Decent memory and capabilities for the cost. We added to an existing contract and it was compatible. For a low cost phone functions fairly well.

After four years with my old trac-fone I was ready for an upgrade to a smart phone. I chose the Samsung Galaxy J1 4G LTE because I am familiar with Samsung as I own a tablet made by them. I have not been disappointed. I have had a few hiccups along the way but I am sure they were operator errors.

Phone is really slow. But does good for a little kid.

Extremely good quality for the price. I like this one better than the J3. I highly recommend this phone.

I got this phone for my kid to have as a first phone. Obviously they don't need something super expensive, so this fit the bill perfectly. And it was on sale which made it even better. Its a Samsung phone so you know it rocks plus my kid mostly will be online thru wifi and texting me, so extra stuff not needed.

This Smartphone has all the bells and whistles without the high price tag.

I upgraded to this phone from my Samsung Galaxy Legend. I'm quite happy with it. The few gripes I have are the battery size (although the battery lasts quite a while when idle or in ultra power saving mode) and RAM. I constantly have to reboot the phone when using apps, especially games like Fallout Shelter or Jurassic World. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. It's easy to use and if I ever have a question about a feature, Verizon has the manual online.

I had been wanting a smart phone for quite a while. When a friend showed me his new Samsung J1, I knew it was just what I needed. The price was right and all the features the phone has are what I felt were necessary to communicate efficiently with family and friends. It is excellent for taking care of business and making appointments, also.

This replaced the Galaxy S3. This is a good phone, excellent for the price. It does everything I need.

The phone is not the greatest but i think that it is very practical and affordable in the long run

I paid $30 for this phone on sale, its small and doesn't lag. Memory could be better though.
