Solid but not quite what I wanted

Overall and for the price, this is a pretty good little computer. Nice and light, and the 12.5" screen is of good quality and big enough for most tasks. Can convert to tablet mode with ease and was comfortable in all the situations I used it. Battery life was OK. Not great, but not bad like many of the reviews for the 4K screen model. The downfall of this device is the track pad and keyboard. While the touchscreen makes the finicky, cheap feeling touchpad that almost feels like it has wood grains running along it not too big of a deal, I often found my self accidentally clicking things when using it. The keyboard is cramped with short keys that make it very awkward to keep your fingers centered, and the 'A' key seemed almost unreachable in its configuration. The cooling fan was also frequently very loud, even from just performing light tasks, scaring me into thinking this machine may not be a keeper. Overall though, this computer is light, with a nice screen and a nice price, but certainly has its drawbacks

Runs well but has some issues

This laptop is actually pretty powerful. The processor works great. Has good storage space. The screen looks great. Overall you do get a lot for the price. I have had a couple of little issues. First, the keyboard layout is kind of strange. Some keys are smaller than others. And that accent symbol that is normally near the "1" is moved to near the spacebar. So I hit that sometimes by accident. But overall typying does feel pretty good on it. A bigger issue is the touchpad. It is kind of buggy, If I try to move the cursor just a little bit, it won't move. So I add move movement and then it will jump. It just seems kind of jumpy and unresponsive at times. So I dread using it when I have to. The last issue that I had was the wifi would go into limited access (wouldn't get internet) whenever I restarted or brought it up from sleep. But, There was an update and it doesn't seem to be doing it anymore the last day or so. So hopefully that fixed it. Overall I would recommend this laptop for the right price. If you can get it on sale for less than $700, and you don't care about those minor issues, I do recommend it. For $800+, I wouldn't get it.

the computer could connect to the Internet. I loved the look and feel of the laptop. Light, portable, fast and stylish. It was the best product on the market for the price. However, after spending two days trying to get Internet access with every trick in the book, the computer was returned. Even the Toshiba "expert" recommended that I take it back. There are compatibility issues with Windows 10. Although I was able to download (from another computer) and then upload the newest version of Windows 10, not having an Ethernet port is a negative because then you can't get any updates that may have fixed the problem. Keep your eye out for this laptop in the future, but don't buy it yet!

    BEST 2-in-1 for the Price!

I bought this for my upcoming international trip and so far, I'm totally loving it! The brush metal and the thin profile look classy and chic. When I buy any laptop, the first thing I check is how the keyboard feels when I type. By far, this feels the best to type with. It's super fast and almost ergonomically perfect. I was worried about all negative reviews regarding the touchpad failing. But this might be due to a very simple thing. The F5 button dual function as on/off switch for the touchpad. I accidently pressed it and didn't know at the time, but I thought shoot the touchpad is not working! I rebooted it several times and updated the driver but didn't work. Then I noticed the F5 button's dual function. Sure enough it was as simple as turning it back on! LOL. I don't know why anyone would want to turn off the touchpad to begin with so it's kind of a useless function, especially you don't even need to press another key like "function" to turn it on/off. I bet that for some people, it could be as simple as that because there's no way the touchpad could fail that easily. Anyway, I love my Radius!

Despite only having only 5 reviews prior to buying this laptop, I went ahead and purchased it anyway. Having previously owned a toshiba protege in 2012 also purchased from Best Buy and that has worked out well. I decided to stick with the same. This laptop is light, versatile and very responsive. The price point is also worth it for the size and speed! Go for it!

Awesome 2in1 laptop. It has dual channel ram which makes its graphic performance amazing getting average of 65 - 90 fps on Guild Wars 2 on medium settings! This thing is a beast. Super light weight and screen size is perfect! I thought it would be too small but I was wrong its perfect. I use it as my Ereader, Gaming, school work. Download Blue Stacks so you can run all your Android apps on this because windows apps are garbage. This laptop beats all the other 2 in 1 computers hands down.

    Absolutely Love It.

I absolutely love this laptop. The touchscreen is great. Had a few issues tho but nothing catastrophically serious or anything of that nature. I only wish that the speakers would have more depth to the spectrum of sound, but I don't think that I could ever be fully satisfied with that unless I was front row at a concert or at the Imax theater. Realistically I have unrealistiunrealistic expectations for sure with the limitations that my financial stability will allow but other than that I have no complaints for now.

    Terrible QC, Bad build

I'm on my 5th replacement of this laptop, and each and every one develops the exact same issue: the touchpad becomes unresponsive. Might be a grounding issue, might be a driver issue. Toshiba doesn't know and doesn't care, don't spend hours on the phone like I did trying to troubleshoot it. These touchpads are listed a generic HID Microsoft touchpads, but have Synaptics processors, so who knows what's actually going on under the hood. Deleting and reinstalling the drivers does nothing. And then, in about a week, the hinges start to go to. That's happened to 3 of the 6 I've had. Number 6 is going back as well, and I'll try a 7th, if only because I got an amazing price on this, but it's a huge problem (the touchpad) and a known defect that no one has any workarounds for except connecting an external mouse. The screen and the sound are phenomenal. The screen wobbles a bit when typing, and the fan can be a little noisy from time to time, but barely above the level of ambient room sounds for the most part. The case sometimes has some flex, which it really shouldn't with an aluminum body. It's thin and light, and the wifi is rock solid, and with the 6th gen. i5 and SSD it screams doing everyday tasks, but it's all sizzle and no steak with the flaws in the hardware and the overall bad build quality. Avoid this, and all other, Toshiba computers. Not worth the headaches.

Love the laptop! The battery life is longer than my old surface 2. Last about 9 hours give or take a few. I have had my laptop for 1 month so far everything is working great on it.

touchpad issues after 1-1/2 weeks, other quirks

got this on a really great sale price, so it's a bit hard to not like it having trouble getting used to the lip/edge around the keyboard -- hard ridge that can dig into palms while typing, very poor (and unique) design feature. the 2k screen is a bit overkill on a 12" -- tried setting to lower resolution for greater readability (~1366x768) but screen lost a fair degree of sharpness almost decided to keep it, but this morning the touchpad started to fail intermittently -- would not move the pointer, but sometimes would recognize taps and the two integrated buttons -- would sometimes go away and never come back. rebooted several times (warm and cold), issue persisted. attempting to reset and return for exchange, but reset keeps failing, so i have to invest more time in a manual cleanup system before taking it back.

So far it has turned out to be a good product where both laptop and tablet functionalities can be used without any major issues. While using as a tablet though, the keys feel a little funny.

    Screen broke off

This is a great laptop. It looks cute, and works fast even while live streaming. However, in less than a year the screen has broken off and no longer works. The option to use it as a tablet is a nice idea theoretically, but it was a waste of money considering how unsturdy the laptop is.

I like the small footprint of the laptop and it can be converted to a tablet. It has 256 GB hard drive.
