Customers express satisfaction with the AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E Range Extender's simple setup, extensive range, ease of use, and overall performance. Users also appreciate the strong signal strength, broad coverage, and improved connectivity provided by the device. However, some customers have noted concerns about speed reduction, the price point, and its bulky size. Additionally, a few users mentioned that it only extends 2.4 and 5GHz bands in OneMesh, not 6GHz.

My house has many walls and yet this TPLink device works perfectly well on my second floor (even with the stairway door closed) while the main router is more than 50 feet away on the ground floor (at the other end of the house) and is obstructed by several walled rooms. As long as I elevated the TPLink device to its highest elevation above bookshelves and closer to the ceiling I had perfect/maximum signal strength. The device also worked perfectly for a LAN ethernet connection to my computer.

The set up was easy using the Tether App just follow the instructions. It works exceptional with my WiFi 6GHz band. Really extends it out. But it will also extend your 5.0GHz band and 2.4GHz band. Worth the money for sure. And it stays connected. And has no problems re-connecting if there is a power loss, or you need to reboot your router or modem. So far so great.

Was able to add this extender on to my Orbi 960 mesh system. Increases reception to my outdoor ring cameras. This is the 2nd one I have added. I did have a Netgear extender, however the Netgear extender would disconnect periodically. The TP-Link axe5400 is the way to go as it will work with almost any existing WIFI system

In the past I've stayed away from TP-Link, there was no reason, I just found Amazon Eero and Linksys to suffice. We rented a new house and unfortunately AT&T brought fiber into the house in the farthest left front corner of the house. Not ideal. I hooked up the Eero Mesh consisting of 1 router and 2 access points and was getting a weak, inconsistent signal. On average, I would get 150 to 200 MBPS down and 75 to 150 MBPS up. It's not bad, but I have 1 GBPS fiber. Trying to resolve the issue I first purchased the TP-Link Wi-Fi 6E AX5400 PCIe card, it was a slight upgrade to the onboard NIC. Then I purchased the TP-Link Archer AXE300 6E router to replace the entire mesh. Surprisingly, from the same computer, from the one router I was seeing a more consistent signal with both the up and down speeds from 240 to 280 Mbps. Still hoping to get more out of my fiber speed, I noticed the TP-Link AXE5400 range extender. It arrived yesterday, and for me it was setup in only a couple of minutes. Durning the setup, the Tether app did hiccup once, but ultimately it didn't cause issues. The range extender picked up all three frequencies (2.4, 5, and 6 GHZ). Now from the same computer, I can see the 6E signal and full bars and when I did the speed test it averages between 550 and 580 both down and up. I found the TP-Link ranger extender to exceed my expectations.

I recently upgraded my WiFi to a TP-Link ARCHER AXE75 tri-band router. Rather than the third band being a second 5G band, it's a 6E band. Like 5G compared to 2.74G, the 6E has a significantly smaller sphere of distance connectivity-wise, so there were spots in my home that my 6e capable device couldn't connect without backing down to the 5G band. The only compatible extender TP-Link has as of right now with 6e capability is the RE815XE. Yes, it's pricey currently, but after setting it up via an Ethernet cable for maximum speed, my entire household has excellent coverage for all three bands. I love that the extender has the option to turn off the status lights and also allows a schedule for having the lights on or off. It's large and I have it plugged in to a short extension cable to the power strip so it doesn't take up two or three spots. The antennae are adjustable. It shows up along with the router on the Tether app. Very easy to use. If you're more concerned about speed and connectivity than you are about a cheap extender, just remember that in this case you definitely get what you pay for.

Tp link is a great product it really does a fantastic job to extend my router out to my garage. I have a brick house and I still get full strength Wi-Fi to my garage I would recommend this Wi-Fi extender to Anyone I bought the one that was more expensive its worth the extra money to make sure I don’t lose connectors

This is the best and easiest to use Wi-Fi extender I've ever installed and it's 6E capable for increased connection speeds. I love the TP-Link Tether app that allows advanced settings control for this product and their routers where they work together seamlessly for my home security cameras system and digital door locks.
