This is a simple and affordable hard drive .. I purchased it because it works with my Mac and window computer.. It was on sale as well that was another main factor!

This 1 TB Hard Drive was exactly what I needed to store all my important information on. It works great and very easy to connect.

Used this hard drive for the past 3 months and love it so far. It's very portable, doesn't require a power cord, and comes with a small carrying case. Debating on buying another one as another source of backup.

The Toshiba 1GB drive was affordable and quite compact. The USB3.0 interface provides a speedy data transfer. It has a stylish stainless steel case that looks good next to my laptop of similar finish.

The Toshiba - Canvio Slim II is a sleek design with plenty of storage space to use a backup for my MacBook pro. I've had great success with Toshiba drives in the past and this one is no different.

Bought this to go with a new Toshiba laptop. So far so good. Easy hookup, fast transfer, tons of memory. Its all good.

This is my second one. I purchased one for myself, but this last buy was for my son headed off to college. I already knew how great it was and wanted him to have all the space he need for projects and papers. The smaller drives are too delicate, they get lost or forgotten places, and they fill up too quickly. I don't have those concerns with this external drive. I write A LOT of papers and I save even more pictures. This is an excellent value for the product and the price.

This device is very slim and compact, with lots of capacity. The perfect portable drive for any use. Great for transporting media files, etc.

My new dell laptop has limited onboard memory and I am using to keep files and programs stored. No issues with this drive, I have used Toshiba external drives for storage in the past four years with no issues to date.

IT IS TOUGH ENOUGH TO BE CARRIED AROUND IN MY BACK POCKET (BUT I PROBABLY WOULD NEVER BE DUMB ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY DO THIS). The brushed aluminum case is REALLY solid and REALLY adds a great deal of additional protection to the 9mm "Winchester"-type HDD contained within, when compared to a molded plastic "shell" case. This is the third Toshiba Canvio Slim II USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Disk Drive (HDD) I've purchased. I currently own two other Canvio Slim II (500 GB) drives: One each in the silver AND the black anodized brushed aluminum cases. I purchased them as external backup drives for my gi-normously voluminous collection of music (and concert) videos (120 plus GBs) and music files "digitized" from CDs (35K music files and counting, 125 plus GBs), as well as, my huge collection of photos (30K plus now) and ALL the documents related thereto. ... These "collections" represent more than 15 years worth of work now, and I would NOT trust their long-term storage security to any other portable external HDDs other than the Toshiba Canvio series drives! - My oldest Canvio drive is now 5 plus years old: It is ALWAYS plugged into my computer AND HAS NEVER SKIPPED EVEN A SINGLE BEAT! I'm using this silver 1 TB external HDD as my "backup" AND "secondary" storage drive for my brand new Lenovo G50-45 Windows 10 computer. I have partitioned it into a 500 GB drive for system/files backup AND a 431 (+/-) GB drive for secondary "media" files storage. I HAVE NEVER FELT SAFER about having ONLY ONE BACKUP drive than when I started using this particular Toshiba Canvio Slim II 1 TB, USB 3.0 External HDD!!!

It is small with a lot of storage space. It is easy to carry around or store as it doesn't take up much space. An excellent and very simple back up option for your files or information.

Very well sized. Slim and weight perfect well. Just as I was looking for. And size of memory well worth it.
