This is still a wonderful story, but it might be difficult for the little ones to look past the somewhat dated computer animation.

This movies is 25 years old and STILL holds up to this day! I bought this movie to show my kids when I eventually gave them, but found myself enjoying it as much as I did when I was young. In fact, now I may have an even bigger appreciation for it since my mind is more developed and am able to get jokes I may have missed when I was younger. The animation still holds up by today’s standards. The steel case and price I bought it for was the icing on the cake!

I was able to get this during the buy 2 get 1 free sale while at the same time they were at a reduced price. The price for the 4k upgrade was too good to pass up. Whether or not it is worth the upgrade depends on your TV setup. The artwork on the steelbook is good and the issue of noting including the title on the side has been fixed. Now if they could just find a way to keep cardboard sleeve over the case to stay down. The movie still holds up and is one of my favorites.

A series everyone should own. Great for the whole family. Humor for adults and kids. A classic.

This one started it all and is already a Disney classic. A family favorite! Highly recommended!

I love this movie, the only wish I had is that it had the disney fast play. Other than that, it is perfect.

This was enjoyable to watch with son. Love watching and seeing how child would talk To them like they were with him.

Very nice steelbook for collectors. The a/v quality of this 4K release is strong for a 1995 production.

When it comes to animated movies, Pixar has always held a high standard and the original Toy Story is no exception. Toy Story is an excellent animated feature and a true classic that made Pixar a household name! The 4K transfer looks and sounds great. If you love this movie like me, this is a definite purchase and the best way to watch it. The collectible steelbooks are also a nice bonus for those who collect them.

I don't need to tell you how good this movie is. I was waiting to buy all three, possibly in a set, then I saw that solo blu-rays were being released with cool new character specific covers. Woody is my favorite, so this one is my most cherished. If you bought it early, you got the slipcover as well, which is always a nice little thing if you collect movies like I do. This deserves to be watched in the highest of quality, and it even came with the digital HD so I can watch it almost anywhere with internet!

I bought this movie for my 3yr old son after he found my wife's old Toy Story toys from our childhood in a box in the attic, and I think we've watched it at least once every night since I bought it home. Over 20 years later and the animation is still impressive. Includes extra features on the Blu-ray, plus the old ones from the DVD. Great behind the scenes on when Pixar originally pitched the movie to Disney and the Macy's Day Parade balloon.

Great Steelbook art and theme through Toy Story's 1-3--they look great on a shelf side-by-side. Unfortunately, they changed up the art on the Toy Story 4 packaging. Not sure why. Toy Story is always great, however, CG animation doesn't lend itself to being a showcase quality 4K presentation. I got them on Sale for $10 which was a great price for me to pull the trigger.

I enjoyed this movie even at an "elderly" age. I am going to purchase the next ones too.

If you haven't seen Toy Story yet, you probably haven't been born. It's been out for some time, and at the time was widely praised for it's style of animation. We purchased the movie at the request of our 3yo son who randomly picked it off the rack, and we approved of his choice. While he enjoyed the movie, there were several scenes that concerned him. Since viewing, it has not made it to his favorites list of movies to view over and over and over and over and over......

One of Pixar's best receives a fun, vibrant steelbook that perfectly captures the childlike magic of the film. This art series is wonderful- with beautiful, color-coded steels for each of Pixar's steels that makes them instantly recognizable and features an iconic scene from each film. Any Disney lovers need this on their shelf!

Woody (Tom Hanks), a good-hearted cowboy doll who belongs to a young boy named Andy (John Morris), sees his position as Andy's favorite toy jeopardized when his parents buy him a Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) action figure. Even worse, the arrogant Buzz thinks he's a real spaceman on a mission to return to his home planet. When Andy's family moves to a new house, Woody and Buzz must escape the clutches of maladjusted neighbor Sid Phillips (Erik von Detten) and reunite with their boy.
