I couldn't get reliable streaming in this area the device works very well The one problem I see is that it heats up so I need to unplug it whenever I am not streaming

This adapter works exactly as described. My Wi-Fi signal was too weak to use streaming services or on-line gaming without buffering at the other end of my loft so I purchased this Powerline adapter. Now I have no problem streaming from a Firestick (connected via the new extended Wi-Fi signal) or gaming from the PS4 (connected via the Ethernet adapter). Super easy to set up, too! I recommend it if you need a boost in an area far away from your wireless router.

Worked great for us! Synched up right away and brought strong wifi signal to a part of the house that previously had a very weak signal (lots of walls between it and the router).

I hooked this up in my shed, now I have wifi in my backyard. Works great.

easy to set up. Lets you mimic your current wifi SSID so its simple to use. noticed between 5-20mbps improvement. Smart TV used to have constant wifi droppings, set it up with on of thee direct inputs, never any problems.

Great investment if you need the wider wifi range.

ok, not really technical, but this was plugged in and used in minutes. it was connected to my blu-Ray DVD player to download an upgrade and it was done. able to play redbox DVDs from that point on. easy. additionally, better connection when on my outdoor deck playing music on pandora. yep, easy and effective.

We purchased this item to improve sometimes iffy wi-fi reception in certain parts of our 2 story house. It has not only provided a plug in base for one computer but vastly improved the signal strength and reliability throughout what used to be some tricky areas. Very much worth the investment.

I have tried WiFi extenders before and was frustrated with them because I was constantly having to reset them. This one is stronger, faster, and I have not had to reset it one time. I get a stronger signal in places in my home where I do not get a strong enough connection to do anything.

Easy to set up and great quality product. The range of my wi-fi increased significantly and I'm extremely satisfied.

The unit works but the range is weak for the wifi. It did what I wanted to do, But if you are looking to fill a dead spot bigger than a room you are going to be out of luck.

I used this to extend Wifi to my pool area outside. It works very well and I get nearly the same bandwidth as if I had a direct ethernet connection. I set up the SSID to be the same as the inside of my house so it is a seamless transition. With that said, I plugged this in to a newer one of my outlets. I tried it on an older outlet and it didn't work at all. So your results are going to be very dependent on your specific situation. I would try it before you committ to it

I wasn't sure this item was going to work. I was wrong. This was a very good investment to extend my wi-fi all over the whole house. I would recommend this product if you have dead spots in your house.

Was hoping to replace my old linksys wrt54g connected to a TP-Link AV500 powerline extender with this N300 extender, however while the connection had similar strength, it was not as stable, leading to many interruptions while streaming on Netflix for instance. Hoping I just had a dud, as all the other TP-Link products I own have worked great.

I had to extend some Ethernet at my in-laws. No way I was going to start ripping into drywall to run cat5 everywhere. The powerline ethernet adapter was clearly the way to go. But these are not all created equal. In fact, the Netgears work way better than other off-brand models if you ask me. You can connect several of these together and go crazy creating a small mesh of extenders all around your house. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and install and I think it can be a better choice than an extender

Super easy installation, less than 5 minutes and you are ready to go.

It works perfect for us because we have several laptops and desktops..connection is great.
