Works great. Setup was a little confusing and aggravating but eventually worked through it and it connected. It has boosted the signal in the lower level of the house to over 50 mbps where it was coming in at 6 or 8 previously. Can't beat the price point. So far a solid performer.

Does okay...seems to help WiFi in some areas of the house. Best for a smaller house or office.

Works great for what I need it for! No issues thus far

I use this with a TP link router in a "one-mesh" mode which means the router and this use the same SSID and it works well however the only thing I dont like about it is in this mode it's not possible to disable the 2.4 GHz wifi signal. I only want to use the 5 GHz signal. Other than that this works fine.

Works fairly good. There are times where I experience issues using this device, but it works OK.

Hi JavierR,
Thank you for your review. If you haven't noticed a significant improvement in Wi-Fi coverage after installing the extender, we recommend relocating the unit to a position within your home where the router's Wi-Fi signal is sufficiently strong, yet far enough from the router to extend its range effectively. Please verify that the RE status LED is indicating a solid connection.
We also recommend ensuring the extender's firmware is fully up to date using the steps outlined in FAQ 1406 on our official website: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1406/
If you would like assistance with any of these steps, please reach out to our support team using any of the resources included with the product, or from our official website, and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.
Thank you,
TP-Link Systems Support

I needed a way to connect a non-wifi network printer to my network at a distance from my router. This worked great, the printer came right up.

We needed a little boost for our network to service a TV. This did the trick. It's easy to setup and monitor, and it's small enough not to be too noticeable.

Item was very easy to hook up to my network. Not sure how well its working though. Price seemed fair. Overall would buy again.

I bought this to see if it would help with watching YouTube 4K videos from Roku that is plugged in to a Yamaha receiver connected to my family room tv. I was getting the spinning circle frequently during 4K videos and movies. I bought this extender, plugged it in nearby and am just amazed at how well it works! No more spinning circle! When I remodeled my family room I did run Internet cabling to all my rooms but never got around to connecting it all up. I can continue to put that off! I definitely can recommend this inexpensive unit!

Works to boost signal to my hastily set up work from home office. Some issues with Zoom calls but I usually do those closes to the router so the junk in the spare bedroom isn't on display.

It was a bit tricky to set up and get used to, but seems to be working really well so far. I'm very glad I made this purchase.

Works okay with Samsung devices, but for some reason it’s much better with my Apple devices. I think that may be because Samsung products aren’t as high in quality as Apple’s are.

New home, new wi-fi provider, not super reviews on the provider, and expected holes in coverage appeared quickly. Wirecutter recommended this, BB sent it to my semi-rural location, and I followed the instructions to the last word. I am NOT a novice, but communication between server and extender was not occurring. Called the 888 number and received the best, BEST, tech support ever. Yes, they were selling their services and when I called the next day, they were right there for me.

This product does its job. The set up was easy and seamless. All devices connected easily. Only con is that the speed of the WiFi is not the great. On my video game, I lag every time someone connects or disconnects from the WiFi. But it’s good enough for the price

I got this because I had a WiFi router that could be accessed from most of the house but had a little spot I needed a better than average connection from. Its access point mode is great and I plug a CAT6 cable into it from my wall outlet (which is ultimately connected to my switch). It provides great speed and is a bargain for the money. I only gave it a 4 because it'd be nice if the way it plugs in was a little more flexible. For a 2 plug outlet I can still use the other plug but barely.

I added this extender to get our backyard camera to work, and it did the job. It’s hard to be too effusive about it because our Internet isn’t great, so none of our devices are lighting fast.
I have best signal with thist product, it's good and have nice price.

Extender works great to boost signal strength over longer distances in my apartment. The app also lets you customize the functionality -- you can effectively convert a strong 5Ghz signal to one on the 2.4Ghz band (for instance if your older devices don't support 5Ghz).

I purchased this to provide Ethernet access to my Ring Doorbell Elite without having to run a very long Ethernet cable through my home. Works perfectly and helped eliminate a WiFi dead spot in my home.
