For the price of the phone, it had sufficient memory to handle all the social media apps. It also takes decent pictures.

Just bought this for a 13yr old. This phone is stylish and "cool" for a teenager. It is almost identical to the Galaxy S family of phones. The only drawback is the inability to locate a case for it. Maybe they should sell these prepaid models with a basic case...especially when you cannot get one in a store. Just my thoughts...

went to best buy to check out prepaid phones found this one for the wife its not bad for what you pay for

For the price, this is a nice phone. It's a good starter phone. There are some issues that you wonder about, like it's very hard to see the screen while out in the sun, like when you push to go to video mode it immediately starts without allowing you to choose when to start. The Android OS is a dissapointment after using the iOS from Apple. I will be going back to that. But this is a good temp solution for me, and I can see it would be a good starter phone for someone who is looking for price.

Phone was easy to explain and demonstration got my mother was easy. She is able to use the phone with little coaching and seems pleased with the purchase.

My first smart phone. It is much easier to use than my old flip phone. I have yet to explore all that it can do, but I get service and internet out in the boonies. That is basically what I was looking for.

New product no on-line reviews available prior to purchase. Disappointed to learn Best Buy does not carry covers or protective screen overlays for this model. Have returned several times to check on this. Also searched Samsung website. Functions pretty much as expected but calendar function is very limited - cannot get an alert/reminder for a meeting other than via e-mail. ( have tried several approaches). Good instruction manual but need to download and print it for full feature explanation.

I bought this smartphone back in November when it was a "Deal of the Day" for $20, it replaced an LG Zone 2. The LG was a bit too small and it had a poor camera, this Samsung is a more reasonable size and the camera is good. I don't have phone service for it, I just use it for taking pictures, videos and as a "wireless terminal" -- accessing the web anywhere there is open wireless.

This is a decent phone for kids, bought these to give to children in extended family who had a habit of begging everyone else for their phone so they can play games. These are great for the price when they're on sale, although you absolutely NEED an SD card. The 8GB internal storage is not much at all, after a couple games and a few songs you'll start getting low storage warnings.

still trying to learn the navigation of the feautres on this phone. Being a busy person leaves little time to attend all of the Samsung lessons for these smart phones- I wish Samsung would write a users manual.to be kept for refernce in the use of the phones. We older folks really need a lot of help.

I love samsung, and i think it's a great phone for the price. I'm using it as a backup.

Decent memory and capabilities for the cost. We added to an existing contract and it was compatible. For a low cost phone functions fairly well.
