Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Finally replaced an older Airport Extreme that I've had problems with for years. Granted I've only had this router up and running for a few minutes, so far it's awesome. Compared to the Airport Extreme, this thing has a greater range and speeds have been higher and remain constant (I pay for 30/5mbps and get 37/6mbps on speed tests through wireless). The interface is easy to use and contains plenty of options for configuring your network (I'm majoring in network administration so these options are great for someone like me). I haven't had a chance to utilize the USB port yet so I can't comment on that, I just hope it works unlike the Airport Extreme I previously used. The price is right on this one and I recommend to anyone looking for a router.

Poor wireless - Stopped working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially installed wireless distance maxed at 15 ft. Will not work into next room. After 30 days wireless not working. It seams all my neighbors show up so my laptop must be working OK.

The Archer C8 is certainly not only one of our more robust AC supported routers, but all around performance router for a multitude of uses such as in home and/or business networks. The issues you have encountered are definitely not common with this model so it seems as if this could be a defective unit.
However, we recommend contacting our 24/7 technical support team at the number provided below so an available technician may be able to assist in any possible troubleshooting and/or issue an RMA for the product if necessary.

Awesome router
