Great laptop, especially for it's price!!

The reviews were okay, but it would be my first laptop and I did not know what to expect. This is AWESOME. I can watch movies or videos, even in HD, and nothing stalls or glitches. I can have tons of tabs open (for schoolwork I usually need AT LEAST 4-5) and this laptop takes it like a champ. Also, the speed is awesome. Certainly not a regretted purchase AT ALL.

Really Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was time to replace my Toshiba laptop that finally died after five years,so I purchased another Toshiba. I have been truly disappointed. I came into Best Buy to return it four days after the deadline and so it is unfortunately mine. If I had been able to return it last week, I'd be rid of it. Avoid this laptop. Problems aplenty! Wish Best Buy would help me be rid of it...

Since I don't know what symptom(s) you're experiencing I'll just refer you to Toshiba support at support.toshiba.com and by phone at 800-457-7777 for troubleshooting help and, if needed, to make warranty repair arrangements.

I understand that you've already returned the unit. I hope you'll update your review if you replace it with the same model to let us know how you like a normally working Satellite C55-B5242X once you've had the opportunity to use it for awhile.
