Customers value the Motorola Moto E 4G for its long battery life, affordable price, and good camera quality. Many appreciate its ease of use, 4G LTE capabilities, and screen size. However, some users experienced performance issues and found the storage capacity to be limited. The lack of a flash on the camera was also noted as a drawback by a few customers.

Excellent phone if you get it under $50

I was able to purchase this phone on sale for $40 and it might be one of the best hardware purchases at that price. The battery life on this phone is outstanding. It can go 2-3 days without charging. It comes with android 5.0 and can be upgraded to 5.1. This phone can also be used with AT&T and it's MVNOs right out of the box, no unlocking necessary, and it gets LTE.
The processor is not the fastest, and it has some issues multitasking but for $40 it can't be beat. I like the 4.5" form factor, I think anything above a 5" screen is too large. This phone, with it's combination of size and battery life is probably the best phone under $100

I bought this for my kid to use and if he breaks or loses it, which is what happened with his previous iphone hand me down he forgot on the bus, I won't feel as bad cause this is so affordable compared to the iphone I could replace it 10xs and still be under what iphones cost.. Amazing what you can get these days in android that is really functional and not feel at to great a loss in comparison to the iphone.. Has good battery life, microsd slot, and amazing functionality. Only negs are the camera is missing a flash, which is a silly thing to not put in. But for the price it's an acceptable loss.

I needed a new phone because my old one was broken. This phone was inexpensive, has great reception, works well in any area signal does not fade. It has a front/rear camera & takes nice pics! The internet works great. However, I did notice the phone goes from 4g to 3g depending on the area. Overall its a great phone.

Phone has some really good features for an inexpensive device. It is fairly easy to navigate and after a fairly short time I was able to access things that were impossible with my last phone. There are a couple of things that keep it out of the 5 star category but overall I am happy with this product.

I bought this as a backup phone and it was worth every cent when my Nexus 5 died suddenly. This phone isn't as fast, as pretty or thin as the Nexus but it made up for it in battery life. This phone is fast enough to do what you need it to do and with enough battery to let you do it all day long. The FM radio was an unexpected perk that helped me to save some of my limited data.
It is unlocked (just like all Verizon LTE phones) but requires ADB to show ATT/Tmo options (and only supports V LTE bands but HSPA+ is plenty fast).

I bought this as a backup phone for my current Moto G. The price was good for a backup phone, at about the quarter of the cost of my Moto G. It basically has all the features of my Moto G. I was able to use this phone with a T-Mobile SIM card after changing some settings.

This phone is great, however, it has its pro and cons. Great battery life, good camera for price. Wish the screen was a little bigger. I like that the phone has a SD card slot and Sim slot that is hidden from view.

This phone is really easy to use and is perfect for anyone who wants a smart phone without a contract. It has excellent online help right from the phone. I would recommend this phone to anyone and the Verizon coverage is excellent. The only complaint I have is it is really hard to get a hold of a real live person at Verizon to speak to.

I bought this phone as a replacement for an LG that I dropped in the water. This phone has lived up to the Motorola reputation of being reliable and easy to use. After a couple of days getting used to Lollipop I was able to use this phone just as well as my previous one and I fell in love with how easy it is to use this phone. If you are looking for a good smart phone with plenty of features this is the phone to get.

I bought this phone as a backup and love everything about it. While it may not be the top of the line, it has a great sceen, screen size, and it runs 4g data speeds. Very happy with this purchase and will recommend to others.

LTE, CDMA/GSM Support, SD Card slot.
Lot to like for this phone.
Very smooth after updating to 5.1.
Not having a camera flash (and thus no flashlight) is about the only thing that I miss compared to my old phone.

This phone is great for anyone who wants smartphone abilities without a contract or a huge price. The setup app was simple to use. The one con is the autocorrect during texting can be a bit frustrating.

This is a good value phone that performs well for the price. It comes with a newer version of android that looks nice. The screen doesn't have the highest resolution but is good for the price you pay.

If you're looking for a top of the line phone, this is not the one for you. This is a good Android phone for people not concerned about cutting edge features, but gets the job done at a great price.

I purchased the Moto E about two months ago. So far it has been an acceptable device to use until I can accord something a little larger such as the 1+2 or maybe the next Nexus phone.
The battery on this thing is pretty great though - I mean I can go multiple days without needing to charge it, which is certainly something I want to do with every future phone I purchase.

This phone is great and easy to unlock for GSM networks (search the xda developers forum for Moto E). I suggest T-Mobile if you want a less expensive plan and are okay with their coverage. But if you need lots of coverage and want advanced "XLTE" where it's available then go with Verizon. If you already have a postpaid account, just pop your current sim in before you ever turn on the phone. If you have a nano sim currently, just ask verizon to switch you out a micro on your account. You might even be able to get them to use the one that already comes in this phone by calling their customer service, but I'm not totally sure on that.

The phone is wonderful. I think moto E is the best quad core for the money. Not all the bells and whistles, but up to date software, quad core, and efficient use of memory.
