Solid unit. Very portable. Average to slightly above average read speed. Works great with my MacBook Pro 13" w/retina display. I use it to carry my media on the go with me. 500GBs of music and movies is a nice luxury to have with you at all times. Unfortunately, I did not wait for apple to release the new MacBooks with a built in 1TB hard drive.

It's well designed with a metal exterior rather than plastic. As a bonus, it includes the Tuxera utility to install on OS X if you want to write to NTFS drives.

We were just looking for a hard drive that we could collapse all of our pictures off of various other computers onto. This one works great and looks great.

I travel and write a lot. This external drive has huge capacity and fits easily into any pocket in my briefcase. Perfect device for business travelers!

I am very impressed with this 1TB Hard Drive. It's very easy to use. Simply plug and play and you're on your way. It's great because my wife kept on losing her music, photos, and documents from crashing PC's. She's happy knowing that her information is safe and secure on this device. Definitely worth the money if you think about the loss of data that may occur if you don't back it up.

Works great for backup. Using it for my Xbox one since the hard drive on the xbox is full. Quick to set up, no issue at all. I would buy this again.

I'm using on a MacBook Pro with Time Machine for complete HD back ups. Unpack, connect to USB, (cable included) start time Machine. It's that simple.

This is a great external hard drive for backing up your computer or keeping files handy wherever you go. The small size allows it to fit almost anywhere.

I had a Toshiba external drive a while back, and this one is like an old friend. toshiba makes some of thefts external drives, and this is one I'm very pleased with. Though USB 3.0 is still weird, I would recommend it to take advantage of faster read/write speeds. Until SSDs are more cost effective, I'll be sticking with this one. sleek, modern, and competitively priced? I'll take it!

Have purchased 5 of these over the last few years and never had a problem. That is why I keep buying them.

I had an WD but this one was much easier to install to my computer plus it gives to additional Cloud backup free with updates well worth the price.

I read the reviews for the Toshiba external drive on the Best Buy website and decided to purchase one. Im glad I did. The price was right and Im very satisfied with the product.

worked as expected.. i like the slim and compact design. Ive used it for storing movies and pictures, no issue encountered. Fast transfer of file.

Currently use this hard drive for extra space on my xbox one. Games run fast and smooth. The HD is reliable haven't had an issue in several months.

Cant ask for more , price was great , n storage capacity was way more than I would ever need , n I have 8800 pics on my cell phone alone , my computer is a whole other animal , and it stored all n still has plenty of space to go

Very good price for this product. It's very easy to use and meets the needs for an external hard drive. Great for use with an iMac computer.

This was the perfect travel size for me to take almost an entire TB of movies and music with me anywhere I want. I am able to take it on the plane and plug it right into my tablet. I can also just use it to take movies over to a friends house to watch if I don't feel like lugging my laptop around.
