I just upgraded from a Netgear WiFi Router with a range extender in the other room. This was SO much easier to install and configure and works much more seamlessly with my devices. I had it up and running in no time with the Deco app on my Android phone. The only confusing thing was that the app asks you to pick your model and I kept looking for AXE5400, but it was under XE75 (the other part of the name). I also had to make sure that my old network was down for 30s or so before it would allow me to re-use the network name and password (so I wouldn't have to re-enter settings in every WiFi device in my house). I'm getting consistent, full speed throughout the house and garage now. I was happy that it will search all the channels to find the emptiest one (I live in a very crowded neighborhood - in the past I had to manually find the empty channels). After setup I used a scanning app to verify that it had chosen channels that none of my neighbors use :-) I also have wired ethernet in many places in the house, and was happy to find that I could just plug one of the non-main units into the wall and it automatically switched to using the wired connection as the backchannel to the main unit. How cool was that? The app shows exactly what is going on with the system in a very understandable way. It literally made every smart decision through the whole process all by itself. Even though I know what to do, I didn't have to lift a finger for it to set itself up in the most optimal way. I wondered if I was being silly to spend this kind of money to upgrade my system, and it was worth every penny!

The TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro is a top-tier Wi-Fi 6E mesh system known for its easy setup and superior performance, utilizing the new 6E spectrum. This three-piece system offers 6GHz connectivity, Multi-gig Ethernet (great if your speed from ISP is more than 1Gbps), robust throughput between Mesh points using 6E for backhaul (although you can, I recommend not using it for clients), fast roaming (allows wireless clients to move between mesh points without interruption), and beamforming (improves client connectivity by reducing interference which increases data transfer speeds). Setting up the Deco XE75 Pro is quick and straightforward through the Deco app (the web-based console is very limited and you can’t use it to set it up). The system includes advanced network security features like malicious content filtering and parental controls. Priced competitively, the XE75 Pro stands out for its exceptional performance and signal range, making it a reliable choice for large homes with many clients. Overall, it competes well with other more expensive top 6E mesh systems.

Best wifi router I've ever owned

I moved into a 3 bedroom town home and my girlfriend works from home, her work laptop was required to be plugged into a ethernet jack and she wasn't allowed to use wifi. the problem was that our modem was in our living room and not her office and she didn't want to have cables running through our hallway to our upstairs I had been wanting to upgrade to wifi 6E since many of my devices would be compatible and our new house was hooked up to 1 gig fiber internet. so with this new problem at my new house, I looked into if a wifi mesh system would solve this problem. this was recommended to me by a Best Buy employee when I asked for solutions to the ethernet issue. this has been a game changer. this solved our ethernet issue and actually allowed me to have ethernet hookup for my desktop in my office as well. this has been a game changer for our house. our download speeds over wifi are in the high hundreds of mega bits which has been great for video upload and download as well as downloading games on my switch. I would highly recommend this.

If you need a WiFi upgrade wait on WiFi 7 to drop in price, more devices to support it(not many support 6E yet) and get this as it's very easy to setup as a new network, or add into your already existing TP-Link Deco mesh network, as I was able to add these to my 4 existing TP-Link Deco X20 mesh network, and make these the main units using their excellent Android app without losing my settings, or having to reset my existing devices, I was then able to set the WiFI 6 channels as dedicated wireless backhaul saving me from having do custom ethernet cable runs, and I get full speeds from my T-Mobile 5G gateway( I pull down between 450 Mbps to over 700 Mbps w/50Mbps to 150 Mbps up with sub 24ms idle pings) across my entire single story ranch style house when connected to the Deco XE75 base stations, and using my older X20 base stations I now have WiFi out into my front, back, & side yards, and even down the street with no dead zones. So in my nearly 20 years setting up many WiFi networks TP-Link Deco Mesh WiFi has been the easiest I've ever used, and well worth the investment if you don't want to do wired backhaul.

Super easy installation, is compatible with Starlink internet, good for expanding the WiFi reach in our home. I only wish it's area coverage was larger. I will need to buy more to allow WiFi reach further. Signal strength is good but could be more consistent. We are getting varied upload/download speeds.

Easy set-up and works well. I would question the statement on the sq-ft of home coverage that this item can handle if the home is not an open concept style. I have a 2400 sq-ft home with a basement and the concept is standard colonial, so there are quite a few separate rooms and walls. I had to place 2 on the first floor, on opposite sides of the home, and 1 on the second floor, above one of the ones on the first, and this works well to get good coverage in the home. The incoming internet is technically 1 GBPS cable internet, and with phone connected right next to one of the towers, I get 730 Mbps download, if you go about 20 feet away almost in between the 2 first floor towers, speed will drop to 500 Mbps. Overall, this is much better than the previous single router I had and now coverage over the entire house has been improved greatly.

The TP-Link - Deco XE75 Pro AXE5400 is awesome. I was replacing an older mesh system that was dying. So happy that I chose this one. The speeds are off the charts and there's no lag. Went from nearly dropping signal at one end of the house to covering every inch of the 3,200 sq/ft and also really far outside. I would highly recommend this.

Purchased the Deco XE75 to replace my WiFi Mesh System that I bought last year. I have the 3 devices setup in the living room (center of the house), garage, and bedroom. I have a spotless coverage on all of my devices, whether I use the laptop, phones, etc. Apple TV streaming device (there are 3 set up in my house) works flawless with this system, never had any issues. The guest network option is great to have for anyone coming over. Setup was super easy, works straight out of the box.

This mesh router system is fantastic. Setup was very easy, and the speeds i am seeing through my house are incredible. Devices switch seemlessly between the units as you move around, providing solid coverage throughout our 3 floors of vertical living. Highly recommend this system for anyone looking to up their coverage and throughput of their system

Holy Holy Holy COW people. I had the triple pack $1000 Orbi 850s from 4 - 5 years ago. They literally died on me and Ive had nothing but issues since 1 year after purchase. Bought these the XE75s after seeing the rave reviews.... these Beat linksys, asus, Netgear 1000 - 1500 dollar solutions, these are as good as ubiquities. Insane! Speeds and coverage for $400 - $500 bucks. Worth Every Penny. Buy it! App was alittle weird but once I got all 3 units synced and updated to lastest firmware. 0 issues and rock solid. Fast.com reports 1.2gbps on wifi6e devices for me including my ps5 wired to a node. If your in the market, stop looking. Only thing better than this might be tplink wifi7 series. Unbelievable, netgear should be sued!

I always had Netgear wifi units. In 2018 bought an Orbi system. It worked well. When it came to upgrading my daughter told me about the DECO mesh system. She bought the 7E high-dollar one. I can't afford that so found this unit for $299 at Best Buy. It was an easy setup and works fantastic. I did not know what I was missing. My apps on my TV and elsewhere load up fast. Great speed all over the house now. No buffering on movies. I had upgraded my internet to one gig speed.

I’ve had an eero mesh system installed for years - upgraded regularly as their offerings have changed. But switching between hubs was pretty dismal and signal penetration wasn’t inspiring. I purchased a 3 unit Deco set to replace a 5 unit eero network. I have more solid coverage now and my devices seamlessly and intelligently switch between stations (and I don’t lose signal if I go behind a stucco fireplace on the exterior of my stucco home like before). A drastic improvement! I also like the integrated network vpn you can setup as an add-on. It seems to beat the eero+ subscription functionality (and price). I’m a happy convert.

We had an eero Pro 6E mesh wifi system which was a pain to install and did not work well and stopped working after 8 months, Eero was no help and we lost $350.00 by buying on amazon, even thought it should have a 1 year min. warranty by Maine law. This unit installed easy and works far better then the crappy Eero...........

I love the speed of these. but are a few things that get me. 1. You MUST use the mobile app in order to do ANYTHING when it comes to configuring it. Must even more frustrating than that is that the settings are really limited! I had more options on my wrt54g! 2. There is no separate SSID's for 2.4, 5, 6GHz bands. so when it comes to your smart home stuff that ONLY uses 2.4 you have to go in the app and select 2.4 band only and then setup your smart home stuff, and then you can put it back to 2.4 or 5GHZ. 3. Not as annoying, the power cord is really short! 4. The parental controls are VERY limited unless you cough up money for their full version. "Home Shield Pro" is $55,00 a year. So after paying 500 bux for this they want MORE money for a yearly subscription which I got for free from the old tplink router I had
