I do have a few HDDs and yes, all of them a Toshiba, due to others have failed on me one by one... Toshiba does provide a reliable hard disc drive in the size what you need... Highly recommended, specially for $50 when its on sale... :)

I absolutely love this portable hard drive. My 1st one after careful consideration and viewing other external hard drives. Stylish, cute, compact, and stores all of my pictures and music in one place. I am in love after my 2 brothers completely destroyed my pc and all of my momentos were lost.

I haven't had the chance to check if everything was really backed up to this external drive. But all I did was plug in the USB and click on a few prompts and almost immediately it seems to have saved everything. If it was that quick and easy than it is great. I have lots of files, pictures and songs and it seems to have saved it all. Lots of space. Great deal for the price. Other external drives were a lot more money.

Love this product. Have bought two of it. They are significantly better than my other external hard drives (of other brands). I'm satisfied using this product in our media studios. I also take one with me when I travel anywhere.

It is a very good product. The design is very nice and very cool. This product is easy to use. The best of this product is compatible with my iMac . I think the price are reasonable. I think it will be great if there are other color to chose , such as pink , red or purple for a girl or lady.

This slim external drive is fast and feels very well constructed. But what really sold me is the 3-year warranty. Toshiba's warranty demonstrates their confidence that the drive is well made and reliable -a warranty that their competitors cannot or will not offer.

I bought this item for my Mother for Christmas and she loved it! The item was small and sleek! I particularly loved the "security code" feature that the product offered. With 1 TB, there was plenty of room for her to back-up her photos and other documents from her computer!

For the price, this portable 1tb hard drive is a great deal. Pretty easy to use. The initial backup took about 8 hours which I knew from reading other reviews, so no big deal. I'm hoping my next backup will be a bunch quicker since it will be skipping files.

The Capabilities of storage have come along way in the last couple of years. and this one is perfect, It is exceptionally portable and easy to pack and will hold all of my work projects for several years to come.

I bought this hard drive for more storage for my Xbox one so I wanted something that would look good sitting on top of it as well as get the job done. Alas, it does both, and couldnt be happier with my purchase.

This works like a charm with my new Macbook. It transfers files quickly as well. It even stores my iTunes files and plays them directly from the drive. My only minor complaint is the box said it came with 10 GB of cloud storage and I do not know how to access or set that up. With 1TB of storage on the actual hard drive though I doubt I'm going to need the extra 10 GB anytime soon.

Great hard drive. I have only owned it for a couple months but it is working smoothly. I had to install a program for it to work on my macbook pro but it took less than 5 minutes and it works perfectly.

Very happy with this product - just plug it in, and now I have an extra TB of disk space. Nice and fast. And very sleek / cool looking, which is why I chose this one over all the other ones.

This Toshiba drive is everything the other reviewers say. It is great looking, well designed, good capacity, at a very very good price. Easy to set up (I have a Mac) and easy to partition.

It has a very sturdy feeling metal casing that looks very high quality. It is very slim and small in dimensions, roughly the size of a modern smartphone. Transfer rates with this device are very quick. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have a lot of music, pictures and videos so I needed this external hard drive to store everything. Looks great with my modern furniture

nice compact size with large storage capacity. I was glad this was recommended to me by Geek Squad employee. Looks sleek and is small so does not take up much room. I can place in on tower and no onw even knows it's there.

I love the fact this holds 1TB of info, and is powered through the USB. I comes with some extras like a password lock and VPN accessible. Only reason I didn't give 5 was I needed to install the driver from Toshiba's webpage. The HDD is suppose to have it and be accessible, but my PC never found it. Installed and works fine now.
