Very nice and compact external hard drive. There are no detailed instructions other than through the process of installing it but I was able to get through it without any problems. Worked perfectly and smoothly.

Not crazy about Toshiba products, but this hard drive has worked fantastically for well over a month now. I would have given this 5 stars had the hard drive come with a USB Y cable for ports that can not power the drive. Otherwise, you can't go wrong

With our computer about to bite it, my wife and I decided to purchase this hard drive. We've had two WD drives in the past, neither of which lasted a year. Thus far it's worked really well. We backed up about 500gb of data in under an hour.

Performed well, almost silent. Some people buy external USB drives for the SATA drive inside because it's cheaper than buying a SATA drive, but that can't be done with this product because the internal drive is also USB.

It appears to be a good product with very poor written instructions. For some reason, computer people think that all users are experts. I am not. Purchased because of recommendation to backup all of the data installed. Was unsure as to what to buy, just had to guess.

I bought this hard drive when it was on sale at Best Buy. Once I got it, plugged in to my PC and backed up a lot of pictures, MP3 and other files to this drive. The transfer was fast enough.

Came as described and was smaller than I had anticipated for this much memory. Was plug and play so, i had started copying data within 2mins of receiving it.

Everyone should be aware of the need for regular backup of data. This external hard drive does the job! And it is fast!
