anyway!

Good tv. Perfect size for our living room. Great picture quality, slim design, discreet stands. Chrome cast built in works with both Android and Apple. Both types of devices sync to the tv very well

Very good quality video and sound for the price. Sometimes black coloring can look funny but it can be corrected with settings. Nice tv for those looking to break into 4K

I purchased this TV few weeks ago and i have to say that I'm very pleased with the features it offers. The Built-in Chromecast feature is just great an easy to use. this allowed me to move my original chromecast dongle into another room. setup was fairly straight forward and the picture and sound are great.

To cast to this TV from your phone takes FOREVER and then it doesn’t hold the cast when it finally connects. Like literally, the TV will drop the cast and your devices won’t be able to pick up the cast from this TV because it doesn’t show up when you search for it. And I tried to search and connect to the cast on this on numerous devices. It doesn’t work. You’d be better of getting the Google Chrome stick and plugging that into a regular tv (I know because I currently have a chrome stick plugged into my regular tv and it works perfectly). Additionally, I plugged my Amazon fire stick to this TV and when I try watch something on the internet through livestream, it doesn’t work there either. It’s funny how I can do this function on a regular tv that I plug my fire stick into, but on this “smart” TV, I experience sooooo many issues and it doesn’t plays the livestream broadcast in the end. I thought a smart TV would mean more capabilities than the regular ones, but this by far, has been the worst experience having a “smart “ tv in our home. Back to regular TVs for us.

I got this tv on door buster sales and was very surprised at how easy Chromecast is to use on your cell phone I don’t have cable for this tv and it’s a 4K and has a clear sharp picture ... I’m so thrilled to be able to get Netflix and vudu on tv without cable . 55 in and cost 279.00 what a bargain ...
