My old wireless wi-fi extender of about 4-5years(hard to say exact date) blew out recently. I forget the model. Small black square box with two antennas. I found it years back after reviewing a lot. It was supposed to be great but It never quite did the job as well as the claims. I had constant streaming interruptions. One day it worked the next day not so great. After that model new out on me a few weeks back I looked around and stumbled on this device. After some research on it I decided to get it. I thought I’d have to move it to a different location than the prior model I bought. I assume the location might not have been great. But! Turns out it’s fine in that spot. I’d say the service this provides is exceptional. Especially when compared to another product in the same spot. This signal is very strong. I can steam and use a lot of device on this without a single interruption yet. I’m very happy with this product. I recommend it. For further info if it helps. This is in an apartment that has a very long hallway between the main router and living room. Although my internet’s is super fast the signal is never strong enough to stream in the living room without interruptions or occasional quality loss. This product is very good. I highly recommend.

We have a security camera system and we needed a WiFi extender, tried a different brand but it kept disconnecting which was very frustrating. This extender has been great! I haven’t had to reconnect once. Works great!

A great extender. Awesome signal upstairs and down stairs. Use it with phones and laptops with no loss of connection and speed.

Router is in my basement and i have the extender set up in my room on the second floor. I have an ethernet cable wired into my ps4 from the extender and i get 290+ mbps download compared to 20 mbps. Took me 10 mins

Love this extender! I was a unsure about buying this because Ive never had anything from tp link, but im glad i made the purchase. It works perfect, very good range, and i game alot and have not had any issues with with high ping. If your looking for a range extender i recommended you give this one a try you wont regret it.

The signal seems to be stronger and found at all corners of the 3000 sq ft home. Simple process to activate unit with an app System has a simple clean look to it.

Seems to work great. No issues. Easy to set up. Son keeps unplugging it and when it gets plugged back in, there is no issues with reconnecting it.

Router works great! No problems since purchase. I wish it could be a little less bulky but for the most part it works.

Great extender for my router. It was easy to connect and worked right out of the box. My house should be easily covered between the original router and this extender.

This works great. Placed it on the complete other side of my house and it was real easy to get it to mesh with my router. This was a great purchase helped me get a stronger signal on that side of my home for devices to connect to my network

I havent had any issues getting online throughout my house since i purchased this. It work great. It was easy to get connected. It was well worth the money.

The Extender was worth it. It allowed me to extend my signal to my detached garage so I could have strong enough signal to setup MyQ and Ring Camera. Others I tried simply weren't quite strong enough or had spotty connection issues. Setup was easy and the app allows me to configure it the way I like. It's solid and well built. It's also heavier than most and a bit big. It does take an entire outlet but it definitely does the job.

I was looking for a range extender option for quite a while now. This one checked all the boxes that I was looking for: stable, high speed, one app ecosystem, configurability. This one was easy to set up and get started but allowed all of the configuring in advanced options that I like to update. So far it’s been rock solid after initial setup and the only time I had issues was when an anti dog barking thing we tried caused a lot of interference with the WiFi (not at fault of the extender) I tried several extender options previously from netgear, but they all required different apps, websites, etc to get them to work. Some of the previous attempts were ok but frequently required restarting or unplugging/replugging. Some were too slow. I really recommend this as it’s been stable enough to extend my T-Plink Archer router to the far side of my house and get perfect bandwidth and stability. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey when I purchased, but I quickly found out that I got what I paid for.

This range extender has allowed us the availability of having internet in the upstairs of our home, where before this was challenging to achieve. It was relatively easy to install and is serving its purpose!

In the past I've stayed away from TP-Link, there was no reason, I just found Amazon Eero and Linksys to suffice. We rented a new house and unfortunately AT&T brought fiber into the house in the farthest left front corner of the house. Not ideal. I hooked up the Eero Mesh consisting of 1 router and 2 access points and was getting a weak, inconsistent signal. On average, I would get 150 to 200 MBPS down and 75 to 150 MBPS up. It's not bad, but I have 1 GBPS fiber. Trying to resolve the issue I first purchased the TP-Link Wi-Fi 6E AX5400 PCIe card, it was a slight upgrade to the onboard NIC. Then I purchased the TP-Link Archer AXE300 6E router to replace the entire mesh. Surprisingly, from the same computer, from the one router I was seeing a more consistent signal with both the up and down speeds from 240 to 280 Mbps. Still hoping to get more out of my fiber speed, I noticed the TP-Link AXE5400 range extender. It arrived yesterday, and for me it was setup in only a couple of minutes. Durning the setup, the Tether app did hiccup once, but ultimately it didn't cause issues. The range extender picked up all three frequencies (2.4, 5, and 6 GHZ). Now from the same computer, I can see the 6E signal and full bars and when I did the speed test it averages between 550 and 580 both down and up. I found the TP-Link ranger extender to exceed my expectations.
