The phone has all the features that the person I got this for needed or wanted, and she loves how it works. The problem is finding a case for it. Some cases advertised for the J1 don't fit at all. Others interfere with the mic pickup. I'm sure she will find one somewhere that will do.

This is my first smart phone and I am quite pleased with it. It has just the features I want and it's easy to use. Oh, and the price as spot-on!

I do wish I had not bought this phone. It is by far the worst phone I have ever owned & I have been buying cell phones since 1998!! I cannot get used to it. It does things I dont want it to do & then it wont do the things I do want it to do!! There are too many steps to take to make a simple phone call, & texting on it is also too complicated, even when I dictate a msg, there are too many complications, simply too many steps for everything. I have had it for over a month & cannot get used to it. I do not like it at all.

Verizon Prepaid - Samsung Galaxy J1 4G LTE with 8GB Memory Prepaid Cell Phone - Blue . My previous same model was run over by a car. I was extremely to be able to purchasr the same model fron Best BUY!

I purchase this prepaid phone only because it was on clearance and it was for my niece who only needed it to use with WiFi. The phone works fine for watching YouTube and browsing the Internet.

This phone is very good and compares to the Apple 5 and 6 offers except this is a pay by the month one. The applications available for this phone are just as good as the ones available for the Apple. Having been an Apple 4, 5 and 6 user. I find this phone just as good.

It 's good, and cheap, but unfortunately it was not excepted by my phone company with discounted rates for the phone plans, so I had to return the phone. Other than that the phone itself is good.

I am a simple girl. The more detailed something is the less I will like it. So far I have had a great experience with this new phone and hope to keep it for at least a year or 2.

The Samsung J1 phone is a basic smartphone with great features. Sometimes the volume is not effective on the phone but it is great for someone who wants a starter smartphone.

Bought for older gentleman because he needed to upgrade the only reason I went with this was Samsung has the easy mode which makes smart phones easier to use for seniors.

Purchased for my nephew to have a phone while he stays with us this summer, it has worked out great able stay in touch while he is here watching my son. Has all the features he needs and texting to reach us at work.

While it may not have all the capability of a larger more expensive Verizon, it suffices for every day use. Not real fast for apps, but sufficient. No NFC or data transfer from phone to phone except via Bluetooth.

I am a student and I could not afford an i-phone. So I looked at Windows and Android phones. This sounds like a better option compared to the Windows phone.

Love the phone, as I am a big Samsung Fan, although the space in the phone could be bigger. I added a 32gb SD card to give it more room, but it still lags at times. Still cute though! And I love the color!

Its a good phone. It has a big display and easy to type on. The apps are basic and can add more easy with google play. Plenty of memory and stays charged a fairly long time. overall its a good phone.

This is a great phone for our intended purpose. We got this phone for my 11 year old to use. He uses it as an mp3 player and small tablet because the only data he gets is wifi no monthly service.

Great temporary phone for the Grand Canyon which only offers spotty Verizon reception. used this as a temporary phone during trip.

Its been very reliable in the couple of months I've used it. Took a little while to get used to it...but as I do I'm liking it more and more. My husband got one and I want my mother to get one.
