I have had this phone for about two months and it has run very well with no lock ups/freezes. It has a good display and fast quad-core processor. The battery is pretty good. If you start out with a full charge in the morning, moderate use will run the battery to about 70% by 5 pm; with heavy use around 50%. The keyboard for email and texts has voice recognition built in so it’s easy to send out texts/emails without typing. The camera is a 5 MP back and 1.2 MP front and is decent for the price but not great. It has almost no bloatware on it and comes with mainly the Google suite of apps (Gmail, Maps, Music, Books, Google+, etc). You will have to download a calculator and voice recorder from Google Play if you need those types of apps. Finally, it has a replaceable battery and an micro SD card slot (up to 32g) which are becoming harder to find on many phones. Overall, this is a pretty good phone and should serve the needs of most people fairly well.

This phone came at a great price, is easy to use and takes great pictures. For the price, I expected less quality, but was pleasantly surprised. The set up wizard is thorough and user friendly. You can rearrange your icons on the home screen. Syncing with Google Drive was a breeze. I'd say this is a great phone for consumers like me, who want some of the basic functionality of a smartphone, and aren't drawn to the "big name" (and big ticket) gadgets. Truth be told, this LG does better with pics, videos, social media, etc, than my Kindle Fire - and at a much lower purchase price.

I love this phone. Its so easy to use, even for a beginning user like me. Lots of storage for apps & pictures. Just the right size screen , not too big not too small. Perfect prepaid phone, with no worries of a contract or high monthly bill.

I am,as always, completely impressed with Best Buy . For quite a few years now I have made it a habit to only purchase electronics/phones/ movies/ cds etc etc at Best Buy. I will not waste my time anywhere else, a few more associates on the weekends would be about the only recommendation that I could make, Worth the wait for the service that I receive. Great phone also , easy to navigate , great battery life, price and on and on and on.

I love this smartphone. I was skeptical because I never owned a smartphone. This is very simple to use and the cost was so much better than the higher priced ones. It seems to be able to do everything those $500 phones can do. Takes great pictures and battery time is great depending on the amount of time you spend on it. Would definitally buy another if needed.

This is my first "smart" phone and I wanted to have the luxury to pay monthly for the phone service without a service contract. So far this LG Transpyre 4G smart phone by Verizon has worked very well for me. Once I get used to all the functions and gadgets that this little phone has... (and it's a lot for the price)... it should be a very useful phone to have with me at all times... looks cool too!

I've had this phone a couple of weeks, not yet activated on pre-paid Verizon plan, but I have used it every day. The battery is quite good - I turned off unneeded apps; battery is lasting 3 to 4 days, even when I use Wi-Fi & watch youtube clips. I LOVE the screen - Gorilla Glass plus some sort of coating so no fingerprints show - amazing!
The screen is big enough to see well, texting will be a breeze & my Google contacts already came over, since I can sync my Android devices (tablet). I'm sure once I activate the Transpyre will perform well as a phone for calls as well. I almost always have 3-5 bars, even in our rural home outside of Tallahassee FL.

This is the first time I have ever been dissapointed in LG.
No calculator with a phone for the first time. Even my old flip phones had it. Had to go to Google store and get one. I use mine everyday.
Can't find any way to determine how many text messages I have for the first time ever. Who wants to count text messages to see how many are there? If u dont care its no big deal, I do and So do others I know. I am use to seeing how many are there so I know if I need to delete some. The only setting is for the number it reaches before it starts deleting them.
If it does not matter to you that there are no Basic items installed then it's an ok phone.
Also, 4G does not always work. I am often on 3G with a 4G plan?
At times I look at my data and see it has increased greatly and it's because it's WiFi is off?
It does take nice pictures and video.
I guess I just expected too much because I always considered LG to ne a great product.

I use this smartphone as a Wi-Fi device only – no phone service. With a microSD card installed this phone has plenty of memory for downloaded apps and music. Very comfortable to hold and solid battery life. Great for Skype calls using Wi-Fi.

I'm so pleased with my new LG Transpyre. This phone is so easy to use and it takes terrific photos. It's a perfect size. I'm happy with the occasional texts telling me things such as "Your service has been set up...." And my Verizon service is awesome.

This phone is still new to me, so it's hard to give it a perfect rating, but I haven't really had any buggy issues as of yet, which is to be expected since it is one of the more expensive phone options. The camera is actually really decent, and there's facial recognition, so the security is great. It's certainly better than my last phone, but we'll just have to see if it stands the test of time, as each of my pre-paid phones have not lasted even a year before starting to have issues.

Great phone, especially for the price. Phone was very inexpensive and I had previously purchased an identical one but it was dropped in the pond so I had to purchase another and was pleased to find the price was even less than the first purchase. Easy to navigate and user friendly.

I'm not big on smart phones but this one is pretty decent. The camera isn't all that great but it gets the job done, but the front facing camera is on the worse side. I have a lot of apps and it hasn't slowed down but that's thanks to an external sd card. Also before you buy this phone it also has a SIM card so if you had a phone without one you might want to go online and set your phone up instead of trying to set it up from the phone.
The power button is also sensitive that and there is no home button everything is touch screen. With that being said get a screen protector and case immediately.
But in the end it's still a pretty decent phone for how much it cost.
